Chapter 58: Well, I Guess I’ll Stop Teasing Big Sister For Today ❤️ ~

Although they were just five mixed-up small-time thugs, Ye Xiao herself was only a tiny girl standing barely 1.5 meters tall.

She knew that she absolutely couldn’t allow herself to be caught, with her size, it would be game over for her if they got their hands on her!

Without hesitation, she stretched out both hands: one reached under her skirt to grab the stun gun strapped to her thigh, and the other took out a pepper spray from her bag.

As the thug leader’s hand came at her, Ye Xiao aimed the spray directly at his eyes and pressed the button. The stuff was really just concentrated pepper water packed in a small bottle. The thug leader took the full spray to his face.

For a second, he was stunned, and then reflexively rubbed his face. By the third second, he had dropped to his knees, nose and eyes streaming heavily. But there was no time for Ye Xiao to keep gloating.

While the thug leader was temporarily immobilized, he still had four underlings.

Ye Xiao quickly switched on the stun gun and jammed it into the side of the next closest thug.

The thug who’d been mouthing off the loudest immediately collapsed onto the snowy ground, twitching all over. The thugs’ encirclement had a gap now, so Ye Xiao dashed in that direction, trying to escape.

At that moment, she felt a pull on her hair. Thankfully, her short, smooth hair slipped right through the thug’s fingers.

“You really never learned not to touch a girl’s hair, huh?”

She sneered, turning around disdainfully and jabbing her stun gun into his chest.

The thug immediately started convulsing, collapsing like the others.

Seeing their comrades dropped in an instant, the remaining two thugs hesitated. However, at that moment, the thug leader, eyes bloodshot and face twisted with pain, struggled back to his feet.

“Grab her! Watch out for her gadgets!”

He commanded. With his encouragement, the two regained some nerve and charged at Ye Xiao again.

Knocking down three people so quickly was only possible because she’d caught them off guard, making her gadgets highly effective. Now that they were prepared, though, relying on her stun gun and pepper spray again wasn’t realistic.

She was quickly overpowered and, knowing it was useless to resist now, stopped struggling, fighting back now would only get her hurt.

The streets were pretty empty due to the snow, so shouting for help would just anger the thugs further. Of course, she’d already triggered the emergency alert on her phone before being caught.

“You little brat, you’re ours now! We’re going to make you pay for this!”

Growled the thug leader, his face still contorted in pain.

“Look behind you!”

Ye Xiao suddenly gasped with an exaggerated look of surprise.

“Haha, do you think we’re falling for that? Look behind us? What’s next, aliens?”

But the thug leader was quickly proven wrong as a powerful kick sent him sprawling to the ground with a pained scream.

Ye Xiao shook her head and sighed,

“Why didn’t you just listen? Don’t low-life scum know how to take advice?”

“Five grown men bullying a little girl, and you still lost two of your own? How embarrassing.” Came a new voice.

Seeing this, the remaining thugs immediately let go of Ye Xiao and fled without a backward glance.

“Thank you for saving me, noble heroine! If it wasn’t for you, I might’ve been in real danger!”

Ye Xiao put her hands together in a martial salute, trying to strike a dramatic pose.

“Heroine, my foot!” Said Li Mengyue, the girl who had just saved her.

“I just couldn’t stand seeing a bunch of men picking on a little girl.”

“Oh, come on, noble warrior! You came to the rescue—that’s what I call heroism!”

Ye Xiao grinned, then turned back to give a good zap to each of the downed thugs.

Watching their bodies twitch, Li Mengyue shivered slightly.

This cute little girl—could she actually have some sadistic tendencies?

Once Ye Xiao was sure they were completely incapacitated, she stomped her snowy boots onto each of their faces.

“Haha! Defeated by a tiny little girl like me! You really are society’s scum, unrecyclable garbage!”

She taunted, “Honestly, what’s the point of trash like you existing, other than proving you’re worth even less than a little girl?”

The thugs, regaining some consciousness, twitched in response to her words.

“Aww, how pathetic. Crawling around in the snow like worms—you’re so lame!”

The thug leader, still dazed, lay on the ground, barely able to grab a handful of snow.

Once, he’d prided himself on being above the usual lowlifes, but now his defenses were utterly broken.

Ye Xiao turned to look at her rescuer with a smile.

With that, she put away her phone and hurried off.
