Chapter 431: “Nullify”
“Indeed, in this world, there exist powerful individuals with enough strength.”
The elf, wrapped in bandages from head to toe, had an expressionless face. She held a black, mysterious crystal ball in her hands, from which the steady and composed sound of “Nullify” emanated. The voice was calm, clearly belonging to one with great foresight and planning.
“It seems that I still need to make an appearance.”
The bandaged elf blinked in surprise and furrowed her brow slightly.
“Master, are you truly planning to come? The Celestial Demon has grown significantly. Perhaps, we no longer require your personal visit… What do you think about the three of us—me, the Black King, and the Celestial Demon—going together?”
The bandaged elf didn’t want her master to come in person. If he did, there was a real risk of confrontation with the native deities of the Noah World, leading to potential destruction. She glanced at the Celestial Demon not far from her. This being had already devoured half of the street, growing immensely, and it had not even reached its full potential yet.
It could be said that this was just the beginning.
“Even it could not defeat that person.”
The voice from the crystal ball spoke again, calm and assured. “I sense that I must personally descend in order to deal with the powerful being that just attacked.”
The bandaged elf fell silent, not arguing with her master’s decision.
The native champions of the Noah world still had some strength, but their subordinates were weak. The elf, wrapped in bandages, felt a deep sense of shame.
“Um, I wish the master victory and success.”
She knelt, her expression devout, and whispered quietly.
The black crystal ball in her hands began to float, rising gradually into the sky above Tatsumi City.
“Oh, my lord! Destroy it all!”
“Nullify.”
It was a hundred-armed giant that had lived for thousands of years. Even among the already powerful race of hundred-armed giants, it was a strange anomaly.
While ordinary hundred-armed giants were savage, lacking intelligence, “Nullify” was entirely different. It often devised complex schemes, manipulating the Doomsday Race to carry out plans that could span thousands of years.
There were rare occasions when “Nullify” would take the risk and personally appear.
Luo Ge, a loyal bandage spirit completely devoted to Nullify, hailed from a world already entirely controlled by it. In this world, the civilization of spirits had once been proud and ambitious, but it was now tamed. Every spirit, from birth, was indoctrinated to worship Nullify as a divine master.
Long ago, Luo Ge’s ancestors had fought valiantly, sacrificing their lives to resist Nullify. Yet, in her generation, the spirits had been fully brainwashed, considering devotion to Nullify the highest honor.
The dark crystal sphere floated into the sky. Luo Ge, kneeling on the ground, chanted ancient incantations. The sphere trembled violently, spinning continuously.
“Please come, my master,” she whispered, her body trembling with anticipation.
A dim and profound light burst from the crystal sphere, and a massive rift appeared in the sky. Within it, a gigantic, pale arm emerged, veins bulging beneath the skin.
This arm was enormous, its nail alone far larger than the kneeling Luo Ge. Scattered across its surface were rotating pupils and a dark aura that was both strange and disturbing. Merely looking at it could drive a person to madness.
The arm pushed horizontally towards the distant white tower.
Nullify had not fully arrived; only the arm had emerged, decisively reaching towards the white tower. Its power was overwhelming. Anyone caught in the dark aura would turn to stone within moments. From their petrified bodies, their souls would be swiftly drawn into the many pupils, becoming cherished possessions of Nullify.
But then, a serene blue light descended from the sky, enveloping the earth and pushing the giant, pale arm back.
Mr. Xia had made another move.
The standoff didn’t last long. Soon after, the sky trembled, and the earth shook!
Everyone could feel it.
Tatsumi City was shaking!
A deep sense of fear filled the hearts of the people. They had no idea what kind of destruction this battle would bring.
The clash between two mighty Apocalypses was incredibly destructive.
“If they continue like this, it seems this city won’t be able to withstand it…”
Inside the Babel Tower, Bai Yan watched the battle unfold, his brow furrowed in concern.
Both sides unleashed devastating attacks, and the shockwaves of their power engulfed the city. Some areas were already crumbling and suffering heavy damage.
