Chapter 22: The Ten Seconds Have Passed, Welcome Back the Giant God!
Time flew by.
About three months later…
"Boom—!"
In the deep sea, a massive "creature" suddenly appeared, stirring up violent currents; in panic, it continually smashed through the pillars and hills on the ocean floor, kicking up clouds of muddy sand.
Even the giant whales blocking its path were terrified by its mad rush.
They emitted short, panicked whale calls and scattered in all directions.
But most of them were still swept away by the currents caused by the colossal being, helplessly drifting along with the water flow.
What could lift such giant whales? It must be a Divine Body!
It had been this way before.
But now, it was no longer the same!
"Boom—!"
"Buzz—Buzz—Buzz—!"
The roar of engines erupted as a "battleship" moved like a living creature, swiftly swimming with its underbelly "Limbs."
Even in Trilobite’s original realm, this battleship would be considered magnificent.
Its length exceeded 200 meters, longer than an Ohio-class strategic nuclear submarine, yet its width surpassed any nuclear submarine, reaching over thirty meters.
However, relatively speaking, this vessel was quite flat, covered with thick armor, and its body was arranged in a regular three-part structure: left, center, and right.
This made it look more like a Trilobite than a long, slender fish.
The hull was made from mysterious materials, both lightweight and sturdy.
Even when speeding through the deep sea, crashing into natural giant pillars and hills, the hull remained unmarked.
Yet, these assurances did not ease the worries of the crew inside.
"Ah… Waa…"
"Mommy… Mommy…"
Children cried out in a chorus.
Women clutched their children tightly, while men and the elderly displayed sorrowful expressions.
Maybe this deep-sea battleship named "Giant God’s Radiance" was powerful, but could it be stronger than the one chasing them?
"Boom—Boom—Boom—!"
An even more massive force surged from behind the battleship, enveloped in a tremendous chaos aura, causing everything in its wake to wither and twist.
The whales, already scattered by the water flow, were transformed under the chaotic power into terrifying chaos deep-sea whales, screaming and swimming according to their new master’s guidance.
And their destination was the enormous pincers!
"That… that’s the chaos evil god! That guy just claimed to have become the seventy-first seat!"
"The deities of the Chaos Council, we… we are doomed."
As restless whispers spread through the cabin…
"Zii—!"
The cabin’s big door swung open, and several fully armed "giants" walked in.
They were very tall; with their heavy armor, they stood about 2.4 meters high, while the people inside were at least 2.2 meters tall.
On their shoulder pads and chest armor, they bore the mark of a blazing "sun."
The Solar Knights had arrived!
"Don’t panic, everyone!"
The leader of the Solar Knights took off his helmet, showing a strong, square face that looked very upright, tough, and reassuring.
"The Giant God will bless us!"
At that moment, an old man pushed through the crowd and came up to the Solar Knights.
He knelt on both knees, as if praying to a god.
"Great and noble knights!"
"We’ve heard of your Giant God."
"We’ve also heard news of you Solar Knights near the Endless Sea."
"But this time, we face the powerful chaos evil god, who has endless demons under him!"
"You stole the sacrifices meant for him, and that’s us."
"This evil god will see this as an insult! He won’t let us go; the endless demons will devour you all!"
"We old folks are ready to die; you noble knights can toss us out."
"Just protect our children, please!"
The sad, self-sacrificing words made the Solar Knight grin.
"Hehe, endless demons?"
"Evil god!?"
"Wonderful!"
"This is exactly what we wanted!"
Right then…
"Boom!"
"Bang!"
A slight noise came from the ship’s hull.
The demons had boarded!
"Go! Slay the demons!"
The leading warrior shouted, raising his arm, and the Solar Knights behind him lifted their left hands!
"Yes! Captain Dekhaka!"
"Buzz—!"
The great sword swung down.
"Ah—!"
The demon screamed as it fell onto the ship’s hull, its arm torn off by an even more brutal being; but it wasn’t swept away by the current, because an armored warrior grabbed it!
"You can’t escape."
The fierce light from the helmet made the demon feel fear.
Then…
"Thud—!"
The Solar Knight, holding a spear shining with Holy Light, stabbed it through the demon’s mouth and out its rear, making a demon skewer!
"Ah—uh—!"
The demon’s tough life let it survive even such a bad wound.
It struggled on the spear.
But it was useless.
