Chapter 19: I Am Fang Yu
“That’s about it, Yueyue, go back to your early study.” Fang Yu said to Yueyue.
Yueyue nodded and returned to the classroom.
Fang Yu turned and went upstairs, and the group of boys and girls who had come down to watch the excitement dispersed in a hurry.
Jiang Yue glared at Fang Yu’s back, gritting her teeth in hatred.
She had never been coerced like this in her life! And in front of so many people, she felt utterly humiliated!
“I won’t let this go!” Jiang Yue’s teeth clicked together.
When Fang Yu returned to the classroom, the counselor, Huang Hai, had already arrived.
A few of Jiang Yue’s close friends were surrounding Huang Hai, chattering away and pointing fingers at Fang Yu.
Seeing Fang Yu, Liu Fatty hurried over and said, “Fang Yu, you’ve really gotten yourself into big trouble this time.”
“How is it big trouble?” Fang Yu retorted.
“Jiang Yue is very popular among the girls. And among the boys, there are quite a few of He Donglin’s followers who have been looking for a chance to cause you trouble! Now they will definitely team up against you!” Liu Fatty said anxiously.
“They can’t do anything to me, just watch,” Fang Yu patted Liu Fatty’s shoulder and said.
“Fang Yu, come here!” Huang Hai called out as soon as he saw Fang Yu.
Fang Yu walked over.
“Where’s Jiang Yue?” Huang Hai frowned and asked.
“I don’t know,” Fang Yu replied.
As soon as he finished speaking, Jiang Yue walked in through the front door of the classroom.
“Yueyue, are you okay?” Several close friends immediately surrounded her.
Jiang Yue covered her still stinging cheek, glaring at Fang Yu with resentment as she walked up to Huang Hai.
“Jiang Yue, did Fang Yu really hit you?” Huang Hai asked in a deep voice.
Jiang Yue’s eyes were red, and she nodded heavily, saying, “He hit me, my face still hurts, and then he grabbed my arm hard, forcing me to go downstairs and apologize to others.”
“Apologize?” Huang Hai’s brows furrowed tightly.
“He falsely accused me of bullying a freshman girl, but I never did such a thing; many people can testify to that. Fang Yu is just deliberately looking for trouble, trying to make me look bad!” Jiang Yue said, tears streaming down her face.
Although Jiang Yue’s looks were far inferior to Tang Xiaorou’s, she had previously been considered the class beauty.
As she cried, many boys who secretly had crushes on her felt a pang of sympathy.
Huang Hai looked at Fang Yu and asked sternly, “Fang Yu, why did you hit someone!?”
In Huang Hai’s view, Fang Yu, relying on the protection of the Tang family, had been bullying classmates in class for a week, which was extremely arrogant!
Such a morally corrupt student should be expelled!
Having committed two major offenses in a week, even the Tang family couldn’t protect him!
“I don’t know what she’s talking about; I never laid a hand on her,” Fang Yu said.
Huang Hai’s expression changed; he didn’t expect Fang Yu to deny it outright.
“You…” Jiang Yue glared at Fang Yu, about to speak.
“If you don’t believe me, let her take her hand away,” Fang Yu interjected.
“Fang Yu, do you still want to quibble? We all saw you hit her!” a boy shouted.
“Exactly, do you think we’re blind? Or do you think you can cover the sky with one hand?”
“Counselor, take him to the academic affairs office! Expel him!”
Just as Liu Fatty had said, many people in the class began to attack Fang Yu.
Huang Hai remained silent, just watching Fang Yu.
“Take your hand away, and you’ll understand,” Fang Yu said calmly.
“Fine, I’ll take my hand away and see what you have to say,” Jiang Yue said, her cheek still burning with pain, and it must have swollen significantly.
She originally didn’t want so many people in the class to see her swollen cheek, but to testify against Fang Yu, she was willing to go all out.
Jiang Yue moved her hand away.
A murmur of confusion arose around them.
Because there were no marks on Jiang Yue’s face at all; her makeup was still exquisite.
What was going on?
The people around were stunned.
They had clearly seen Fang Yu hit her just moments ago.
Logically speaking, even if Jiang Yue’s cheek wasn’t swollen, there should at least be a handprint, right?
However, there was not a single mark on Jiang Yue’s face.
As a result, their accusations became meaningless.
Seeing the reaction of those around her, Jiang Yue’s heart sank.
She quickly took out her phone and checked her cheek with the front camera.
“Wh-what’s going on…” Jiang Yue was stunned; her cheek clearly hurt!
“Counselor, given this situation, I shouldn’t need to explain further, right?” Fang Yu smiled at Huang Hai.
Huang Hai’s brows were tightly knitted, and his expression was dark.
Now, he couldn’t figure out the situation either.
Was Jiang Yue colluding with the students in the class to slander Fang Yu, or was Fang Yu forcefully denying it?
But if what Jiang Yue said was true, then why were there no marks on her face at all?
This didn’t make sense!
“Counselor, I don’t know why my face… but everyone saw him hit me! You must punish him; otherwise, he will definitely escalate his behavior in the future!” Jiang Yue was both angry and anxious, jumping up and down, her words becoming incoherent.
Huang Hai looked at Fang Yu, then at Jiang Yue, and snorted coldly.
“You two, take care of yourselves!” After saying that, Huang Hai angrily left the classroom.
