Volume 1 + Chapter 21: Bullying The School Beauty Maid
“For a disobedient little maid, it won’t do if I don’t punish her properly.”
At this moment, Bai Yuxuan pressed Ouyang Qianxue’s arms down with both hands, gradually bringing her face closer to his.
“Don’t you dare mess around! I’ll scream!” Ouyang Qianxue panicked, his expression flustered.
“Oh? But there’s only the two of us here. Even if you scream your lungs out, no one will come to save you.”
After saying this, Bai Yuxuan lightly blew a breath against Ouyang Qianxue’s ear.
“Ah~!”
Instantly, Ouyang Qianxue’s cheeks flushed bright red.
“What a lovely sound, Miss School Beauty. I never knew you were so sensitive. Hahaha!”
“You—!” Seeing Bai Yuxuan’s smug grin, Ouyang Qianxue burned with anger.
“Don’t push your luck!”
With that, Ouyang Qianxue lifted a leg and delivered a downward chop, slamming it straight onto Bai Yuxuan’s shoulder. The impact forced Bai Yuxuan back several steps until she collided with a bookshelf.
“Ah, I forgot—Miss School Beauty has trained in martial arts. But judging from your moves, at best, you’ve only learned basic self-defense.”
As she spoke, Bai Yuxuan used her shoulder to lift Ouyang Qianxue’s leg, effortlessly standing up.
“What?! How is she this strong?!”
Ouyang Qianxue stared in disbelief. Despite being biologically male, Bai Yuxuan could easily hoist his leg like it was nothing.
“For a mischievous kitten, a proper lesson is in order.”
Bai Yuxuan took another step forward, forcing Ouyang Qianxue back onto the chair. With one leg still propped on Bai Yuxuan’s shoulder, their position became even more embarrassing.
“Hmm?”
The earlier collision with the bookshelf had knocked several books to the floor, and one in particular caught Bai Yuxuan’s eye.
“The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber?”
She glanced at Ouyang Qianxue’s slender leg resting on her shoulder.
“Haha, I know how to deal with you now.” A wicked grin spread across her face.
“Y-You… what are you planning?!”
Ouyang Qianxue struggled fiercely, but with one leg lifted, breaking free became even harder.
“Remember what Zhang Wuji did to Zhao Min in the dungeon in The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber?”
With that, Bai Yuxuan swiftly removed Ouyang Qianxue’s shoe, then yanked off his sock, revealing a pale, delicate foot.
“Don’t tell me—!”
“That’s right.”
Bai Yuxuan lightly traced a finger down Ouyang Qianxue’s sole.
“Wah—!”
An electric sensation shot from his foot straight through his entire body.
“You damn—!”
Ouyang Qianxue tried to sit up and fight back.
“Still resisting, huh?”
Bai Yuxuan switched to her pinky finger, wiggling it teasingly against his sole.
“Ah~! S-Stop… stop tickling!”
Ouyang Qianxue thrashed his head side to side, desperate to break free, but the difference in strength left everything but his head immobilized.
“Hmm, just using my hand isn’t stimulating enough. Ah, I know!”
Bai Yuxuan shifted slightly, reaching for a penholder on the desk and pulling out a calligraphy brush.
“You bastard—what are you planning now?!”
Ouyang Qianxue stared in horror at the brush in her hand.
“Calling me a bastard? Didn’t I tell you to call me Master?”
She gently brushed the tip against Ouyang Qianxue’s pristine sole.
“N-No! I-I was wrong… Master! P-Please spare me!”
“Haha, guess what character I’m writing on your foot. Get it right, and I’ll let you go.”
With that, Bai Yuxuan continued tracing the brush.
Twenty minutes later, Bai Yuxuan finally stopped, having grown tired. At some point, she had even swapped the brush for a feather. Only then did she notice that Ouyang Qianxue beneath her was flushed, a single glistening tear at the corner of his eye—like a pitiful maiden bullied by a tyrant.
“Ahem… I might’ve gone too far. Hope he’s okay.”
Ten minutes later, Ouyang Qianxue finally recovered. The moment he opened his eyes, he angrily pointed at Bai Yuxuan.
“Y-You… I’ll get my revenge for this one day!”
“Seems like you’re fine. Well, it’s getting late, so let’s prepare dinner. Your duties as a maid aren’t over yet.”
“I don’t need you to tell me that!”
Ouyang Qianxue stormed toward the kitchen, but the earlier overstimulation left one of his legs numb, causing him to nearly stumble.
“Careful.” A hand steadied him.
“I don’t need your fake kindness!” He slapped Bai Yuxuan’s hand away and marched off.
“By the way, do you even have ingredients? Can’t cook without them.”
“Don’t worry about that. I called my secretary yesterday to stock the fridge.”
“Got it. Any dietary restrictions? Like, can’t handle spicy food?”
“Nope. If I said I couldn’t, tonight’s dishes would probably be drowning in chili, huh?”
“Tch.”
“You just clicked your tongue! You were totally planning that!”
“I’ll even poison the food! See if you dare eat it!”
“Alright, enough joking… If possible, I’d like to try some home-style dishes.”
“Home-style? Didn’t expect a rich young master like you to crave that.”
“Well, it’s precisely because I don’t usually get to eat it that I want to try.”
“Fine, have it your way.”
With that, Ouyang Qianxue entered the kitchen. His skills were remarkably polished—ingredients sliced paper-thin at lightning speed, all prepped in under ten minutes.
His cooking technique left Bai Yuxuan dazzled. From stir-frying to seasoning, every motion flowed seamlessly. In less than half an hour, a table full of sumptuous home-style dishes was laid out before her.
“Not going to try it?” Ouyang Qianxue crossed his arms, puffing out his nonexistent chest proudly.
“Then I won’t hold back.”
Bai Yuxuan picked up a piece of cumin-spiced beef. The moment it touched her tongue, an explosion of flavor overwhelmed her.
(W-What’s this?! How is beef this tender?!)
Eagerly, she sampled the other dishes—each one just as impressive.
Her gaze shifted to Ouyang Qianxue.
(This level of housework… this cooking skill…)
“Suddenly, making you my maid for just two days feels like a waste.”
Regret tinged Bai Yuxuan’s voice.
