Chapter 27: I’ve Had Enough! I Am a God! You Cannot Treat a God This Way!
"Ah!?"
Sankalabi was startled.
He was a Chaos deity bearing the title Thunder Scorpion!
Countless legions had turned to ash under his forbidden spells! Countless cities had crumbled into ruins beneath his massive pincers! Countless kingdoms had faded into history under his shadow!
Yet now, this bizarrely shaped human warship dared to hover before his very eyes!?
It even dared to—
"Vroom—!"
The colossal ship rammed into the Thunder Scorpion’s pincers?
"Hehe…"
Sankalabi didn’t dodge. Instead, he found it amusing.
He wanted to gauge the strength of this puny human creation.
But he quickly regretted his curiosity.
"Whoosh—!"
The human battleship "Giant God’s Radiance" didn’t just crash into him—it angled upward with tremendous force, slamming headlong into the joint of Sankalabi’s scorpion-shaped divine body.
"Thud!"
A heavy blow echoed!
Perhaps Sankalabi had crushed weaklings for too long. Before his arrival, his demon legion had swept everything clean. He faced only Order deities who could challenge him or fleeing foes. Thus, he underestimated smaller threats.
Like the "Giant God’s Radiance" before him.
Standing still with a mocking smirk while letting it hit him? Pure arrogance—utter recklessness.
Yet the "Giant God’s Radiance" was forged entirely from divine "bone" and "skin," its hardness rivaling a god’s body!
The impact felt like a thick rubber rod smashing into a kneecap.
"Roar—!"
Sankalabi bellowed in agony!
The strike inflicted little real damage but carried unbearable humiliation!
Sankalabi seethed!
"What are you!?"
"How dare you treat me like this!"
"I am a god!"
He snapped his massive pincers shut, crushing the human battleship!
—-
"Uh…"
“Ah—!”
“Boom!”
“Creak—!”
The sounds of overturning, shattering, and shocked shouts echoed throughout the "Giant God’s Radiance."
Though this giant battleship was as strong as a body, it was still too small.
When the Chaos deities got serious, it could still break and shatter!
“I… I told you… uh…”
“Angering the Chaos deities is pointless!”
The Old Man Prophet clung to a pillar, watching the cabin leak everywhere, with magical devices sparking and crackling. He cried out in despair.
But Sulya didn’t care.
“You call this angering?”
She hung from a pillar, looking down at the huge crack.
Through the crack, she saw the terrifying giant jaws of the angry Chaos deities, filled with tiny sharp teeth, like an abyss!
This enraged deity seemed ready to dump all the humans from the ship into its mouth to eat.
The female knight bravely stared into the giant jaws of the Chaos God, holding a spear that shone like the sun.
This weapon, made from divine bone, was different from others; it was filled with powerful “Holy Light from the Sun,” the nemesis of the chaos evil god!
“I’ll show you what real anger looks like!”
“Go—!”
“Whoosh!”
The light spear flew like an arrow from a bow, straight at the deity’s giant jaws!
Then…
“Roar, roar, roar, roar, roar—!”
A deafening roar of rage burst out!
Sankalabi had been a deity for so long, he forgot one thing—nothing should be looked down on!
A bee weighs far less than a human, but its sting can still cause awful pain to a grown adult.
Now, he had to swallow the bitter result of underestimating humans, and he roared in fury: “I’ve had enough! I am a god!”
“You can’t treat a god this way!”
Just as Sankalabi got ready to do something even more brutal and turn the battleship to dust, another hunter was set.
He knew ecology well and would never make that mistake.
—-
Trilobite lay low in a dip, using the land to hide as he crept closer to his target.
“This is Thunder Scorpion!”
"Of course, he had a more famous name—Blond Scorpion!"
The Blond Scorpion became famous from a BBC documentary called "Walking with Giant Beasts," making it one of the best-known ancient creatures besides dinosaurs.
These scorpion-like beings looked much like modern scorpions. They had a pair of small pincers for eating and large pincers for hunting and defense. Below their rectangular bodies were four pairs of walking legs, and the tips of their long tails swayed with scary tail spikes!
This design stayed the same for over three hundred million years, from the ocean to land, from rainforests to deserts. It was clearly a very successful "design"!
Trilobite felt a lot of pressure!
Luckily, Trilobite was no longer the Eastman fish that hadn’t fully grown its guillotine-like mouth.
He was now…
【Current Form: River Duncker’s Fish】
【Status: Full】
【Magic Power: 3000/3000 (regenerates 25 per minute)】
【Chaos Energy: 22/1000 (Insufficient Chaos Energy, unable to enter evolution interface)】
【Skill 1: Flip the World Off (100 magic power cost)】
【Skill 2: Ball Joint Armor (100 magic power cost)】
【Skill 3: Unavailable】
Duncker’s fish is a genus, not just one species.
The ocean ruler often shown in documentaries is the Tyrell Duncker’s fish, which serves as the model species. Depending on reconstructions, it could measure from four to seven meters long.
Besides the Tyrell Duncker’s fish, the genus also includes the Short-spined Duncker’s fish and the Dennison Duncker’s fish, among others.
Not all Duncker’s fish were that big.
Trilobite’s current form as "River Duncker’s Fish" was smaller, about 1.5 meters long.
"But that’s enough to deal with you, Blond Scorpion!"
"Besides…"
"Great teamwork! My ‘ally’!"
Trilobite was surprised to see a trilobite from somewhere attacking the Blond Scorpion.
"Huh, who would’ve thought there were such brave ones among the trilobites!"
"Well, I couldn’t let its courage go to waste!"
"Go—!"
The powerful tail of the River Duncker’s fish suddenly pushed forward, charging at the Thunder Scorpion that was tearing and torturing the trilobite.
"Ah—woah—!"
The big mouth opened wide, with guillotine-like "giant teeth," biting hard into the scorpion’s most deadly spot—the tail spike!
"Crunch—!"
The giant jaws sliced it clean off!
The tail spike dropped helplessly to the ocean floor.
"Roar, roar, roar, roar, roar—!"
The Thunder Scorpion shook in pain, letting go of the almost torn trilobite, and turned to face the attacker.
"So it’s you!"
"But… you don’t seem to understand!"
The Thunder Scorpion, Sankalabi, looked at his broken tail spike and fought back the pain.
"The terror of Chaos deities isn’t just about how their godly bodies are set up!"
