Chapter 33: The Dragon’s Reverse Scale!

“Three…” Fang Yu began to count down.

“Oh? You’re really putting on a show? Think you’re so impressive?” A strong-built boy stood up from his seat, walking towards Fang Yu with a mocking smile.

His name was Zhou Jinrong, an athlete who trained daily and was covered in muscles.

“Two…” Fang Yu ignored him.

“Damn it, everyone, speak up! I want to see what he can do to us!” Another boy stood up and shouted.

Several boys followed Zhou Jinrong, approaching Fang Yu.

“One.” Fang Yu put down the novel he was reading.

“We’re not going to shut up. What can you do about it? If you dare to lay a hand on me, I won’t be as forgiving as Young Master Yang. I won’t believe it until I knock out a few of your teeth!” Zhou Jinrong stood in front of Fang Yu, a provocative smile on his face.

“I’ve given you all a chance.” Fang Yu said, standing up and looking at Zhou Jinrong.

“Fuck you! What a joke!” Zhou Jinrong’s face twisted in rage as he grabbed a book and swung it at Fang Yu’s face.

Fang Yu remained unfazed, swatting the book away with his right hand.

Then, he raised his knee and struck Zhou Jinrong in the abdomen.

Fang Yu’s movements were incredibly fast; Zhou Jinrong didn’t even have time to react before he was hit hard in the stomach, letting out a pained shout.

Zhou Jinrong clutched his abdomen, bending over, feeling all his strength drain away, unable to muster any energy.

Fang Yu reached out, grabbing Zhou Jinrong by the collar and lifting him off the ground.

Zhou Jinrong, who was 1.85 meters tall and nearly 90 kilograms, was suspended in the air, unable to move.

The boys who had been following Zhou Jinrong had already retreated several meters in fear.

The other students were also stunned.

No one expected that the aggressive Zhou Jinrong would be dealt with so easily by Fang Yu.

“Anyone who makes noise around me again will end up like this.” Fang Yu said calmly.

In the distance, a boy snapped back to reality and shouted, “Fang Yu, you’re hitting classmates again! I’m going to tell the class leader…”

“Smack!”

Before he could finish, a book flew through the air and hit him squarely in the face.

The boy let out a scream, clutching his nose as blood poured out.

“Who else is unconvinced?” Fang Yu scanned the room, asking.

After witnessing the fate of Zhou Jinrong and the other boy, the surroundings fell silent, and no one dared to speak.

Just then, Zhao Shuang’er spoke up, “Fang Yu! Do you really think you can do whatever you want? You don’t get to be so arrogant in this class!”

In Zhao Shuang’er’s mind, the only one who could be so arrogant in class was Yang Xu.

Seeing so many classmates intimidated by Fang Yu, she felt unwilling and resentful.

“Oh? You’re not convinced?” Fang Yu casually tossed Zhou Jinrong to the ground and turned to Zhao Shuang’er.

Tang Xiaorou’s expression changed dramatically as she stepped in front of Zhao Shuang’er, angrily saying, “Fang Yu, you’re going too far! Do you want to lay a hand on Shuang’er?”

Fang Yu had already beaten Yang Xu yesterday, and now he wanted to lay a hand on Zhao Shuang’er—this was absolutely intolerable!

“I don’t necessarily have to lay a hand on her. I just hope she can keep her mouth shut and stop talking.” Fang Yu replied.

“Why should I shut up? Fang Yu, let me tell you! I’m not afraid of you! If you dare to lay a hand on me, my Yang Xu will never let you go!” Zhao Shuang’er said fearlessly.

“Your Yang Xu? What is he to me?” Fang Yu said indifferently, then reached out his hand towards Zhao Shuang’er.

“Fang Yu! Stop right there!” Tang Xiaorou screamed, blocking Zhao Shuang’er, her eyes reddening.

Zhao Shuang’er was her best friend, and she couldn’t let Fang Yu touch her!

Fang Yu’s expression remained unchanged.

He had already shown restraint by not laying a hand on Yang Xu yesterday, which was his last concession to Tang Xiaorou.

Now that Zhao Shuang’er was provoking him again, there was no way around it.

He wasn’t a saint; he had his limits.

Just at that critical moment, a knock at the classroom door broke the silence.

