Description:
The Slime, born in the laboratory of the Sage, is the only survivor among countless creatures of its kind. Its god-like luck enabled it to gain immense power, yet it remains unaware of its identity and future whereabouts.
The physical strength of Fusion Slime is robust, and upon activating the power of Fusion, its strength drastically increases. Its skills should not be underestimated, for it is capable of transforming into a vast number of flexible tentacles that vary in size. It can even fill every hole inside a beehive without causing damage to itself.
Due to its unique physique, Fusion Slime can divide itself into numerous smaller portions. Later on, with auxiliary features, each Core Operator can have their own Fusion Slime.
The Nuclear Heart, used for nuclear power, is not a nuclear reactor but a Civilization-level Relic. It doesn’t belong to the true core of the Fusion Slime. When it splits, the Nuclear Heart will be distributed evenly among each small slime.
Self-destruct: This ultimate move doesn’t result in the death of the main body but leaves it in a dying state. It causes temporary damage to the Nuclear Heart. The power of this move is substantial and may even blow up a Crown-level monster.
Growth Path:
In the regular world line, Fusion Slime’s growth can be summarized in one word: Prototype.
However, Bai Yan chose to temporarily leave it in Tree City, where it posed no immediate risk. Professor Bai Lan had more than just a “good” attitude towards it—Fusion Slime was essentially her “lifeblood.” Even if the cold and ruthless Babel Tower kidnapped it, she would trade her arm before parting with it.
Having resolved the issue of the new Core Operator, Bai Yan turned his focus to completing the remaining tasks for the large-scale event “Chaos of Equilibrium.”
The completion of “Fleeting Beauty” was just the beginning. The Boss of this smaller task was an “awakening level” evil priest, easily dispatched by Babel Tower’s growing strength. As Bai Yan had a compound ability across all Core Operators, his own strength now rivaled that of a Crown-level being.
In this city, there was little to fear, aside from the Queen of the Scarlet Moon. But, if the Imperial Guards of the Eyes of the Empire had left, it was a situation Bai Yan could handle.
The First Task:
The task “Accumulation of Impure Desires” had more weight than “Fleeting Beauty.” Though Bai Yan’s memory of it was hazy, he recalled it was tied to one of the five major families: the Wettin family. This family had a dark history involving organ trafficking, and its branch family, the Ferrener family, had already crossed dangerous lines.
Though the Wettin family once stood proud as noble knights, guarding Tatsumi City for centuries, their lineage had since become filled with filth and moral corruption. They were pillars of the city, holding wealth beyond any ordinary person’s comprehension.
However, there was one absolute taboo: never engage with cultists. Yet, the Wettin family had strayed down that forbidden path, particularly evident in their involvement with the Babel Tower task.
Bai Yan, having already decided to deal with the Wettin family, opened the “Accumulation of Impure Desires” task on his phone. The seal-like pattern on his screen vanished as the task prompt appeared.
Game prompt:
“The mission has been activated due to accumulation of impure desires.”
“Please select a Core Operator to proceed to the mission location.”
A list of Core Operators appeared, including both “Cybertyrant” and “Fusion Slime.” Bai Yan pondered for a moment. While Cybertyrant was powerful in the Night Union, her capabilities would be limited in this particular mission. Her strength was diminished in other worlds, especially in places like the Euro League, where the lack of an electronic network would cripple her abilities.
So, Bai Yan selected Fusion Slime for the task.
“I hope your creator won’t be too surprised,” Bai Yan mused, knowing that Professor Bai Lan had deep affection for Fusion Slime. Even though it had gone awry, she wouldn’t consider destroying it.
With Babel Tower’s existence and the Nine Tree System unaware of these proceedings, Bai Yan could confidently send Fusion Slime on this mission.
“It’s decided! Fusion Slime!”

The Wettin Family
Inside the Knight’s Hall of the Wettin family, a lavish meeting was taking place. The walls, adorned with gold and the heroic deeds of their ancestors, showcased the family’s proud knightly heritage. Yet, an overwhelming silence blanketed the room as the patriarch, Count Gallard, sat at the head of the table. His eyes were closed, his burly figure unyielding.
Count Gallard, once a renowned hero in the Otherworlds, had fought alongside Mr. Trap, Mr. Que, and others, ridding the world of countless criminals and cultists. Only he and two elderly Night Watchers remained of their generation. His wife, a crime-hunter, had died at the hands of “Mr. Mystery” from the Black Star Faction, further strengthening the family’s ties to the world of combat.
Despite his age and the weariness of time, Count Gallard’s grip on the “Demon Slayer” sword remained firm. The weapon, a family heirloom, was a constant reminder of his past.
Finally, he opened his eyes and spoke.
“Someone among you has betrayed me, betrayed our family, betrayed our ancestors.”
Gallard’s voice echoed through
the room. “Mr. Trap has
already informed me that the
Ferrener family was deserving
of their fate… The Babel Tower
didn’t do anything wrong.”
He paused before continuing,
“Though there was no direct
evidence, the Ferrener family, a
collateral branch of our own,
must have had support from
someone within this family.”
“Step forward. Show some
responsibility.”
His voice was heavy, carrying a
weight that made every word
resound. Yet, despite his
commanding presence, no one
stepped forward.
Gallard sighed deeply, his
disappointment palpable. “I
never expected the members
of the Wettin family to lack the
courage to face their own
actions.”
Then, a voice broke the silence
from among the crowd.
“In our opinion, the one who
truly betrayed the family… was
you!”
Count Gallard blinked,
surprised by the sudden
outburst. His once-submissive
relatives now stood with
defiance in their eyes, glaring
coldly at the patriarch.
