Chapter 3: Everything Has Just Begun
The scene suddenly fell silent; the valley after the rain was quiet and still. Counting the captain, there were still six men in black, all of whom stared in shock at Yun Yi. In their hearts, this young man was no longer the useless young master they had chased for ten days.
This is a demon, a bloodthirsty devil.
The bodies on the ground filled the living with fear; the smell of blood assaulted their senses. Though they were used to death, they had never truly understood it. They did not know if they would also fall down in the next moment.
No one took action; no one dared to act!
"If you won’t take action, then I will."
Yun Yi’s lips curled upwards, forming a cruel smile.
In the next moment, Yun Yi moved like a fierce tiger leaping from the mountain.
The black energy around him surged, and in an instant, he was in front of one man, his cold battle knife slicing across. The man in black was terrified and tried to block it, but it was too late.
Thud!
With one powerful strike, Yun Yi slashed with great strength, and the special sword made for the noble family was incredibly sharp, cutting the man in black in half at the waist.
The man in black looked terrified, staring at the blood spraying from his waist, and then his upper body fell away.
Before he died, he saw his lower body twitching and the organs spilling out from his body.
Yun Yi jumped up again and charged at another person not far away.
"You little rascal."
The captain shouted loudly, quickly moving to block the attack, swinging his sword at Yun Yi.
"Hmph! You’ve come at a good time. Seventh grade of the Open Spirit Realm? Let me see how strong you are."
Yun Yi was in mid-air, gripping the sword tightly, and struck down fiercely.
Clang!
Two battle knives violently clashed together, creating a shocking scene.
The black captain felt as if he had been struck by a giant mountain. The battle knife flew out of his hand, one arm completely numb, and the web of his palm torn open, with blood flowing out.
"Seventh grade of the Open Spirit Realm, just like this."
Yun Yi had a cold expression and defeated the master of the seventh grade of the Open Spirit Realm with a single move, making him even more confident. The aura of his Dao body awakening, invincible in the world, became more evident.
The momentum was strong, and the killing intent was thick.
Before Yun Yi’s body landed, he struck down again with a flash of lightning.
"No."
The black captain looked terrified; he had never seen such a frightening person. At the fifth grade of the Open Spirit Realm, he felt utterly powerless against him.
Yun Yi did not give him a moment to catch his breath. In the current state of the black captain, he had no chance to withstand Yun Yi’s next strike.
Pfft!
The knife fell, blood spurted!
Accompanied by the horrifying screams of the valley, the black captain’s arm was cut off at the shoulder by Yun Yi, and blood gushed out like a fountain from the severed arm, dazzling and cruel.
Ignoring the other’s screams, Yun Yi thrust his war knife into the black captain’s heart.
"No, no…"
The black captain’s face was filled with despair, and the shadow of death completely enveloped him.
"You said that if a person’s heart is taken out while they are still alive, they will see their own heart beating before they die. You used this method to kill my three guards; now, let’s see your own heart beating."
Yun Yi’s eyes turned red, completely immersed in the pleasure of revenge; the urge to kill filled his heart, and the dark power made him cruel.
Yun Yi knew that there was no mercy for his deadly enemies; these people were stained with the blood of the Yun family guards.
Yun Yi ruthlessly took out the black captain’s heart and placed it in front of his face.
"So it was true."
The black captain fell down in despair, his eyes wide open.
There were five other men in black around, who witnessed the whole scene, but none dared to help.
Yun Yi was truly terrifying; he was like a bloodthirsty Killing God. They did not understand how someone at the fifth grade of the Open Spirit Realm could have such powerful strength.
But the truth was clear: even their captain could not withstand a single attack from Yun Yi, so it would be useless for them to step forward.
Overcome by death and fear, they even forgot to run away.
When Yun Yi killed the black captain and stood up, they had already lost their best chance to escape.
Terrifying dark power surged from Yun Yi like a tidal wave, instantly enveloping the five men in black.
The faces of the five people changed dramatically. Under the shadow of dark power, they felt suffocated, as if they had fallen into an ice cave, trembling all over.
At this moment, they had lost any desire to fight.
"Run!"
Someone shouted, and the five finally remembered what they needed to do right away. They quickly turned and ran toward the outside of the valley.
Yun Yi smirked cruelly and let out a terrifying cry. He leaped forward like a leopard, catching up to one person within a breath.
With one swift strike, a head fell to the ground.
Then came the next, and the one after that.
In less than ten breaths, all four were tragically killed by Yun Yi’s blade.
The last person was so frightened that he lost all courage, his soul trembling, and his legs shook, unable to move.
He turned around in fear and watched Yun Yi approach him step by step, his battle knife clattering to the ground.
"Please, don’t kill me."
The man began to cry. As the last person to die, his fear was much greater than the others because he had seen Yun Yi kill everyone, a shock to his mind that ordinary people could not understand.
"I ask you, what is the situation of my grandfather and my father now?"
Yun Yi asked.
"I… I don’t know either. We came to hunt you in the name of the Marquis, but I am not aware of the situation of Old Master Yun and Cloud General Feilong."
The man said, trembling.
"Then you have even less reason to live."
As Yun Yi spoke, the blade sliced through the man’s neck, killing the last person.
Sensing the strong smell of blood in the valley, Yun Yi looked up towards the Imperial Capital and said coldly, "Marquis Fanyang, Emperor Chu, I, Yun Yi, will settle this debt with you soon. If anything happens to my grandfather or father, I will turn the Imperial Capital to dust."
After ten days of escape and awakening his Innate Dao Body, Yun Yi had changed beyond recognition due to this bloody slaughter, transforming the once comfortable young master completely.
And this was just the beginning; Yun Yi still carried many burdens on his shoulders.
Suddenly, five or six agile figures burst into the valley. These six were also dressed in black, but they moved quickly and were clearly well-trained, far superior to the previous black-clothed individuals.
These people looked hurried and tense, ready for battle the moment they stepped into the valley.
But the scene in the valley left the six of them stunned, with their eyes wide and mouths agape as they took in the scattered bodies on the ground; with their skills and experience, they could easily see what had just happened here.
Finally, their eyes fell on the white-clothed boy standing in the pool of blood, and when they recognized Yun Yi’s face, all six clasped their fists and said together, "Young General!"
