Chapter 1: A Firework Display
The afternoon sun blazed down, scorching her skin.
Deep in the dense forest, You You struggled up a stone slope. After reaching the top, she panted heavily and scanned the horizon – only endless green stretched before her, making her feel utterly alone.
She sighed and whispered: "Map."
Swish!
A translucent scroll materialized, displaying a floating map.
The map showed nothing but endless green.
This forest was too vast. After wandering for over two hours, she still couldn’t find its edge.
You You never imagined she’d experience transmigration. One moment she was living normally, the next she stood in this strange forest. Though clueless about this world, she found herself bound to a familiar game system.
But except for the map, the System gave no feedback. Her inventory held no useful items either.
You You sat down on the rocky slope and opened her inventory for the hundredth time. Still nothing helpful – just junk. The only notable item was an orange-glowing firework.
【Final Commemorative Firework – Fire Meteor Fall!】(The system’s final gift before shutdown.)
She sighed. Since it was useless anyway, why not light it for fun?
She activated the firework mentally.
The closed map abruptly reappeared with crimson text: Select ignition area!
"…"
Since when did fireworks need specific locations?
She tapped the map’s deepest Black zone. Darker areas showed fireworks better. The orange firework vanished from her inventory as new text appeared:
【Fire Meteor Fall igniting: 10, 9, 8…】
A countdown?
You You blinked but kept watching the sky.
…3, 2, 1
She turned toward the Black mist’s Direction.
Nothing.
Were game items unusable here? What good was this game system then?
Her heart sank. Even fireworks betrayed her. She sighed and prepared to descend.
Suddenly the ground quaked violently.
She stumbled, foot twisting as she crashed down.
Hiss…
She scrambled up as tremors intensified. An earthquake? Seriously?
Before she could react, crimson light flooded from above, dyeing the original body of green forest blood-red.
She instinctively looked up and saw a massive fireball tearing through the sky, plummeting straight toward her right front. More fireballs followed like a meteor shower, crashing down with deafening roars that shook the ground. Towering mushroom clouds bloomed in the distance.
The shockwaves flattened towering trees like wheat before a scythe, wiping out half the forest. Dust surged thousands of feet high, sweeping toward her even from across the map, coating You You’s face in grit. On her map, the formerly blackened terrain now glowed reddish-yellow, pockmarked with enormous craters.
Her consciousness flooded with scrolling data:
【High-level target eliminated: +99,999 EXP… +99,873… +99,542… +100,000…】
【Max EXP reached! Cultivation upgraded: Foundation Establishment Stage → Golden Elixir Stage → Nascent Soul Stage → God Transformation Stage → Job change successful → Golden Immortal Stage】
【MAX LEVEL REACHED】
【Title acquired: Sword Slayer!】
【Titles unlocked: Hundred Slayer → Thousand Slayer → Ten Thousand Slayer → Unslayable】
【Unique title obtained: God Slayer!】
【…】
You You: “…”
*Dead inside*

You You gaped at the data cascading faster than her eyes could track. Then it hit her—the orange-tier “firework” she’d used was called *Fire Meteor Fall*.
Fire… Meteor… FALL?!!
(Д≡Д)
*This* was supposed to be a firework?! More like an asteroid apocalypse!
w(Д)w
*Breathe. Breathe.*
Who knew orange-tier items packed planetary collision-level power? At least she’d aimed it at the map’s farthest edge. The forest’s vastness should’ve contained the blast. Surviving her own “firework” was miracle enough.
*Stay calm. Everything’s fi—* SCREW CALM!
(╯°Д°)╯︵┻━┻
AHHHHHH!!!
She clutched her head. This wasn’t a firework—it was a nuke! How had she casually unleashed WMD-tier destruction?!
And these notifications… What HAD she annihilated? Please don’t be people! She’d just isekai’d here—she couldn’t have mass-murdered folks already!
*But… remote forests don’t have crowds. Maybe animals?* Though slaughtering wildlife was still illegal. But regular critters gave trivial EXP. Ninety-thousand-plus points meant BOSS-level kills. So what exactly—
AAAAAAH!
*Need. To. Check. NOW.*
