“Do you like cream puffs?”
Xia Yi asked a seemingly nonsensical question.
Cream puffs…?
Ella didn’t understand what Xia Yi meant, and she didn’t want to answer.
“Let me go, let me go right now!”
“So you’re saying you don’t like them?” Xia Yi pressed on.
“Whether I like them or not is none of your business!”
“Ella, it seems you’re a bit hot-tempered and don’t want to communicate properly. But that’s okay—”
Xia Yi called out loudly.
“Elly!!”
“Your Highness, I’m here!”
“Get to work!”
“As you command!”
Elly appeared, holding a burlap sack and rope.
The icy chains binding Ella disappeared, giving her a moment of freedom to move.
Seeing Ella still squirming, Elly found it troublesome. She simply grabbed the succubus, swung her around in the air, and slammed her onto the ground.
“Urk… urk…”
Ella’s eyes began spinning.
Seizing the opportunity, Elly proceeded to tie Ella up thoroughly, trussing her until she almost looked like a zongzi dumpling.
“What are you trying to do to me? I’m a succubus!! A super rare demon! If you mess with me, I won’t hesitate to go all out—”
Though her body was immobilized, Ella kept shouting.
“So noisy, isn’t there something to gag Ella with?”
The silver-haired little girl narrowed her eyes, scanning Ella’s body. Suddenly, her eyes lit up.
Got it.
“Elly, take off this rotten succubus’s black stockings!” Xia Yi ordered. “Then stuff them in her mouth!”
“What?!”
Hearing such an outrageous statement, Ella broke down.
“Stop, don’t do that… Mmmph!!”
But Elly acted quickly, pulling the over-the-knee black stockings right off Ella’s legs, balling them up, and stuffing them into Ella’s mouth.
Now, with her mouth forcibly gagged, Ella could no longer continue her ranting.
“Elly, bag her up, we’re taking her away!” Xia Yi said cheerfully.
“As you command, Your Highness!”
Elly stuffed Ella into the burlap sack and hoisted her over her shoulder to leave.

“We’re finally here!”
Xia Yi looked at the Elven army camp before her with a sigh of relief. This journey has been full of twists and turns.
After locating Ella, tying up the troublemaking succubus, and taking her away, she had led the Anti-Vampire Special Operations Force dragons forward to their destination.
“Are those trees part of the Elven camp?”
Elly, still carrying the burlap sack, pointed at the extensive groves of trees.
Xia Yi noticed too that there were many Elves moving about in the trees. Those massive trees seemed to have been modified with natural magic to form treehouses.
Natural magic is really quite convenient. Unlike other races that use tents for camps, these treehouses are much more comfortable than tents.
“Dragons?”
An Elven soldier spotted Xia Yi’s group and came over to inquire.
Xia Yi introduced herself: “I am the Silver Dragon Princess from the Dragon Kingdom. Having received a request from the Elven envoy, I have come here to provide support to the Elves in overcoming the vampire pass.”
“Silver Dragon Princess, we did receive word of your arrival. I will report to General Kennedy immediately!”
The Elven soldier headed into the depths of the camp.
After a while, the Elven general didn’t appear, instead, the Elven Princess came.
“Eve!”
“Xia Yi, we meet again,” Eve said as she approached. “How are you holding up?”
“Princess Eve!”
An Elven officer nearby whispered a reminder, trying to get Eve to mind her manners a bit and not be overly familiar with the dragons.
“Your Highness, this is our Elven territory. Everything should be handled by us, the Elves.”
“……”
Eve clearly didn’t want to pay much attention to the Elven officer, showing no reaction to his suggestion.
She noticed the sack Elly was carrying, blinked, and seemed to realize what it was.
“Silver Dragon Princess, greetings. I am a subordinate of General Kennedy,” the Elven officer stepped forward. “General Kennedy is currently away, supervising the faint operation planned by our Elves. It will be some time before he returns. During this period, we hope your dragon forces can wait. Once the General returns, all matters will be decided.”
“What do you mean by this? We’ve come all this way, and this is the attitude you show? Why should we wait for you? It’s not our place to wait for you!”
On the dragon side, some were clearly displeased with the Elves’ attitude and began to protest.
After all, back in their own country, anyone who dared show such disrespect to their princess would have been slapped down long ago.
Xia Yi, however, noticed something. These Elves kept mentioning General Kennedy in every sentence and didn’t seem concerned with Eve’s opinion. This was different from the situation during their last meeting.
She realized something might have changed within the Elven ranks. At least for now, Eve’s words didn’t seem to carry much weight, it was probably the Elven general who was in charge of everything.
Better to wait and see what the Elven general is like before deciding the next step.
“Alright, we’ll wait then,” Xia Yi replied.
The Elven officer said, “We have already arranged an area outside for your forces to rest and set up camp—”
“No, let the dragons enter the Elven camp,” Eve interrupted the officer.
“Your Highness, what did you say?” The Elven officer’s eyes widened. “Without General Kennedy’s permission, that is not allowed! If the other party harbors ill intentions, our Elven camp could be in danger!”
“Let the dragons in,” Eve repeated. “Xia Yi and her people are not enemies. Do not doubt them.”
“…Your Highness, General Kennedy will certainly be displeased if he learns of this.”
“That’s fine. I am the one saying this. If there are any problems later, let Kennedy come to me,” Eve replied. “Or do you think the commands of the Elven royal family hold no weight for you?”
“…As you wish.”
The Elven officer reluctantly agreed, gritting his teeth. In front of Eve, he indeed didn’t have enough authority. Trying to use Kennedy to pressure her was ineffective.
“Mmmph…!”
The burlap sack Elly was carrying made a sound and moved a few times.
“What is that? Is there a person inside?!” the Elven officer asked suspiciously.

Elly explained, even mimicking the sound.

The Elven officer was speechless. That clearly didn’t sound like it, she was obviously playing dumb. It was too suspicious.

The little princess whispered her request into Eve’s ear.
After listening, Eve looked somewhat surprised. “Xia Yi, what do you need that for?”
