Chapter 9
Chapter 9: The Cruel “Truth”
Looking at Tina pointing at her own made-up and random map, Lolth was also startled.
She didn’t understand what Tina was saying.
Of course, she thought of it herself, she didn’t hide anything from her!
And if she didn’t cooperate, why would she need to make things up out of thin air.
Making up these things consumed a lot of her precious brain cells!
So, seeing Tina questioning her in return made Lolth a bit annoyed, even if she had a good temper.
“It’s all thanks to you passing out, then waking up all excited.”
She couldn’t help but complain to the Elf Princess.
An interrogator’s job is very tough!
However, after Lolth finished complaining, she unexpectedly discovered…
Tina fell silent again.
She stood there like she was frozen by a snake-haired gorgon or soul-piercing demon, looking dazed.
Lolth was a bit puzzled by what had upset the girl, feeling a bit worried.
After a while, Tina murmured in a trembling voice, “No… this is not right…”
Hearing this, Lolth couldn’t help but find it a bit amusing.
Of course, she knew it was “not right”; it was just some nonsense she made up, how could it be “right”?
But soon, Lolth started to feel nervous.
Could this Elf Princess be being too open, trying to correct herself directly?
It would have been fine if she had been willing to cooperate just now, but now…
I have finished writing the information I need to hand in!
If she tells me the “correct” information, I will have to redo it all over again?
This goes against Lolth’s way of being lazy.
After thinking about it, Lolth decided it would be better not to send the correct information if it meant having to rewrite so much and draw for a long time.
The demon king and the frontline generals won’t even look at it, so why bother sending it!
So, she decided to act first and interrupted Tina’s whispering.
“Now, have you thought it through? It’s too late – as you can see, my task is already complete. The information in your mind is now useless, there’s no need to say it.”
After saying this, Tina, who had stood up, seemed to lose all her strength and sat back down.
“When did this get finished…”
She showed a pained expression and held onto her head.
“Oh, it’s just now!”
Lolth’s voice drifted softly, completely shattering Tina’s spirit.
Details of being captured flooded her mind.
There were no other elves or captives in the Demon King Castle…
She knew the layout of the entire alliance west defense line, and even knew the secret of the Dragonspine Mountain mine…
Suddenly falling into a coma…
The Moon Elf Interrogation Chamber’s environment made her relax due to its familiarity…
Unconsciously eating the food…
This succubus, who seemed to have been playing with her all along…
Sister Froer’s teachings came to her mind again.
“Succubus is the most terrifying among all Abyssal Demons, they can make you fall without you realizing it. You may think you can resist, but that’s just their twisted amusement.”
Tina finally realized the “truth” that she didn’t want to admit.
“I am the one who leaked the information…”
Right from the start, she had been manipulated by this person called Lolth!
Her “interrogation game” with herself was just for the succubus’s twisted amusement.
Perhaps the next moment, she would lose her last trace of consciousness and become like a dog on the ground, barking at her!
No, maybe such a scene had already taken place…
After all, being in the hands of a succubus, even the “memories” were no longer reliable.
“Since I’m no longer useful, why are you keeping my consciousness?”
Tina looked at Lolth, saying in despair.
Lolth looked at Tina, who had been fine just a moment ago but suddenly broke down and lost the glint in her eyes again, feeling even stranger.
Why does this elf’s mind work that way?
But upon careful thought, she understood.
After all, she had just experienced defeat in war and then been captured to the enemy’s main camp, a little bit of trauma was normal.
So, she patiently comforted her once more.
“Whether to keep you or not, I didn’t plan on killing you just because you’re no longer useful… Besides, you may be useless to the Demon Army, but you are still useful to me! As an interrogator, I can protect you and keep you here! We will have many collaborations in the future!”
Lolth smiled and reached out her hand towards Tina, wanting to shake hands to show goodwill.
Tina knew that Lolth saying this wasn’t a lie, as she hoped Lolth would help her taste different foods.
She was now the only living creature in the entire Demon King Castle with normal taste buds, besides herself!
However, when Tina heard these words, they all transformed into mature or even explicit versions in her mind.
Tina trembled as she looked at Lolth’s delicate and boneless left hand that was stretched out.
