Chapter 340: The Awakened Bone Dragon

Feng Rong and Yuan Qi, who had been guarding You You, charged out. A storm of wind blades and flames erupted, instantly wiping clean the approaching demon tribes.

But more waves of demon tribes surged forward, growing increasingly numerous. Even several Celestial Demons joined the assault.

You You accelerated the sealing process, channeling all her focus into guiding the crystal’s power. Sealing formations spread like tidal waves across the massive Demon Mountain. Where they passed, Demonic Energy scattered as if meeting its nemesis, forcing demon tribes into retreat. The formations crept toward the mountain’s peak.

Suddenly, You You felt a sharp stab in her chest – fleeting yet ominous. Though unease gripped her, the sealing neared completion. She clenched her teeth and pressed on.

The sealing formation climbed higher, about to engulf the peak and push the entire mountain back into the Demon Realm.

Then…

A dragon roar shook the air. A colossal white-boned figure burst from Demon Ghost Mountain, shattering part of the seal. Its skeletal body, woven from Demonic Energy, loomed with hollow eye sockets blazing crimson flames.

"The Demon King returns!" demon tribes cheered. Those nearly suppressed by gods suddenly rallied, swarming toward the commotion.

You You glared at the Bone Dragon. She’d feared this since Demon Ghost Mountain appeared. Of course it awakened now.

"Hahaha!" The Bone Dragon coiled above, laughter booming. "The Demon Realm’s seal breaks! Our time to rule the Six Realms comes!"

"You You." Feng Rong turned grimly. "How much longer?"

"Fifteen minutes," she gritted out.

Feng Rong glanced at the Bone Dragon. "Yuan Qi! Protect her!" He transformed into a blazing fire phoenix and soared upward. Feng Qing and other phoenixes followed, surrounding the Bone Dragon.

The Bone Dragon circled the peak, Demonic Energy thickening. "Feng Clan? Good. We’ll settle old debts."

Its tail smashed the mountainside. The earth quaked as rocks tumbled toward the phoenixes. They dodged easily, closing in.

You You’s eyes widened. "Feng Rong! Don’t approach!"

He halted mid-strike. Figures erupted from the collapsing peak – seven smaller Bone Dragons. Feng Rong barely dodged, but other phoenixes staggered.

Eight Bone Dragons now loomed over Demon Ghost Mountain.

"Long Ting!" Feng Qing roared. "We’ll repay your betrayal!"

"Thunder Phoenixes are extinct." The lead Bone Dragon sneered. "The Demon Realm conquers today. I’ll reunite your clan in death!"

Seven Bone Dragons attacked. Dragon roars clashed with phoenix cries. Though outnumbered, the corrupted Bone Dragons overpowered the phoenixes. Yet the Feng Clan held them from the Mortal Realm.

You You accelerated the seal. Crystal energy flooded forth, formations nearly covering Demon Ghost Mountain. Demonic Energy retreated before the glowing patterns.

Long Ting noticed. "Resealing us? Never!" He dove toward You You.

"You You!" Feng Rong unleashed divine power, crimson flames engulfing the Bone Dragon.

Demonic Energy scattered under the assault. Trapped in fire, Long Ting roared. "Mere fire phoenix dares block me?" Black Demonic Energy exploded outward, extinguishing flames and surging toward You You.

Feng Rong materialized before her, wings spread wide. The dark energy struck full-force. His flames died. He fell.

"Feng Rong!"
