“Elly, why is breakfast so green today?! Where’s the meat?!”
Xia Yi directed a soul-piercing question at Elly.
Because the food placed before her consisted almost entirely of fruits and vegetables.
“Princess, this was prepared according to the meal plan Sister Serra gave me,” Elly explained. “Sister Serra said that during the past period, you’ve been a bit too indulgent, resulting in nutritional imbalance. You absolutely need to be regulated. Breakfast should be lighter, and we’ll properly replenish energy at lunchtime.”
The “recent indulgence” Serra referred to was precisely Xia Yi sneaking snacks before meals and even secretly rummaging through the kitchen late at night for food.

“I’m not an elf!”

“Ahem.” Xia Yi revealed her trump card. “Elly, don’t you want to be promoted to a full maid?”
“…?!”
Elly trembled from head to toe.
The silver-haired little girl whispered in a devilish tone, “Oh, Elly. As long as you obediently listen and do what I like, you’ll earn my approval. That’s basically speeding up your promotion to full maid. I could even personally speak to Lucia and put in a good word for you…”
“Full maid… full maid… I want to become a full maid!!”
In the end, Elly couldn’t resist the temptation.
“Princess, forget light meals! Whatever you like to eat, I’ll make it for you!!”
Yay—Elly took the bait successfully.
This silly little green-dragon maid really was easy to manipulate.
If it were Lucia, even acting cute might not necessarily work.
“I’ll go make you a new breakfast right away!”
Elly rolled up her sleeves and left the room.
After a short while, she returned carrying an abundant breakfast, making Xia Yi’s heart bloom with joy.
This was even more satisfying than her usual breakfast.
A wonderful day begins with unrestrained overeating in the morning!
Just as Xia Yi was about to dig in, a dragon soldier suddenly came to report.
“Princess, an elven officer wishes to see you.”
“Mm…”
Xia Yi looked at the untouched food before her and thought to herself—why did these people have to come at such an awful time?
“Have him wait for a bit. Just a short while.”
“The elven officer says it’s a very important matter and asks that you go immediately, without delay,” the dragon soldier repeated.
Elly was instantly displeased upon hearing this. Interrupting the princess’s breakfast was no different from obstructing her path to becoming a full maid!
It was simply an unforgivable sin!
“A mere elven officer dares to speak to Her Highness in such a tone? Doesn’t he know his own place? Why should the princess’s precious breakfast time be disturbed by some ignorant nobody? Make him wait!”
“Understood.”
The dragon soldier acknowledged and withdrew.
After leaving Xia Yi’s treehouse, he went outside and found the elven officer.
“Our princess is currently enjoying breakfast. Please wait for a while,” the dragon soldier relayed.
“What?!”
The elven officer frowned. He was merely delivering a message—Kennedy wanted to see Xia Yi.
“Didn’t I say it was an important matter? That your dragon princess should not delay?!”
“Oh? And so what?”
The dragon soldier gave him a cold look.
“We told you to wait. What’s the problem?”
“You arrogant dragons! Our elven race has treated you with courtesy, allowing you to stay in our army’s camp, and yet you show no gratitude!” the elven officer said angrily. “Our general wants to see your princess—do you understand?!”
The dragon soldier couldn’t even be bothered to give him a proper glance. Leaving those words behind, he walked away.
The elven officer desperately wanted to charge in and confront them, but a glance at the surrounding dragons—each staring at him intently—made him stop.
If he dared make even the slightest dangerous move, these soldiers might revert to their true dragon forms and attack on the spot.
The more he thought about it, the angrier he became. This was clearly elven territory—who was the host, and who was the guest? Why were these foreign dragons acting so arrogantly?
What gave the dragon race the right?!
The elven officer clenched his fists tightly, forcibly suppressing his anger. In the end, he refrained from doing anything reckless.
In his heart, he thought that the dragons were only being arrogant for now—and later, they would learn their lesson.

“Sorry to keep you waiting, Elven Officer.”
Having finished her breakfast, Xia Yi came outside and met the elven officer.
In truth, once she heard someone had come looking for her, she had already sped up her eating and finished earlier than usual, without taking much time.
“Silver Dragon Princess, the General wishes to see you,” the elven officer said, suppressing the anger in his heart. “Please allow me to escort you.”
“Alright.”
Xia Yi nodded.
She brought along several dragon soldiers as guards and followed the elven officer out of the dragon encampment, crossing into elven territory, until they arrived at an especially distinctive treehouse.
Inside were mostly elven officers with considerable status in the army—prominent figures with influence and standing.
Xia Yi gave them a cursory glance.
“General, the Silver Dragon Princess has arrived,” the elven officer reported before moving to Kennedy’s side.
Kennedy nodded and looked toward Xia Yi.
This was the first time the two of them had met.
Kennedy sized Xia Yi up, feeling slightly surprised. At the anti-vampire clan alliance conference, the dragon princess had defeated the Minotaur chieftain in a contest of strength. She should have been a figure exuding overwhelming pressure—yet she looked like a silly little girl, even less reliable than Eve.
However, he did not reveal these thoughts and instead smiled.
“Greetings, Silver Dragon Princess. I am Kennedy, General of the Elven Army.”
“Greetings, General Kennedy. I am Xia Yi · Christie, Silver Dragon Princess from the Dragon Kingdom.”
Xia Yi returned the greeting with equal courtesy.
However, the question she asked next caused all the elves present to instantly change their expressions.
