Chapter 335
by fanqienovelChapter 335: Gathering of the Gods
The moment the Divine Temple vanished, You You felt a stream of messages pouring into her mind from the crystal in her hand. Information about both the Demon Realm and Divine Realm flooded her thoughts, chaotic and overwhelming enough to make her dizzy.
She looked down at the crystal and realized it carried the Saint’s legacy. Instantly, she gained knowledge of the Six Realms’ laws, methods to reseal the Demon Realm, and how to reopen the Gate of the Divine Realm.
The Messenger of the Underworld had once explained that the Heavenly Gate had been sealed for ages, barring True Gods from entering the Three Realms. They could only send fragments of their divine sense via the Divine Calling Order, unable to descend personally.
But with the Demon Realm threatening invasion, the Divine Realm remained the strongest force among the Six Realms. Securing their aid would tip the scales in any coming conflict.
You You decided to delay her return and negotiate with the gods first.
“You want to gather the gods at the Hall of Truce to discuss the Demon Realm?” Yu Hao blinked at her, surprised.
“Yes,” she nodded. “Since I know how to reopen the Heavenly Gate, why not inform the gods? We can select trustworthy representatives from the lower realm. This solves the Immortal Realm’s teacher shortage and deters the Demon Realm.”
Involving the Divine Realm in the Three Realms’ education would yield faster results. Even if the Demon Realm attacked now, they’d stand a chance.
“But… there are thousands of gods. Should we summon them all?” Yu Hao hesitated.
“Just gather influential representatives—around a hundred, preferably more.” She added, “Xiuyuan said you’re the God of War, the strongest here. Since this concerns the Demon Realm, you can convince them, right?”
“Of course!” Yu Hao puffed his chest. “Though gods value solitude, I still command respect. I’ll send invitations—they’ll surely come!” He marched out confidently.
You You waited, planning her arguments.
Three days later…
Her eye twitched as she stared at the five figures in the hall. Most were faint divine projections. One was a bouncing wooden puppet labeled with its master’s name. Only Xiuyuan—still watering plants—was physically present, and only because the sword talisman bound him to construction duty.
“This… is your influence?” You You deadpanned at Yu Hao.
He scratched his neck. “Gods are… relaxed. The Divine Realm’s vast, and three days is too short—”
“If given more time, would they come?”
“…No.” Yu Hao slumped.
You You sighed. She’d overestimated a God of War who’d gotten his rear peppered with holes during his first lower realm trip. Maybe he’d won his title in a dice game.
“Enough.” She headed outside.
“Canceling the meeting?” Yu Hao called.
“No. I’ll invite them myself.”
“But how? You don’t know any—”
You You raised the crystal skyward. “Like this.”
Channeling her will, she activated the crystal. A golden pillar erupted, piercing the heavens. An ancient BOOM reverberated across the Divine Realm, reaching every god’s ears.
The sky trembled. A colossal white door materialized, towering beyond sight. Its mirror-smooth surface bore a blazing sun-like seal at the center.
“What’s that?!” Yu Hao and Xiuyuan staggered outside.
THUD. THUD.
The golden seal’s pressure crushed them to their knees. Awe flooded their minds—this was the sealed Gate of the Divine Realm itself!
Before they could react, You You gestured at the horizon. “They’re coming.”
Swaths of figures descended, filling the square until—
THUD-THUD-THUD—every god collapsed kneeling.
You You: “…”
Yu Hao: “…”
Xiuyuan: “…”
Gods: “…”
“Oops, forgot the gate’s anti-god seal.” She retracted the crystal. The pressure lifted as the seal faded.
The gods rose, bewildered, before rounding on Yu Hao.
“Yu Hao! Explain this door!”
“Was that Heavenly Sound from the gate?”
“What’s happening?”
“I didn’t summon it,” Yu Hao mumbled.
“I did.” You You’s voice boomed across the square. “My apologies for the abrupt invitation.”
She’d have preferred polite requests… but zero RSVPs demanded drastic measures.
