Chapter 12: Sowing Discord
Knowing that Ye Chen was joking, Xiao Churan didn’t take it to heart. She walked to the side and dialed Wang Dongxue’s number.
Soon, the call connected.
Wang Dongxue’s pleasant voice came through, “Hello, Ms. Xiao.”
“Hello, Vice Director Wang. I have a matter I’d like your help with,” Xiao Churan said, feeling a bit shy.

Xiao Hailong quickly said, “The reason Churan was able to secure the Dihao contract is that Zhang Wenhao from the Zhang family helped her behind the scenes. I heard that Zhang Wenhao visited her home yesterday! Today, Dihao Group signed a contract with us—what a coincidence! I suspect it’s because she slept with Zhang Wenhao!”
Old Lady Xiao’s expression turned angry, “Is what you’re saying true?”