Everyone turned to look at the door, where their English teacher, Ding Ran, walked in.

“What happened, students?” Ding Ran looked at the encircled Fang Yu, her beautiful eyes filled with confusion.

No one spoke.

“If nothing’s wrong, please return to your seats. Class is about to start.” Ding Ran smiled.

As soon as she finished speaking, the class bell rang.

The students exchanged glances and silently returned to their seats.

Zhou Jinrong, who had fallen to the ground, also stood up, clutching his abdomen in pain, casting a fearful glance at Fang Yu before slowly walking back to his seat.

Zhao Shuang’er shot Fang Yu a furious glare before turning to leave.

Tang Xiaorou wiped her tears from the corners of her eyes, casting a disappointed look at Fang Yu before sitting back down.

Fang Yu had no intention of continuing the confrontation; for him, as long as it was quiet, that was enough.

Then he could continue reading his novel.

…

Yang’s residence.

Yang Xu lay bored on his bed, playing on his phone.

Suddenly, a call came in from his good friend, Qiu Zuo.

“Young Master Yang, I saw you didn’t go to school today on your Moments. What are you up to?” Qiu Zuo asked.

“What else? Just lying at home.” Yang Xu replied irritably.

“Oh? So boring? Let’s go out for drinks tonight. I know a few girls with amazing figures!” Qiu Zuo said.

Recently, Yang Xu had been spending too much time with Zhao Shuang’er, and he was indeed getting tired of it.

So, Yang Xu replied, “Where are we going to drink?”

“Where else? Just go to the Deep Blue Club your family runs.” Qiu Zuo said.

“Alright, what time?” Yang Xu asked.

“Six or seven o’clock. We’ll have dinner first, then drink a bit, dance a little, heh heh… By the way, I brought back some new drugs from abroad… They’re really something. I heard they can make a person lose consciousness in just five minutes, but they won’t fall asleep; they’ll just be in a state of weakness and won’t remember what happened afterward… This drug is way better than regular date-rape drugs… Damn, I forgot, you, Young Master Yang, wouldn’t need something like that. Those girls would practically want to eat you alive when they see you…” Qiu Zuo said.

The speaker was careless, but the listener was attentive.

Make someone forget what happened before?

Yang Xu’s mind suddenly flashed with the pure and beautiful image of Tang Xiaorou.

“Are you sure that after taking this drug, they won’t remember what happened before?” Yang Xu asked.

“Of course… These drugs have been tested. If they didn’t have that effect, how could they be sold for such a high price? I spent quite a bit of money on this batch!” Qiu Zuo said.

“…Alright, bring the drugs this afternoon. I need to use them.” Yang Xu said, his eyes filled with lewd intent.

…

During the afternoon break, Zhao Shuang’er approached Tang Xiaorou again.

“Xiaorou, Yang Xu asked me to take you to the Deep Blue Club he runs after school. I heard they have all kinds of entertainment facilities; it’s really fun.” Zhao Shuang’er said.

Tang Xiaorou had no interest in going and shook her head, saying, “I don’t want to go. I feel a bit unwell and want to go home and rest early.”

“Don’t! I haven’t been to the Deep Blue Club yet… Come with me, I’m really bored alone…” Zhao Shuang’er said, pulling Tang Xiaorou’s hand and acting cute.

Tang Xiaorou wasn’t interested, but she felt guilty towards Zhao Shuang’er and Yang Xu, so refusing again seemed inappropriate.

“Well… okay, I’ll go with you for a little while.” Tang Xiaorou agreed.

“Great!” Zhao Shuang’er was delighted and shot Fang Yu a glare before skipping away.

Fang Yu had overheard their conversation.

After thinking for a moment, he spoke up, “If I were you, I wouldn’t go.”

Tang Xiaorou turned around immediately upon hearing Fang Yu’s words, gritting her teeth and saying, “Fang Yu! What do you mean by that? Do you think you’re always right? Do you think the world revolves around you?”

In Tang Xiaorou’s view, Fang Yu was trying to sow discord between her and Zhao Shuang’er.

What was wrong with Zhao Shuang’er inviting her to the Deep Blue Club?

Did it have to be that opposing Fang Yu and the whole world was the only right thing to do?

Facing Tang Xiaorou’s questioning, Fang Yu remained silent.

