Chapter 441: The Enemy of the Pit Lord
"How is that possible," Molofeel said in surprise, "Azgath is a deputy and jailer of Kil’jaeden, with his own world in the Twisting Nether, occupying a huge fortress, guarding countless demon criminals who disobey the Legion’s orders… He is a high-ranking officer of the Burning Legion."
"Do you remember the magic we practiced last time?" Jesse said, "The one where I guided a meteor from the sky, I used it to smash him to death."
"That Shadow Magic is indeed powerful… but…" Molofeel frowned, "How is that possible?!"
"That demon didn’t really hurt me," Jesse said, "I was almost killed by the backlash of the shadow power I guided myself, saved by a group of people after a long time."
Molofeel nodded, "So that’s why Zardeth said you became a hero, helping defend the castle from the invading Annihilan Lord?"
"And not just any, it was Azgath," Molofeel frowned, "Kil’jaeden and Archimonde rarely send such commanders to invade a world, unless they consider the world strong enough to merit attention, yet you directly killed one."
"Perhaps you will directly provoke Kil’jaeden’s wrath!"
"And he, powerless… Ha! Lost the Dark Portal… he can’t invade this world anymore."
Molofeel hugged Jesse tightly and said, "Quick, master, I want to taste the flavor of the Annihilan killer, I can’t wait…master!"
Jesse grabbed her arm that was about to touch below and said, "Can you calm down a bit, I still have things to do…darn it."
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Molofeel stretched out her long tongue and licked the sweat on Jesse’s neck, whispering, "This is good…"
Jesse pushed her away and wiped the slippery fluid on her neck, muttering, "I really can’t believe you…"
Molofeel licked her lips and said, "I have never encountered anyone who could defeat this kind of demon, or any other existence…anything! Kill me now…master, please, I want to be killed by a demon slayer who has defeated Annihilan…use your demon sword to cut open my chest, take out my tender heart, let me watch you eat it before I leave this world, hmm…ah…just the thought is making me weak…"
As she spoke, the succubus’s eyes became mesmerized on their own…
"Hold on a moment," Jesse asked, "Tell me, where did Ursula go?"
Molofeel slowly removed her fingers from her lips and glanced to the side, saying, "She’s in the room, but she should be sleeping."
"How can she sleep so soundly?" Jesse said, "I thought she wasn’t here, we are talking loudly over here and she’s not waking up?"
"Because I told her to sleep." The succubus raised her finger and said, "She is the master’s friend, so I can help with a small favor, right?"
Jesse nodded and said, "Alright, you wait outside, I will go in and check on her."
"As you wish." Molofeel smiled.
Jesse entered the Alchemy Room and saw Ursula lying peacefully on the mat.
Jesse didn’t sleep much last night in Goldshire, and now watching Ursula sleep so peacefully made him feel a bit sleepy too.
"Jesse?"
A voice nearby made him instantly alert again.
Jesse sat up and looked at Ursula, realizing she was awake and looking at him.
"Ursula, I didn’t mean to wake you up."
Ursula didn’t speak, instead she stood up, sighed, walked over to a nearby cabinet, searched for a while and found a small bottle of medicine to drink.
She leaned against the cabinet, waited quietly for a moment, turned around and saw Jesse, immediately frowned and sighed quietly.
Jesse immediately understood what was going on.
"I truly… Ursula," Jesse said.
Alchemist walked over suspiciously, touched Jesse’s face, the doubt in her eyes turned into recognition immediately.
Jesse said, "I just arrived in Stormwind this morning, it took me almost two weeks to travel from Nethergarde to here…"
Ursula hugged Jesse’s head tightly, whispered, "You’re finally back, Jesse. I thought the sleeping potion I took two days ago was of poor quality and made me hallucinate."
Jesse was buried in her chest, smelling the familiar herbal scent, looking at this small Alchemy Room, reminiscing about the past two months, he felt a sense of surrealism.
"Your money, those books, and papers are with me, Jesse," Ursula whispered, "Zardeth said you might be dead…if Molofeel hadn’t told me you were okay, I wouldn’t have known what to do."
"I’m not saying I’m definitely okay," Jesse patted her waist and said, "Don’t worry, Ursula. The mage from Wizard’s Sanctum might have already been in my room. If it weren’t for them being here, those two demons wouldn’t know where to go. Thank you for helping me accommodate them."
"It could also be from Dalaran," Ursula said. "Zardeth mentioned that many Dalaran mages have been appearing in Stormwind recently. At first, we thought they were here to help guard this place, to prevent demons from sneaking in behind the walls. It could be those mages who entered your room."
Jesse nodded and said, "So in the future when I come to The Slaughtered Lamb, I need to be even more careful than before."
"This time coming back, you should be able to stay in Stormwind for a long time, right, Jesse?" Ursula leaned back on his chair and said.
Jesse said, "I’ll be taking a boat to Lordaeron tomorrow to visit my parents. It will probably take about a month before I can come back, Ursula, I’m sorry…"
Ursula sighed and said, "Okay, just don’t let your parents worry. But since you’re going to Lordaeron, could you help me deliver a letter to Ambermill?"
"Of course," Jesse said. "I’m not planning to go to Dalaran this time, but I should pass by there."
"That’s great, then it won’t be too much trouble for you," Ursula rummaged through her storage chest behind her.
Jesse asked, "Did you check on how the treant over in Lumere’s area is doing?"
"I went to see." Ursula said, "It’s still too small to tell anything, but I do think it looks different from the Mire Beast in the wetlands, lighter in color, more yellow. She set up a dry environment similar to a desert as you suggested, but I don’t know if it will work out in the end."
"Then we’ll just have to wait patiently."
Jesse stood up, took her package from the top of the cabinet, removed the scroll containing Gorefiend’s memories, then opened and organized the Demonic materials written by imp, setting them aside. She said, "Ursula, while I’m away, you can show these materials to the other members of the Dagger Association. These are materials Saenor wrote for learning Demonic."
"No problem." Ursula handed him the letter, saying, "Before you go, let me check your wounds."
"Huh?" Jesse said, "I should be fine…"
"You’ve lost weight and you still carry the scent of demons and shadow corruption. I won’t feel at ease without checking."
"It’s… it’s the problem with the clothes from Nethergarde…"
"Why are you still shy with me?"