Seeing Huang Hai leave, Jiang Yue was furious, her face pale with anger.
Her cheek still burned with pain, and she felt an endless resentment in her heart.
But she couldn’t do anything to Fang Yu!
Fang Yu glanced around at the students, smiling slightly.
Dealing with this group of kids who had only lived for a few years didn’t even require him to think.
Fang Yu walked up to Jiang Yue and said, “This matter ends here. I hope you don’t think about getting revenge on Yueyue; otherwise, He Donglin’s fate will be yours.”
Meeting Fang Yu’s cold gaze, Jiang Yue’s heart trembled, and the vicious words she was about to spit out were all swallowed back.
Returning to her seat, Tang Xiaorou looked at Fang Yu with curiosity and whispered, “Fang Yu, how did you do that? You clearly…”
“If you really want to know, I can demonstrate it; just stick your face out,” Fang Yu said.
“Absolutely not!” Tang Xiaorou stuck out her tongue and shrank back.
That slap wasn’t some profound technique; it was just a use of internal strength.
…
In the afternoon after school, Fang Yu and Tang Xiaorou left the classroom together.
When they reached the school gate, Tang Xiaorou suddenly spotted a familiar figure across the street.
“Isn’t that Shuang’er?”
At that moment, Zhao Shuang’er was smiling as she got into a convertible sports car.
And sitting in the driver’s seat was Yang Xu.
The instant Tang Xiaorou saw Yang Xu, her expression changed.
How did Shuang’er become so familiar with Yang Xu?
She had clearly told Zhao Shuang’er more than once that Yang Xu was not a good person.
While Tang Xiaorou was still in shock, Yang Xu had already driven away with Zhao Shuang’er.
“I must ask Shuang’er about this tomorrow,” Tang Xiaorou thought to herself.
Half an hour later, Fang Yu arrived at the Tang family home.
Tang Mingde was sitting in the hall, facing a middle-aged man wearing gold-rimmed glasses; the two seemed to be discussing something.
Behind the middle-aged man stood a young man dressed in white martial attire.
This young man caught Fang Yu’s attention; he looked only about twenty-five or twenty-six but was already a ninth-level practitioner in the Qi Refining stage.
Among mortals, this young man could definitely be considered a martial arts genius.
“Doctor Fang, you’re here,” Tang Mingde said as soon as he saw Fang Yu, immediately standing up.
The middle-aged man with gold-rimmed glasses looked at Fang Yu with curiosity.
The young man standing behind him changed his expression slightly upon seeing Fang Yu.
Wasn’t this the person Miss Yang instructed him to deal with?
Immediately, the young man whispered something to the middle-aged man.
After listening, the middle-aged man’s gaze toward Fang Yu became meaningful.
“Oh, I forgot to introduce, this is the head of the Yang family, Yang Shaorong. He came to discuss some matters with me today,” Tang Mingde introduced Fang Yu.
“This is the Doctor Fang I mentioned earlier, Fang Yu,” Tang Mingde then introduced Yang Shaorong.
“Oh, it’s him. He looks quite young,” Yang Shaorong squinted slightly, looking at Fang Yu.
“Heroes emerge from youth; I used to not believe there were geniuses like Doctor Fang in the world, but now I do,” Tang Mingde said.
“Is he really that impressive?” Yang Shaorong looked at Fang Yu, his tone somewhat strange.
At this moment, Tang Xiaorou tugged at Fang Yu and whispered, “Let’s go upstairs and sit for a while; we’ll come down after they finish talking.”
“Xiaorou, it’s been a while,” Yang Shaorong spoke up at this moment.
“Xiaorou, you didn’t greet your Uncle Yang!” Tang Mingde scolded.
“Uncle Yang,” Tang Xiaorou said reluctantly.
“Old Tang, your daughter is getting more and more beautiful. We had a verbal engagement before; it should still count, right? Haha…” Yang Shaorong laughed heartily.
“Sigh, nowadays, young people don’t follow the arrangements of us elders when it comes to marriage. I’ve thought it through; I won’t force Xiaorou; she can do as she likes,” Tang Mingde sighed and said.
“Haha, that’s right. We won’t force it, but we can facilitate it. In the future, I’ll have my son Yang Xu spend more time with your daughter; who knows, they might hit it off?” Yang Shaorong laughed.
“Dad, let’s go upstairs and sit for a while; we’ll come down after you finish talking,” Tang Xiaorou said, unable to listen any longer.
“Okay, you take Doctor Fang upstairs to sit for a while,” Tang Mingde said.
“No need, I should be leaving soon; I have to go back to the group for a meeting,” Yang Shaorong said, glancing at his watch and standing up.
Tang Mingde also stood up and said, “Mr. Yang, I won’t keep you for dinner then.”
“Hehe, there will be plenty of opportunities in the future,” Yang Shaorong laughed, then as if remembering something, turned to the young man in white and said, “This is one of my juniors; I brought him out to see the world.”
“You and Doctor Fang are both young talents; you should communicate more. Go shake hands,” Yang Shaorong said to the young man in white.
The young man in white nodded and walked up to Fang Yu, extending his hand.
“Hello, my name is Bai Zhan.”
Fang Yu reached out and shook Bai Zhan’s hand.
A surge of immense strength came over.
Oh? Want to play this game?
Fang Yu’s lips curled slightly as he said:
“I am Fang Yu.”