The cautious and cunning “Nullify” feared the Rainbows, but did not allow them to fully descend. Instead, it wielded only a fraction of its power, causing the massive, grayish-white arm to slowly retreat under the force of a blue beam of light.
At that moment, a massive black creature surged from the ground.
The Celestial Demon!
It was an anomaly among the Doomsday Race, a creature nurtured by Nullify for thousands of years. Lacking much self-awareness, it followed orders and devoured everything in its path. It was the perfect weapon.
Having consumed building after building, the Celestial Demon had grown even more powerful. Now, it resembled a black tidal wave, rolling towards the White Tower.
“Crash!”
Suddenly, a sword light sliced across the sky from top to bottom, cutting the Celestial Demon in two!
The Chief Director of the Demon Hunt General Agency, “Sword Saint” Austin, had finally made his move!
He hovered in the air, looking down at the enemy.
“Your opponent.”
But the Celestial Demon, despite being sliced in half, didn’t die. Instead, it split into two wriggling creatures… Perhaps splitting it had been a mistake.
Luo Ge, who had been kneeling, stood up, preparing to join the fray. However, to her surprise, she found herself surrounded.
“You are from Babel Tower,” she said coldly, her eyes filled with murderous intent.
Four individuals surrounded her: Bai Yan, Mu Ling, Scarlet Moon, and Maryse.
Mu Ling took a deep breath.
“Beware of the middle-ranked Apocalypse enemies,” a wise voice cautioned.
But the Scarlet Moon simply shook her head.
“It seems we don’t need to be careful ourselves… I’ve got a familiar feeling…”
At the same time, inside the Babel Tower.
Bai Yan, holding his phone, was simultaneously controlling his incarnations—Mu Ling, Scarlet Moon, and Maryse—within the game “Babel Tower.”
Ordinary people wouldn’t be able to control four characters at once in a game, but Bai Yan’s gaming skills were far beyond normal.
Under his precise coordination, the four worked together nearly perfectly.
In Tatsumi City, Babel Tower members began to move one after another.
“The only option for the disobedient master was death.”
Luo Ge remained calm. Her ability was to manipulate the elements between heaven and earth, a relatively common extraordinary power.
The Scarlet Moon gathered flames and thunder, like a natural disaster, attempting to destroy the four of them along with the entire neighborhood. However, she quickly transformed into a blazing scarlet meteor, breaking through the attack effortlessly.
Deep Blue World.
Mu Ling rushed forward, aiming to decapitate her opponent, but soon discovered that the hardened “thorn” made it nearly impossible to succeed. Was it even harder than the usual “thorn”? If she were a higher-ranked Apocalypse, perhaps she could manage…
It couldn’t be chopped down now.
“Evil.”
Mu Ling, still not yet at the Apocalypse level, found herself struggling against foes at that rank.
As the frozen time ended, Mu Ling saw that her enemies had turned to stone, and their true forms had already retreated, several kilometers away.
The pale giant’s arms in the sky were retreating, seemingly forced back into their own space.
But just then, enormous pale arms broke through black cracks, sweeping across various parts of Tatsumi City.
One of the arms was heading straight for the Babel Tower crowd.
“Bang!”
The Scarlet Moon transformed into a shooting star once again, soaring into the sky and landing a powerful blow on the massive pale arm, barely blocking the attack.
“Master, thank you very much.”
Luo Ge expressed her gratitude. Meanwhile, several kilometers away, she frantically gathered wind elements, creating enormous tornadoes that obliterated everything in their path.
At that moment, Bai Yan felt a deep sense of confusion. He sensed something.
There was a great sense of impending danger.
“Steel Throne!”
Not just him, but all the Apocalypse-level powerhouses were drawn to this overwhelming pressure.
They arrived.
The echo of Nullify’s voice softly resonated.
“Steel Throne, a great chess piece of the Black Abyss Deep Sea, one of the gods in this world… the Rainbow you all believe in!”
Everyone saw it. In a hidden corner of the sky, a cluster of white flames began to take shape.
A white figure, made of flames, stood tall amidst the clouds, exuding an aura as though it could annihilate the World!
