Chapter 499: Slaughtering the Ox Demon King

Witnessing this horrifying scene, both human and demon spectators instinctively wiped cold sweat from their brows. Their legs instinctively clamped together, an uncomfortable phantom pain making them wince.

Fang Lie also broke into cold sweat. Contrary to any perverse assumptions, he’d simply intended to use his Void Claws spatial divine skill to pluck the Demon Pill from the Ox Demon King’s belly.

The complication arose because the naked Ox Demon King had retracted his vulnerable parts into his abdomen using a contraction technique during battle. Fang Lie’s Void Claws accidentally seized these organs instead of the intended target.

Despite the awkwardness, Fang Lie calmly stored the biological trophies. "Sixth-rank demon bull’s genitals could refine Seventh-rank spirit pills," he remarked cheerfully. "I’ll consider this a windfall!"

"BASTARD!" roared the humiliated Ox Demon King, launching a desperate punch through the pain. But Fang Lie had already teleported away.

The enraged demon’s fist struck empty air. Before he could recover, agony exploded in his chest – his fist-sized heart now pulsed in Fang Lie’s grip. "Impressive Earth-element vitality," Fang Lie commented, sealing the still-beating organ into a Sumeru Bag. "Eighth-rank alchemical material right here."

The Ox Demon King stared in horror at his stolen heart. While lost genitals could regenerate through demonic arts, a missing heart meant certain death. Despair ignited fury. "IF I DIE, YOU DIE WITH ME!" he bellowed, channeling magic to detonate his Demon Pill.

"Tsk. Such wastefulness." Fang Lie’s Void Claws flashed again. The watermelon-sized Demon Pill emerged unscathed, its surface swirling with golden divine patterns. "A Tenth Millennium Demon King’s core? This trumps most Eighth-rank treasures."

With both heart and Demon Pill extracted, the Ox Demon King collapsed. His dying glare locked on Fang Lie as he rasped, "Without… breaking my Earth Golden Body… you couldn’t…"

"You shouldn’t have underestimated me," Fang Lie shrugged as light faded from the demon’s eyes. The once-invincible Ox Demon King fell lifeless, features frozen in bitter resentment.

The battlefield fell silent. This was no minor demon – this was the legendary Earth Golden Body master who’d dominated the Demon Domain for millennia. Yet Fang Lie had dismantled him in three moves without sustaining a scratch.

"Mo Sect’s Fang Lie…" Immortal Qingning breathed. "The rumors didn’t do him justice."

"Against that monster, I’d need an hour with my Eighth-rank Flying Sword just to force retreat," admitted Flower Sword. "But slaughtering him? Like butchering chicken!"

"He possesses twin spatial divine skills – teleportation and precision extraction," analyzed Immortal Wulian, paling. "With our inferior defenses, he could harvest our hearts as easily as picking fruit."

The two human experts exchanged terrified glances. Meanwhile, the remaining demon commanders convened urgently.

"Retreat?" Black Flame Demon King suggested, eyeing Fang Lie nervously.

Blue Butterfly Demon King scoffed. "Three Demon Kings leading a million-strong horde, fleeing from a Qi Sea cultivator? We’d become the laughingstock of the Demon Domain!"

"Then we attack together," Black Flame growled. "His spatial skills have limits – my Black Flames will blind him, while your illusions ensnare."

The female demon commander nodded. "Once disoriented, I’ll bend him to my will. Those spatial divine skills will make excellent spoils."

"Two against one? How demonically shameless," Fang Lie taunted as the pair approached.

"Demons wear shame as armor," Blue Butterfly retorted. "Beg your human friends for help… if they can rise from their deathbeds!"

Fang Lie smirked. Nine identical copies materialized amid bursting fireclouds. "You want numbers? Let’s play."

"Impossible!" Black Flame roared. "Clone technique? Illusions?"

"Does it matter?" Blue Butterfly countered. "Our attacks blanket entire areas. Just maintain the Black Flame Hell!"

Obediently, Black Flame Demon King spewed corrosive darkness that devoured light itself. Flames consumed hundred-mile radius, melting stone walls into slag. Within this inferno, spatial teleportation became impossible – Fang Lie’s greatest advantage neutralized.

"NOW DIE HUMAN!" the demons chorused as annihilation closed in.