Meanwhile, the Solar Knight held up the spear with the demon and laughed wildly, swinging it to stab other demons!
The other Solar Knights fought the same way.
The demons were wild and cruel.
But they were even wilder and crueler!
Plus, the Solar Knights used tactics!
"Boom—!"
More engines roared in the waters.
Several smaller submarines, shaped like Trilobites, shed their disguise and rose from the ocean floor.
"Boom—boom—boom—!"
Magical energy cannons blasted away, targeting those corrupted whales twisted by chaos.
These cannons fired pure "Holy Light from the Sun projectiles," driving away the Chaos Energy corrupting the whales and expelling the demons riding on them.
The demons scattered off the fleeing whales weren’t wasted; they were collected by small boats, where the Solar Knights pierced their bellies and tore off their limbs with their spears.
The demons’ cries of pain thrilled the Solar Knights, who hated chaos deeply.
In the heat of battle, they shouted, "Blood sacrifice for the Giant God! Offerings to the divine throne!"
This cruelty attracted their terrifying master—the Chaos Demon God who called himself the seventy-first of the ranks, Balrog!
"Hahaha…"
The loud laughter spread over the sea, this awful sound bringing chaos’s will, attacking everyone.
"Interesting…"
The massive Divine Body swiftly swam over from afar, its giant pincers spreading wide.
"Ah…"
"Ugh…"
Although the Will of Chaos was blocked and weakened by "divine-grade materials," it still seeped into the ship’s cabin.
The mortals were terrified, kneeling on the ground and screaming and crying madly.
At that moment…
"Buzz—!"
Light shone.
Lady Sulya wore close-fitting armor, and the powered high heels made her look taller and more graceful.
The glow from her fair hands made her seem like a holy, beautiful angel.
The light grew brighter, chasing away the fear in the "sacrifices" hearts.
But they were still afraid.
"Don’t be afraid!"
"Everything will end soon!"
"The time is almost here!"
The ship’s passengers stared at her in surprise; this living saint seemed to have no reason for saying so.
Meanwhile, the battle worsened.
"Bang—!"
Balrog swung his terrifying pincers, and the huge claws covered in sharp spikes quickly swatted away a deep-sea battleship.
His massive form lunged forward, sending ships firing uselessly at him tumbling into mountains.
"Boom—!"
"Bang!"
Crash sounds rang out one after another.
Surprisingly, most battleships did not break after such hits; only a few were cut in half.
But anyway, just one clash nearly destroyed the Solar Knights’ fleet.
Only the huge flagship, "Giant God’s Radiance," remained.
The giant, massive chaos deity—Balrog the Terror—blocked the path of the Trilobite-shaped dreadnought.
"Who is in charge here?"
The chaos deity’s words echoed across the waters.
Mortals often could not stand such power; their souls shaken by the divine words, blood flowed from their seven holes.
But the warriors practicing the "Solar Holy Light system" could resist.
As a living saint "favored" by the gods, Sulya feared no deity’s words.
She strode onto the battleship in her powered high heels, confronting the fearsome chaos evil god.
"It’s me!"
"Chaos fiend, got anything to say?"
Seeing this mere mortal dare disrespect him, Balrog grew even more amused.
"Hahaha, fascinating."
"I do admire your savagery and audacity."
"Why not worship me instead? Abandon your ignorant deity. How’s that sound?"
Sulya’s willow-leaf brows knotted as she spat one word:
"Scram!"
Then added for Balrog:
"Why don’t you take a piss and look at yourself?"
"You think a giant worm like you could replace our god?"
"Schwing—!"
Sulya drew her longsword, pointing it fearlessly at Balrog.
"Last chance."
"Leave these waters within ten seconds."
"Or die!"
Balrog froze momentarily.
Then erupted in laughter.
"Hahahaha…"
"You’re mad!"
"Never seen such insolence!"
"Don’t tell me another god would emerge beneath these calm waves!"
To his astonishment, Sulya nodded gravely.
"Exactly!"
"Ten seconds passed! Time’s up!"
"All hail the Giant God!"
She plunged her sword deep into the deck, gripping its hilt.
Just as the chaos evil god gaped in confusion…
"BOOM—!"
The earth shattered!
A Giant God dwarfing Balrog erupted from the City of Dimensions!
Its gaping maw and guillotine-like bony jaws clamped onto Balrog the Terror!
