Chapter 52: Together

Cancan used all her strength to drag Big Green to the edge of Qixia Pond. She sat down gasping for breath and unable to move, looking at the clear water. Seeing the gruesome wound on her shoulder, Big Green felt sorry and said, "Maybe you could kick me down with one foot."

Cancan was surprised for a moment and then asked, "Really? Can I?"

Big Green nodded, "Yes."

At this moment, Cancan’s hair was messy, her pretty face was covered in dirt, her clothes were wrinkled and dirty, and her shoulder was injured. She looked pitiful.

Cancan thought for a moment and realized she was not strong enough with just her left hand. She decided to follow Big Green’s advice and quickly mustered up her courage. She stood up and kicked Big Green into Qixia Pond. As she saw him disappear instantly, Cancan also jumped into the pond.

Some small fish were swimming around in the water, but as soon as Cancan jumped in, they revealed sharp teeth and hesitated to approach her.

After swimming for an unknown amount of time, a white light shone down. Soon, Cancan reached the surface and gasped for air. She saw Big Green floating on the water, almost lifeless except for a faint smile. Cancan almost thought he was just a corpse.

She tried to use magic to make Big Green come back to shore, but her magic didn’t work. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t succeed. Cancan tried to swim to Big Green, but before she reached him, Big Green suddenly flew back to shore. Cancan was surprised to see Martial Uncle Mu Bai waiting there. Mu Bai gestured for Cancan to bring Big Green to him. When Mu Bai saw Big Green’s injuries and Cancan’s disheveled appearance, he hesitated and asked, "Are you both okay?"

Cancan shook her head and said optimistically, "We’re okay. Martial Uncle Mu Bai, let’s go find Hua Qing. I have Snowflake Glass to give to him."

Mu Bai was stunned by Cancan’s serious expression, and for a moment, he saw Xian Yue from five hundred years ago. Despite being an immortal for many years, Mu Bai felt a hint of emotion in his eyes. They soon arrived at a secluded cave, where they found Yu Xiu holding a sword, looking very alert.