He had already given a warning; if Tang Xiaorou wouldn’t listen, there was nothing he could do.

After school in the afternoon, Tang Xiaorou left with Zhao Shuang’er.

Perhaps because of Fang Yu’s words, she felt a strange sense of rebellion.

You don’t want me to go? Then I will go! Just to annoy you!

…

Back at the first floor of the courtyard, Fang Yu saw Yu Yueyue.

Today, Yu Yueyue didn’t have rehearsal after school, so she returned early.

“Where’s Aunt Wang?” Fang Yu asked.

“My mom found a job and went out for an interview.” Yu Yueyue replied.

It seemed there would be no chance to mooch a meal tonight.

Fang Yu felt a bit disappointed and went upstairs.

“Fang Yu, wait a moment!” Yu Yueyue ran into the house and came back out with a string of candied hawthorns.

“I saw an old man selling candied hawthorns by the street. This big bunch was only five yuan, so I bought two bunches. This one is for you.”

Fang Yu took the candied hawthorns from Yu Yueyue’s hand and said, “Thank you.”

Holding the candied hawthorns, Fang Yu went upstairs.

Actually, he wasn’t particularly interested in sweets, especially not in such snacks.

Fang Yu took out his key and unlocked the door.

At the moment he pushed the door open, a chill ran down his spine!

This was a warning of impending danger!

“Boom!”

The next second, a burst of flames erupted in the living room, followed by a deafening explosion.

The two-story small building collapsed instantly!

In just a few seconds, the small building turned into a pile of rubble.

“Mission accomplished.”

Several kilometers away, in a hotel room, a man closed his laptop, preparing to leave.

He didn’t even need to check on Fang Yu’s fate.

With the power of that level of bomb, as long as the opponent wasn’t a martial arts master, survival was impossible.

…

In the rubble, a figure stood up.

It was Fang Yu.

In his arms, he held a girl covered in blood.

When the explosion occurred, Fang Yu had reacted quickly, almost instantly dropping to the first floor to shield Yu Yueyue with his body.

However, he was still a moment too late.

Yu Yueyue was struck on the head by a piece of debris and fainted, her right leg also crushed by a slab of stone.

The explosion had scared the few remaining residents nearby out of their homes to see what had happened.

“What happened? What happened?”

Just as Wang Yan returned home, she saw her house had turned into ruins, her mind going blank.

Fang Yu noticed Wang Yan and walked over, carrying Yu Yueyue.

“Yueyue!” Wang Yan saw Yu Yueyue’s bloodied face and nearly fainted from shock.

“Aunt Wang, calm down. Call an ambulance first. Yueyue is fine; she just has a mild concussion…” Fang Yu said.

Wang Yan looked at Yu Yueyue, covered in blood, and couldn’t calm down at all.

Tears streamed down her face, but she knew Fang Yu was right; she had to call an ambulance first.

Fang Yu laid Yu Yueyue on the ground, placing his right hand on her forehead, channeling a stream of true energy to seal her wounds and stop the bleeding.

Yu Yueyue’s head was indeed not severely injured, but… her right foot was already crushed.

Fang Yu could help her set the bone, but it might not heal completely.

Such permanent damage wasn’t easy to treat. Yu Yueyue might have difficulty walking for the rest of her life.

“Aunt Wang, don’t panic. Once the ambulance arrives, just take Yueyue to the hospital.” Fang Yu said to Wang Yan.

“Then, what about you? Are you okay… Xiaoyu?” Wang Yan asked, her voice trembling as she looked at Fang Yu’s tattered clothes.

“I’m fine. I’ll be back soon.” Fang Yu said calmly.

As he spoke, a red glint flashed in his eyes, but Wang Yan didn’t notice.

“I haven’t been this angry in a long time… Yang family.” Fang Yu’s previously dark eyes turned completely crimson.

Having lived for nearly five thousand years, his temperament had been smoothed out, and he was indifferent to many things.

But even a dragon has its reverse scales; touch them, and it will be enraged!

The Yang family could deal with him, but they couldn’t harm those around him.

“Yang Xu… Deep Blue Club.” Fang Yu’s eyes flickered with red light, his expression indifferent as he walked forward.

Tonight, no one from the Yang family would escape!
