    Chapter 327: An Unexpected Fall

The two didn’t walk long in the Nether Path. In less than half an hour, they spotted light ahead that grew brighter, resembling an exit. Faint purple divine power drifted toward them from the other side.

“We’re here!” Yu Hao cheered, speeding up. “I wonder where the exit leads… ah!”

Before he finished speaking, a sudden push from behind sent them hurtling forward. Blinding white light flashed, and before their eyes could adjust, the ground vanished beneath their feet. They plummeted downward, realizing the exit opened above a cliff.

Damn! She knew that Messenger of the Underworld couldn’t be trusted!

You You instinctively reached for sword control, but Yu Hao acted faster. With a wave of his hand, he cast a spell, encasing them in a transparent bubble that slowed their fall.

“Close call.” Yu Hao sighed. “You You, are you okay?”

“Fine.” She glanced around, seeing only white mist below and stone walls nearby. “Where is this?”

“Not sure yet.” Yu Hao shook his head, steering the bubble downward. “Let’s head down and—” He froze mid-sentence.

    “What’s wrong?”

“Trouble.” His face paled. “My main body is recalling my clone. You need to—” He vanished mid-word, taking the bubble spell with him.

    Huh?

    Damn! Again?!

You You’s stomach dropped as she fell faster this time. Sword control was impossible now—the ground rushed up too quickly.

Little Flame, perched on her shoulder, burst into action. Red flames erupted, weaving a fiery net that caught her mid-air.

You You landed gently, warmth enveloping her. “Thanks, Little Flame.”

The flames shrank back into Little Flame, revealing a scorched medicinal field and a soot-covered figure nearby, reeking of burnt herbs…

    You You: “……”

    Little Flame: “……”

The field lay charred, smoke rising from blackened soil. The figure—clearly the field’s owner—coughed out smoke, gaping at the ruins.

“My… my divine herbs!” he croaked.

“I’m sorry!” You You blurted. “I fell from above and didn’t mean to—”

“You ruined centuries of work!” The man jabbed a shaking finger at her. “Pay for this!”

Little Flame flared, but You You shoved it back. “I’ll compensate you!”

“With what?” He sneered. “A little deity like you?”

She rummaged in her storage bag, producing a fruit. “A Moon-Eating Fruit?”

“A Moon-Eating Fruit?!” He snatched it, eyes wide. “From the Demon Realm?!”

“Yes, but it’s tainted by my presence. If you eat it—”

“Eat it? Fool!” White light glowed in his palm, dissolving the fruit until only a golden seed remained. “Planted here, it becomes an Extreme Sun Fruit—far more valuable!”

His anger faded. “Since you’ve offered this rare seed, I’ll let it go.”

    “Thank you, Divine Lord.”

“Now leave!” He waved her off, cleaning himself with a spell. Now visible as a stern man radiating divine power, he muttered, “If only Extreme Sun Fruit weren’t extinct here…”

“Want another?” You You pulled out more fruits. “I’ve got questions too.”

    “How many do you have?!”

    “About twenty?”

    “……”

    Twenty?!

Had she stripped the entire Moon-Eating Vine bare? And how did a weakling like her get these?!
