The Void Refinement Stage Puppet turned and began walking toward the core control room, acting as if the conversation had never happened.
“Hey, wait! You can’t just leave like that!”
“Why don’t you make a counteroffer? Maybe I’ll agree,” the Earth Crystal Spider shouted, scrambling after the puppet.
The Void Refinement Stage Puppet didn’t stop, though its usual brisk pace slowed slightly.
“Fine, fine! Ten percent it is!”
The puppet halted, then smoothly began discussing the expansion plan with the Earth Crystal Spider.
After an hour of explanation, the Earth Crystal Spider tilted its head and asked, “Wait, didn’t you just talk about self-protection and stockpiling? Why are we suddenly talking about expansion?”
“There are several critical resources within the ten million-kilometer radius that we need to secure through expansion,” the Void Refinement Stage Puppet replied.

The black smoke giant fixed its bloodthirsty, savage gaze on Xu Fan and Wang Yulun.
“Now, swear your loyalty to me, and I will lead you to dominate this cultivation world,” the black smoke giant declared, its presence bearing down on them.
In an instant, an overwhelming wave of demonic energy pressed down on the two.
Xu Fan glanced at the black smoke giant, then at the Formation inside the box and the magic crystal embedded within it.
“Who taught you these intimidating tricks?” Xu Fan asked with a smile, gently brushing the magic crystal and reinforcing the artifact on the box.
“Two mere Nascent Soul cultivators dare to defy me, the Demon Sovereign? Kneel and submit, or face the torment of demonic punishment!” the black smoke giant roared at them.
At that moment, Xu Fan laughed and said to the black smoke giant, “Your intimidation act is weak. Do you even know who I am?”
“Who are you?” the black smoke giant asked, momentarily stunned.
By now, even Wang Yulun could tell the giant was just putting on a show.
Just then, a flash of red light passed through Xu Fan’s eyes.
In an instant, the entire world began to collapse. The ground shook violently, stars fell from the sky, and chaos filled the heavens, painting a scene of utter destruction.
Xu Fan’s figure had already vanished, and in the sky, a massive face formed from swirling chaos appeared, as if it were about to descend upon the world.
As the giant face emerged, the world continued to shatter around them.
“You call yourself the Demon Sovereign?” the giant face asked, looking down at the black smoke giant with the disdain of someone observing an ant.
Though there was no oppressive force, the sheer presence and gaze of the entity filled the black smoke giant with terror.
“I merely sought refuge in this world. I never expected a minor demon to demand my submission.”
“I was just joking!” the black smoke giant stammered, realizing the gravity of its mistake as it glanced at the crumbling world.
