Chapter 6 We Are Even
The classroom echoed with He Donglin’s heart-wrenching wails, but apart from that, it was eerily quiet.
No one expected that the usually unassuming Fang Yu would have such a ruthless side.
He Donglin’s hand bones were crushed directly under Fang Yu’s foot!
After witnessing this, the other followers who had initially planned to ambush Fang Yu felt a chill in their hearts and dared not move.
“Teacher, hurry up! If you slow down, Fang Yu might get seriously injured!”
At that moment, footsteps and Liu Fatty’s voice came from outside the classroom.
Soon, Huang Hai and Liu Fatty entered through the back door of the classroom, and as soon as they stepped in, they saw Fang Yu stepping on He Donglin’s hand, the horrific scene of He Donglin writhing in pain.
This was completely contrary to what Liu Fatty had imagined; for a moment, he was dumbfounded, frozen in place.
Huang Hai quickly regained his composure, his face turning pale with anger. “What’s going on? What’s happening! Are you trying to turn the world upside down?”
Seeing Fang Yu remain unresponsive, Huang Hai quickly walked up to him, pointing and saying, “Fang Yu, how dare you hit a classmate? Move your foot now!”
Fang Yu glanced at Huang Hai and replied, “They attacked me first. They threw my desk and books to the back.”
“So what if they attacked first? You hitting someone is wrong! Move your foot immediately!” Huang Hai was so angry that his body trembled.
It should be noted that He Donglin was the one under Fang Yu’s foot!
He Donglin’s father, He Wencheng, was the owner of a local construction company, known for his explosive temper and having a large group of loyal subordinates.
If this matter wasn’t handled properly, not only would Fang Yu suffer, but Huang Hai would also bear the brunt of the anger!
“Fine.” Fang Yu moved his foot away.
Huang Hai let out a sigh of relief.
But before he could fully relax, “Bang!”
Fang Yu kicked He Donglin in the abdomen, sending him crashing into the back wall of the classroom, spitting out a mouthful of blood and fainting.
“After this kick, we’re even,” Fang Yu said calmly.
Seeing He Donglin’s miserable state, Huang Hai felt a wave of coldness rise from his feet.
He couldn’t imagine how He Wencheng would react upon seeing his precious son in such a condition.
“You…” Huang Hai pointed at the indifferent Fang Yu, so furious he could barely speak.
He never expected that the usually well-behaved Fang Yu would cause such a huge mess right before graduation!
“Quickly, carry He Donglin and Hu Tao to the infirmary!” Huang Hai shouted at the stunned students.
He Donglin’s followers quickly reacted, rushing forward to carry the two unconscious individuals out of the classroom.
Huang Hai turned around, glaring at Fang Yu, and said, “You, come with me to the office!”
Liu Fatty looked at Fang Yu, his eyes filled with disbelief and sadness.
He knew that Fang Yu’s trouble today would definitely not end well.
The best outcome would be Fang Yu getting expelled and having to pay for medical expenses.
The worst outcome would be Fang Yu facing He Wencheng’s wrath and disappearing from Jianghai City forever.
After Fang Yu left the classroom with Huang Hai, the classroom erupted into a heated discussion.
“Damn… Fang Yu is too fierce… he beat He Donglin into that state…”
“I used to think Fang Yu was so introverted that he wouldn’t dare say more than a few words, but I didn’t expect him to be so ruthless…”
Both boys and girls were discussing Fang Yu, and many felt a sense of relief beyond their shock.
He Donglin had been arrogant in class due to his family’s background, and many had long been displeased with him.
Today, Fang Yu beating He Donglin like this was something they had wanted to do but dared not.
“Heh, you guys actually think Fang Yu is impressive? He’s just an idiot! With graduation around the corner, he dares to hit a classmate; the minimum punishment is expulsion! He might even have it recorded in his file, preventing him from taking the college entrance exam in the future!”
“Moreover, He Donglin’s parents will definitely not let Fang Yu off the hook. I’ve met He Donglin’s dad a few times; he has a lot of influence in our area and a group of underlings. Once Fang Yu steps out of school today, who knows if he can even keep his life!” Jiang Yue sneered.
“To sum it up, after today, Fang Yu’s life is ruined. He won’t be able to take the college entrance exam and will face revenge from He Donglin’s family. Even if he doesn’t die, he’ll be crippled…” Jiang Yue’s deskmate, Xu Xiaona, added.
