Chapter 461: My Fate Cannot Be Defied; All of You Shall Be Executed

Stop putting on an act in front of me! In my prime, I was no weaker than you. And you’re merely a projection of a divine soul—who do you think you’re trying to scare?

The Beast Tamer Elder spoke coldly.

“You lowly race, always hanging around demonic beasts! Do you see me paying you any attention?”

Dr. Annie scoffed. Then she gave Lin Feng a frosty glance before her entire body transformed into a streak of golden light, tearing through the air and vanishing without a trace.

Seeing this sight, the Beast Tamer Elder felt a silent sense of relief. Although he had acted rather domineering just now, he was actually on edge. This eight-winged angel had an unknown origin and uncertain strength. He truly did not wish to provoke her, so having her withdraw on her own was for the best.

With that in mind, the Beast Tamer Elder turned to Lin Feng and said icily, “Kid, anything left you want to say now?”

At this moment, he was fused with the black flood dragon, his form massive. As he spoke, a foul wind spread in all directions. Lin Feng stood before him looking as insignificant as an ant. Behind him sprawled a horde of tens of thousands of demonic beasts.

Among them was a red scorpion roughly seven or eight meters long, its tail raised high, the stinger gleaming with a chilling light—a sixth-tier demonic beast, the Giant Demon Scorpion. A sixth-tier demonic beast was already equivalent to a cultivator at the Divine Transformation realm. Aside from being unable to speak, its intelligence was nearly on par with a human’s.

At this very moment, the Giant Demon Scorpion was standing behind the black flood dragon, peering at Lin Feng with its beady eyes in a sinister stare.

Lin Feng did not answer; instead, he was pondering the scene from just moments ago. One body, two souls. He had never imagined that Dr. Annie would be harboring the divine soul of an eight-winged angel. Now that she had escaped, she would almost certainly be a huge threat in the future.

“Too scared to speak? You didn’t act like this a moment ago…” The Beast Tamer Elder let out a barrage of cold laughter, like a cat toying with a mouse.

“What are you barking for, dog?” Lin Feng responded impassively, raising a palm and striking toward the Beast Tamer Elder.

“Flood Dragon’s Breath!” the Beast Tamer Elder shouted, spitting a white orb of light from his mouth. It collided fiercely with Lin Feng’s descending palm.

Boom! Devastating energy rippled outward, forming a gigantic mushroom cloud. Even Jiang Yanxi, Feng Ling, Tang Yun, and the others several dozen kilometers away could see it clearly.

“It’s started! I hope Junior Brother can hold his own!” Anxiety showed on Jiang Yanxi and the others’ faces.

In but a moment, spiritual energy dispersed the mushroom cloud until it vanished without a trace.

“Hahaha! Lin Feng! Now that I’ve performed the Beast Taming secret art—Human-Beast Fusion—you’ll find beating me won’t be so simple!” The Beast Tamer Elder gave an elated laugh. “And beyond that, I still command an army of over ten thousand demonic beasts, the powerful foundation I’ve prepared to revive the Beast Taming Sect! Today, it will be your honor to die at my hands!”

Then he threw his head back and let out a prolonged howl. “Brats, get in there—kill him!”

Bang! Bang! Bang! In an instant, the countless demonic beasts behind him grew wild, their red eyes gleaming as they rushed Lin Feng in unison. Tens of thousands of them swept forward like an immense army, causing the earth to tremble as though on the verge of splitting apart.

It was a truly terrifying sight. Ordinarily, a cultivator facing such a scene would be too frightened to fight, legs trembling until they collapsed in despair. Yet Lin Feng merely curled his lips into a cold smile. Forming a sword seal with his fingers, he shouted, “Sword, come!”

Clang! A dazzling golden sword—his Life-Bound Sword—whistled through the air and landed in his hand. Lin Feng gently stroked the blade, murmuring, “Old friend, it’s been a while since you’ve tasted blood. Let’s feed you your fill this time.”

Buzz…buzz… The sword seemed almost alive, humming in excitement. Fighting alongside its master was its sole purpose for existence.

Swish! Suddenly Lin Feng’s features turned icy. Gripping his Life-Bound Sword, he charged into the beast horde. Today, he intended to slaughter without restraint. So what if there were tens of thousands of demonic beasts? Against a mighty sword cultivator, even massive numbers were no more than a statistic—mere souls waiting to fall beneath his blade.

“Today, by the flesh and blood of all of you, I shall define my path of slaughter!” he cried. “No one defies my will. You shall all perish!”

The chill in Lin Feng’s tone was enough to appall anyone. With a single slash—

Boom! An arc of razor-sharp sword energy tore through the air, unstoppable, as though it could rend space and sever the flow of time itself.

Crack—crack—crack! Roar! The sound of rending flesh and the wails of demonic beasts rang out, but before long, these were drowned out by the chaotic stampede and panicked breathing.

Splat! Blood sprayed across the battlefield as corpses littered a sea of gore. With just one strike, Lin Feng had slain an untold number of beasts—including some of the higher tiers. “Die!” he shouted, sending out another sword strike in a sweeping arc.

Two successive strikes were enough to create a hellish circle of corpses around him, forging a patch of deathly silence. Blood mist permeated the air, making it nauseating to breathe. Just moments earlier, countless beasts had been roaring with savage excitement. Now their eyes were filled with terror, not one daring to advance.

Demonic beasts feared death too—knowing certain doom lay ahead, who would venture forward? Just then—

Swish— A glint of cold light flashed by; the next moment, a tail darted out like the shadow of a dragon. The sixth-tier Giant Demon Scorpion had struck.

Its beady eyes gleamed with vicious intent as its elongated stinger, wreathed in a jade-green glow, stabbed relentlessly toward Lin Feng’s head. Its speed was far too fast for mortal eyes to track; it seemed to pierce holes in the void wherever it passed.

Such was the terror of a sixth-tier demonic beast. One could well imagine that even a typical Divine Transformation cultivator struck by that tail would be in mortal peril.

“Such a trivial trick!” Lin Feng sneered, positioning his Life-Bound Sword in front of him to form a shield of sword energy, blocking the scorpion’s thrust. Then he casually twisted his wrist—

Crack! The scorpion’s hardest tail was severed on the spot, a large spray of green blood pouring onto the ground. …
