Chapter 47: Pull the Enemy into Your Rhythm, Then Use Rich Experience to Defeat It!
"Was this the guy who killed my sea dragon and my subordinate?"
"Heh, he looked pretty powerful."
The Sea God Agor swayed his divine body, slowly floating in the sea.
His body was simple, without eyes and with only basic senses.
As an animal, it might have seemed clumsy.
But for a divine body, this was not a problem at all!
A god could use "magic vision" or "divine power vision" to see around, whether they wanted to or not.
This ability was much better than any sharp sense!
The Sea God Agor used his "magic eye" to watch the grand Giant God.
His smart mind was also thinking about the "Giant God’s" plan.
"Hmph, maybe you do have some cleverness and tricks."
"To fight me, you really worked hard, planning so much!"
Thinking this, the Sea God Agor started listing the other side’s "plans".
"You suddenly tempted the ‘Saltwater Queen’ to believe in you, then destroyed the divine punishment force I sent, killed my Secondary God, just to test if I had joined the chaos?"
"Maybe you found a clue from my Secondary God and divine guards."
"Then you found my fleet that moved supplies for chaos and wiped it out!"
"Your followers and underlings were catching demons and sailors infected by chaos, putting them away; this clearly kept proof!"
"It was clear you were hunting for evidence to show me up in the Order God’s camp!"
"By doing this, you wanted the Order God’s camp to take you in, since you just woke up!"
"Nice thinking!"
"Too bad, I saw through it all!"
If Agor was in human shape, he might have slapped his leg and leaned back with tactics.
Spotting the enemy’s well-planned scheme was something to be proud of.
But the clever and plotting Sea God Agor felt even better about what came next.
"Too bad."
"When it comes to playing games, you’re still too young."
"You showed your best card too openly."
"By losing a sea beast, many top divine guards, and a Secondary God servant, I got lots of good facts."
"You must be one of those ‘Primordial Ancient Gods’ from the world’s start, with weak magic power."
"Up to now, I haven’t seen you use any magic."
"So, you don’t have magic vision, just like a big, strong animal."
"Through the pitiful intel Feimafenger sent before falling, your eyesight’s awful—hearing and touch ain’t much better—but your smell and some special sense are sharp as knives."
"Which makes you easy prey. Just dangle bait like fishing, then lie in wait far off."
Thinking this, Agor swelled with pride over that supply fleet.
Truth was, it *was* the bait!
That pitiful "Ancient God," starved for divine approval, took the hook and rushed in headlong!
At least, that’s how the sly Sea God Agor saw things play out.
This whole "I-outsmarted-your-outsmarting" game had Agor, ever the schemer, buzzing with glee!
And this time? He came locked and loaded.
"This body blends right into the sea. With your lousy eyes and ears? You’d never spot me!"
"Stay still as stone, drift with the current, clamp down on my magic flow? Your special senses won’t sniff me out."
"My form’s got no scent—good luck finding me with that sharp nose!"
"Plus, I’ve got passive magic cloaking every whiff!"
"Only trace I leave? My bulk causing a tiny drag in the current."
"Shame your numb touch and dull ears won’t catch it!"
"So…"
Sea God Agor rippled his long tentacles, ready to shock that smug "Ancient God."
"Heh."
"Get a taste! My godly tentacles pack vile stingers. Poison sacs behind ’em hold fierce magic—dormant, untraceable by any means. But let one loose? Each needle unleashes deadly venom-spells!"
"Your godhood will rot. Your divine flesh will scream in agony!"
"Till despair drags you down—doomed and helpless!"
"Fossils like you Ancient Gods belong six feet under the seabed—rotting to sludge, turning to stone!"
"Don’t whine. This is your fate!"
"FALL—!"
Yet just as his magic sparked…
"*Whoosh*—!"
That "fossil" god snapped his head around. Ravenous, savage eyes—dripping with hunger—locked onto Agor.
Then…
"You bastard—!"
A jeering voice detonated in Sea God Agor’s skull!
A single middle finger jabbed high.
Why? Agor couldn’t say. But fury erupted in him!
All schemes forgotten, he hauled his boneless form and charged the "Ancient God"!
"Wow!"
"Isn’t this…?"
Trilobite turned his eyes subtly, using his side vision to watch the creature slowly coming closer…
"Star Constellation Jellyfish!"
"A giant one!"
Jellyfish were ancient creatures, having survived since the Cambrian period, which made them very tough and adaptable.
Although they were primitive as cnidarians, being primitive didn’t mean they weren’t deadly.
Some jellyfish had venomous stinging cells that could kill; even snake venom was nothing compared to them.
And the Star Constellation Jellyfish, which had appeared as early as the Cambrian period, was even more "ferocious" than modern jellyfish. It had several clear "tentacles," and people said those tentacles could trap prey and pump venom into their bodies!
This jellyfish in front of Trilobite, by his guess, had a width of about 1.2 meters, and it was much bigger than him overall, with full capability to catch him!
"So, he needed to make it forget how to use its tentacles right…"
"Then…"
Trilobite used 2000 magic points to cover himself in twenty layers of Ball Joint Armor!
Right after, Carcharocles spun around and swam toward the jellyfish!
If it was about poison, Carcharocles could have been easily beaten by this huge jellyfish.
The stinging cells with strong toxins on its tentacles were serious; getting caught would cause awful pain and lead to a painful death!
But who in their right mind would try to out-poison a jellyfish?
What Trilobite was good at was pulling the enemy into his own game and winning with his know-how!
"Grandson!"
Trilobite flipped his middle finger at the Star Constellation Jellyfish again, bringing up his family line!
A middle finger that could mock the whole world wasn’t something the "Star Constellation Jellyfish" could handle!
Nasty plans and scary magic disappeared in a flash; the "Star Constellation Jellyfish" rushed at Trilobite, leading with its broad forehead while dragging its tentacles behind.
It seemed to want to fight Carcharocles in the rawest way!
That fit right into Trilobite’s plan.
"Bang!"
"Ah—Woo—!"
After smashing the "Star Constellation Jellyfish’s" head flat hard, Carcharocles’s giant jaws clamped down on that round, soft, floating head!
"Slurp—!"
Tasty juices splattered into Trilobite’s mouth.