As they said this, the students in the class felt it was indeed the case.
However, Fang Yu had no ties with them; even if he got expelled or beaten to death, what did it have to do with them?
They were just relieved to see He Donglin getting beaten up.
In the office.
Huang Hai’s face was ashen, his hand trembling slightly as he held a cup of water.
“Fang Yu, I can’t handle this matter. I have to report it directly to the disciplinary office and let them deal with it. You… just hope for the best.”
Huang Hai said in a deep voice.
Fang Yu didn’t care at all.
He came to school just to pass the time and could leave at any moment; any punishment meant nothing to him.
He Donglin’s provocation had, in fact, brought him a long-lost sense of excitement after a long period of boredom.
Although Fang Yu had lived for thousands of years, he was still a Qi Refining stage cultivator without even a foundation establishment.
Essentially, Fang Yu was still a mortal, and as long as one was mortal, they would have their tempers.
Regardless of the vast difference in strength and experience between He Donglin and Fang Yu, when it was time to act, one had to act.
Not to mention, bullying the weak felt quite satisfying!
In the classroom.
As soon as Tang Xiaorou walked in, she saw the bloodstains at the back of the classroom, the overturned desks, and the scattered books all over the floor.
What happened?
Tang Xiaorou was puzzled and looked around at her classmates.
When these classmates saw Tang Xiaorou enter, they all fell silent, looking at her with strange expressions.
Tang Xiaorou returned to her seat and noticed that only a chair remained at Fang Yu’s spot, realizing that the desk at the back belonged to Fang Yu.
“What on earth happened?” Tang Xiaorou furrowed her brows, confused.
Behind her, Liu Fatty suddenly had a bright idea as he looked at Tang Xiaorou.
Fang Yu might still have a chance!
Then, Liu Fatty took Tang Xiaorou to the corridor and told her everything that had happened earlier.
“He… he actually crushed someone else’s hand bones?” Tang Xiaorou covered her mouth in disbelief.
“Yeah… we all heard the sound of the bones breaking. Thinking back on it now, it still gives me goosebumps… That guy Fang Yu looks pretty thin, but his kick was so powerful…” Liu Fatty said, still feeling a lingering fear.
Tang Xiaorou fell into deep thought.
For her, this was a great opportunity.
An opportunity to coerce Fang Yu into treating Old Tang’s illness!
“I understand now. I’ll find a way to ensure Fang Yu isn’t expelled,” Tang Xiaorou said to Liu Fatty.
“That would be great!” Liu Fatty exclaimed with joy.
Tang Xiaorou was the daughter of the Tang family; if she was willing to help, Fang Yu would definitely be saved!
In the disciplinary office.
Fang Yu stood before the head of the disciplinary office, Pan Qiang, while class teacher Huang Hai stood to the side.
“Fang Yu, we have already notified He Donglin’s father, and he is rushing over. Before he arrives, I want to know why you assaulted classmate He Donglin?” Pan Qiang questioned sternly.
“I already said, he attacked me first. He threw my desk to the back of the classroom, and when I asked him to move it back, he refused and even attacked me,” Fang Yu replied truthfully.
“He attacked you first? Then why is he the one injured now, while you are completely unharmed!?” Pan Qiang frowned.
“Simple, because I can fight better than him,” Fang Yu answered.
Pan Qiang slammed the table and stood up angrily, “Bullshit! You hit someone and act like it’s perfectly fine? Do you even look like a student? Like a teenager? I’ll call your guardians to see how they raised you!”
“I have no guardians, no need to call,” Fang Yu said.
“No guardians?” Pan Qiang looked at Huang Hai.
Huang Hai hesitated for a moment and said, “Director Pan, Fang Yu… indeed has no guardians. His file indicates he is an orphan raised by an elderly person, who passed away when he was in middle school.”
“So he’s an orphan; he should be even less likely to do this! How can you face the person who raised you? If that elder knows about this in the afterlife…” Pan Qiang continued to scold him, filled with anger.
Of course, the contents of Fang Yu’s file were all fabricated; the elderly person didn’t exist at all.
Moreover, Fang Yu didn’t want to listen to a person thousands of years younger than him lecturing him, so he interrupted, “Director Pan, just announce your disciplinary decision. I don’t have time for your nonsense.”
“You, you…” Pan Qiang was so furious he couldn’t find words, his face turning red.
