Chapter 355
by fanqienovelChapter 355: A Huge Pot
At the borders of the Demon Realm, the original dark landscape tore open, revealing beams of white light. The gloom fell away like a lifted curtain, exposing shadows of mountains and rivers in the void. Lush greenery emerged, starkly contrasting the surrounding desolation—a scene from the Human Realm.
The Demon God arrived first, appearing in a flash above the border. He stared at the gaping hole in the land, watching the familiar white-clad figure stride toward him through the light.
“Yuan Qi, you’ve gone mad!” the Demon God spat, disbelief coloring his voice. He’d schemed for ages to maintain the seal that had forced Yuan Qi into slumber. Yet here the man stood, power radiating thicker than before—enough to potentially overwhelm him. “Your strength has returned!”
Yuan Qi’s usual gentleness had vanished. His eyes held glacial coldness as white light pulsed from him. Sword in hand, he advanced, each step shredding the Demon Realm’s darkness with blinding radiance.
When fully inside the Demon Realm, he locked eyes with the Demon God. Bone-chilling murderous intent rolled off him, carrying the crushing weight of celestial judgment. Winds howled as skies darkened. “Where’s You You? Release her!”
“None of your damn business!” The Demon God’s anger flared, black energy coiling around him. “I won’t free her. What’ll you do about it?”
Yuan Qi’s light flared brighter, slamming against the Demon God’s dark aura. Their opposing forces clashed violently. “You’re unworthy of her presence,” Yuan Qi hissed. “Surrender her.”
“Unworthy?!” The Demon God’s power erupted in waves. “She holds half my essence! No one’s more entitled than me!”
“Silence!” Yuan Qi trembled with rage, white light morphing into razor-edged wind blades threatening to shred him completely. “A traitor like you has no right to speak her name!”
“Traitor?!” The Demon God recoiled. “I never betrayed her! You broke the seal—don’t pin your crimes on me!”
“Fool.” Yuan Qi’s voice dripped contempt. “Do you truly forget your own sins?”
“What sins?!” The Demon God roared. “That power in her is mine by right! I’ll reclaim what’s—”
Yuan Qi paled, composure cracking. “What did you do to her?!”
Seeing his panic, the Demon God smirked. “Why care? She’s just a thief who stole my—”
CRACK!
White light exploded outward, vaporizing surrounding demonic energy. The very ground quaked as the Demon Realm’s structure groaned under the assault.
“You’re actually serious?!” The Demon God gaped. This wasn’t their usual scheming—Yuan Qi meant to kill him. Summoning his full power, he materialized a long sword and charged. “Bring it on!”
You You arrived to find the sky split—blinding white battling consuming darkness. Below, the two realms crumbled under colliding energies.
“Had I known Feng Rong was you,” Yuan Qi snarled mid-strike, “I’d have barred you from her!”
“I knew her first!” The Demon God shot back. “You’re the outsider here!”
“Mindless brute—you don’t deserve her!”
“She’s mine! As Feng Rong then, as her protector now!”
“I should’ve slain you instead of sealing you!”
“Try it! Let’s settle your betrayal once and for all!”
You You’s eye twitched. “Could you two fight without using me as your excuse?”
Neither heard. Their battle raged on, oblivious to her presence. She grimaced, feeling the weight of some ridiculous “Troublesome Beauty” label descending upon her.
Movement caught her eye—a red glow behind the white chaos. A protective formation held Shui Yan, Ling Qi, and others in white robes. They waved desperately, voices swallowed by the maelstrom.
“Stay back!” You You cried as opposing forces repelled her. The group collapsed under mounting pressure.
Heart lurching, she gathered her energy and shouted: “Feng Rong! Yuan Qi! STOP THIS!”
