“Whenever Miss Tina and I go on business trips, the hosting side always books a five-star luxury suite for us in advance. If you can’t even meet the basic standards of reception, I can only assume your side isn’t taking this project seriously! Miss Tina, since they clearly don’t value this partnership, why should we?”
“If your esteemed company doesn’t see any intent or sincerity in cooperation, then I suggest you head back. Yunchu-jie, cancel the room.”
Ye Xiao had seen through it. This assistant was just trying to play hardball, and Tina hadn’t stopped her, meaning she tacitly approved. Perhaps they’d pulled this stunt on many other companies before.
Maybe it was because of how massive GiantSoft was that they always held the upper hand in negotiations.

The assistant was shocked. What’s going on? Wasn’t this supposed to be some no-name small company begging GiantSoft to acquire them? Why does it feel like GiantSoft is the one begging to buy this “My World” game?
“Why are you still here? Didn’t you hear what Ye just said? Grab your bags and get out of Binhai. And if you’re not happy about it, once this business trip is over, go ahead and submit your resignation!”
Finally understanding the situation, the assistant had no choice but to take her luggage and leave the hotel, tail between her legs.

Ye Xiao didn’t bring up the “My World” acquisition, and Tina wasn’t in a rush either.
If Ye Xiao wanted to sell, she’d bring it up herself when the time came. If she truly didn’t intend to sell, there’d be no point in pushing.
It was better to see what kind of arrangements Ye Xiao had in mind—and maybe use the opportunity to get closer.
Ideally, there’ll be some sort of cocktail party where I can get her drunk.
