Chapter 4
Chapter 4: Intelligence? I’ll Just Make It Up Myself!
However, Lolth bringing Tina to this Elf Interrogation Chamber was truly done out of kindness.
She never thought that one day she would actually need to interrogate someone.
Lolth has no interest in torture, interrogation, or using force.
She is not only a lazy person, but also a morally upright lazy person.
The materials written to the demon king at that time were not entirely nonsense.
At least half… um, or maybe about thirty percent of the contents had some valid points.
Lolth’s plan was to make the Elf Princess calm down, have a friendly chat with her, confess that she was just doing her job, get some unimportant information from her, and then enjoy some food and drinks together.
As for the outcome of the Demon Army…
Lolth thought it had nothing to do with her.
Anyway, the interrogator position had no competition, as long as she didn’t make big mistakes, it was a secure job.
The Demon King didn’t really care about “information” anyway; the Demon Army always just relied on brute force for battles!
You send out ten thousand soldiers, I send out thirty thousand demon race warriors!
You send out epic heroes, I’ll send out legendary evil demon lords! If you use legendary heroes, I’ll use two legendary evil demon lords!
If the numbers and levels are the same, that would be great, and we could have a showdown!
There’s really no strategy involved, the information is just for fun.
The evil king wanted to question the Elf Princess herself, probably because she felt like she had to gather information even though she didn’t want to.
Lolth wasn’t good at interrogating, but fooling bosses was a skill Lolth excelled in.
She believed Tina understood the situation and was willing to cooperate.
With that said, Lolth looked at Tina.
Seeing that the Moon Elf girl seemed to have calmed down, she gazed at her softly.
Before Lolth could speak, Tina spoke first.
“I understand…”
Tina’s voice sounded somewhat sad.
“What do you understand?”
Lolth was puzzled by the sentence and couldn’t help but ask.
Tina sat across from her and continued, “You designed this place to look like the Valley of the New Moon, to make me feel degraded and accomplished in this setting… You want me to fall from grace in the place I know best, to completely break my mental defenses, right?”
Lolth stared at Tina in surprise.
“No, you’ve misunderstood. I didn’t mean that,” Lolth cleared her throat. “Although the demon lord asked me to interrogate you about the Holy Alliance defenses, I’m not really interested in that information…”
“So you’re interested in my body?”
Tina interrupted Lolth, sounding resigned.
“Hold on, let me finish. You foolish elf,” Lolth sighed and tapped the table, raising her voice to finally silence the timid Moon Elf. Seeing Tina frozen in place like a statue, Lolth nodded in satisfaction and continued, “Let me repeat, I am also a woman, not interested in your body, and the Demon Army doesn’t need any information from you. So you don’t have to worry at all. Just cooperate with me as a formality, and you can continue living in this place similar to your home!”
After finishing speaking, Lolth looked at Tina, who was still sitting calmly, and nodded contentedly.
“Do you understand, Princess?”
“I understand…”
Tina only regained her senses when she looked at Lolth, paused, and continued to say in despair.
“Do you want to wait until I completely let my guard down one day, then turn me into a tool of lust for the demon race, and watch my spirit collapse in the ups and downs?”
Lolth sighed as she looked at Tina, who was fearful but firm in her tone, and completely gave up on trying to persuade her.
“Forget it, let it be…”
She helplessly waved her hand, deciding not to argue with this elf who clearly had severe delusions of persecution and couldn’t listen to reason.
She looked at the map in her hand, where the winding defensive and battle lines crisscrossed, and the side of the Holy Alliance was almost blank.
There were only a few marks indicating the countries or races mainly responsible for that area.
The task given by the demon king was for her to casually arrange the defenses on the western side that the elves were responsible for.
I could ignore her, but without the cooperation of this silly elf lady… how can this task be completed?
And this elf lady’s imagination is just too rich, it’s impossible to work together with her!
As Lolth thought about this, she suddenly paused.
Wait a minute…
Imagine!
She suddenly realized, a breakthrough!
That is… imagination is not exclusive to this lady.
Anyway, the demon king probably doesn’t care much about this information, and the subordinates are unlikely to verify it, so she might as well make something up!
In past strategy games, she played some before, it’s just like filling in the blanks!
Thinking about this, Lolth couldn’t help but show a joyful smile, picked up the feather pen placed on the table, and licked the tip of the pen.
This smile and the mischievous act of licking the pen coincidentally caught the eye of Tina who was secretly observing her. The poor Moon Elf was once again scared, her pupils dilated, and she almost passed out.
