The silver dragon girl lying in bed lazily stretched and yawned.
In her half-awake state, she felt warm sunlight spilling over her.
It seemed to be morning.
Xia Yi slowly sat up and rubbed her eyes.
She remembered what happened yesterday. That trashy Succubus had come to cause trouble, insisting on doing lewd things with her and even used despicable means, trying to force her to comply.
So, she had gone to find Xia Lulu for help…
“That’s right, I went to find Xia Lulu. I probably slept there for the night… Huh?!”
Xia Yi looked at the person lying beside her, utterly astonished.
It was a silver dragon who looked exactly like her.
“It’s Xia Lulu!”
She was extremely surprised.
Could there really be a day when she saw Xia Lulu waking up later than her?

“Am I dreaming?”

She really was asleep.
“Why is this? Is she too tired lately?”

Xia Yi laughed.
She could absolutely use this chance to launch a surprise attack on Xia Lulu.
After all, she was the Sword Saint! Xia Lulu was her mortal enemy. This was a perfect opportunity to carry out her revenge plan.

Xia Lulu opened her eyes at that moment.

After a good while, Xia Lulu seemed to “boot up,” returning to her usual self.
“Quite a surprise, Xia Yi. You actually woke up earlier than me today,” Xia Lulu said. “I thought you’d be lazing in bed forever.”
“Lazing in bed? Don’t paint me as someone irredeemably degenerate! As a Sword Saint, I always possess extremely high self-control. I absolutely do not sleep in!” Xia Yi retorted.
“Is ~ that so?”
“Uh, well… Occasionally, there are some… unforeseeable special circumstances that prevent me from leaving the bed immediately. But those are just rare exceptions!”
“These ‘unforeseeable special circumstances’ seem to occur quite frequently, though. According to Serra, you’ve apparently never been on time…”
“Ah! Right, Xia Lulu, what about that matter?”
Xia Yi hurriedly changed the subject.
“I came to find you before because I encountered a huge problem!”
“You mean that trashy Succubus?”
“Yes, that’s the one! The Succubus, Ella!”
“That trashy Succubus was getting a bit too arrogant, so I gave her a lesson,” Xia Lulu said. “You don’t need to worry. She probably won’t dare bother you again.”

Xia Yi sat before the dressing table.
Serra gathered Xia Yi’s long silver hair and began brushing it.

“Your… authority?”
“Exactly! During the Anti-Vampire Clan War, my authority broke through the heavens! I’ve shed my old self and forged a brand new persona! I can’t wait to experience the respectful and awe-filled attitude others will have towards me now!”
“But, Your Highness, last night you…”
“Serra, what did you just say? I didn’t quite catch it.”
“Nothing at all,” a smile appeared on Serra’s face. “This is indeed something very much worth looking forward to. Your performance is already known throughout the Dragon Royal Palace.”
“That’s right, isn’t it!! I knew it, hehehe!”
Xia Yi grew even more excited. After all, people used to treat her like a mascot.
“Hmph, I’ve thoroughly washed away the past disgrace! The entire Dragon Royal Palace is starting to look at me in a new light! Authority is finally in my grasp!!”
