Chapter 2: Flip the World Off!
The "sea snake" swayed its long body and swam aggressively toward Trilobite.
It roared in an abyssal language he couldn’t understand, and the grating sound made him uneasy.
But he still recognized the creature’s true form.
"Is that a conodont?"
"It can actually make noise?"
"Sounds awful!"
Trilobite identified the charging creature as a conodont—a jawless vertebrate.
Conodonts had soft vertebrae, bulging eyes, and circular mouths crammed with bizarre tooth-like spines, hence their name.
These tiny predators dated back to the Ordovician and must’ve encountered trilobites.
"Tsk, arthropod versus vertebrate… tough matchup."
【Stinky little brother, now it’s my time to shine.】
【First-kill reward: draw a random skill!】
The system might’ve been buttering him up, but Trilobite saw right through it.
"Heh, peddling what’s already mine?"
"Some blessings capitalist you are!"
【Tsk, busted.】
【Want it or not!?】
"Obviously!"
Trilobite hurled the dice without hesitation.
"Clatter—!"
The rattle of tumbling dice echoed in his mind.
"Bless me, Dice Goddess!"
"Buzz—!"
Light exploded behind his eyes as an image seared into his soul—the trilobite family tree.

Though the "Giant God" devoured the Chaos God and slurped down every chaos battleship, humanity caught no breather.
Chaos followers drew ever-stronger divine boons.
"Ugh…"
A bisected chaos follower knitted itself back together.
Its legs now faced backward, rear thrust forward, yet it cackled wildly, unfazed.
“Whoosh… Ha ha… Hahaha…”
“The newly risen God of Order was truly foolish!”
“The Chaos God he had devoured was one of the seventy-two gods of the Chaos Council, the son of the Deformed Tooth Serpent Andumali!”
“He had come for revenge in person!”
“How could a baby possibly win against an adult?!”
“You ignorant god, you were doomed!”
The female knight looked up, her pupils narrowing.
A massive, eel-like monster swam in from the distance, its elongated body seeming to have no end!
Its round, gaping mouth was filled with bizarre, terrifying sharp teeth!
Despair seized her heart again.
“That was definitely Andumali!”
Though known as the “Deformed Tooth Serpent” and of the lowest rank in the Chaos Council, Andumali was still a core figure among the chaos gods!
When he displayed his might in the primary material world, nothing in the mortal world could resist.
He could spit forth forbidden spells that collapsed hills, evaporated rivers, and turned fields to ash!
Ordinary gods could not withstand a single blow from him!
That was not a newborn god, like a helpless infant, that could stand against him.
Indeed, the freshness and vigor brought by the new god were soon consumed by the terrifying and murderous power of chaos.
As for the mortal army, Andumali didn’t even need to lift a finger!
“Uh…”
Just a glance at Andumali severely shook the female knight’s spirit.
She clutched her head and sank to the ground, her body trembling uncontrollably.
The oppressive weight of the Chaos deities pressed down on her, fear felt as heavy as stone, crushing her limbs and insides.
Some warriors had gone mad, crying and running aimlessly.
The bodies of chaos followers, chaos sea beasts, and traitorous ocean people, however, were rejuvenated under the influence of divine grace.
They loudly praised the grotesque god with evil chaos spells.
“Praise Andumali!”
“His whip lashed out at all!”
“His deformed teeth crushed everything!”
“When the end arrived, he was the first judge!”
“When all is Reinvention, he stands proudly at the top of all demons!”
The madness of the chaos followers and the evil magnificence of the Chaos deities froze Sulya’s hope.
Now, she could only watch helplessly as the "Giant God" glided above her, slowly moving towards the evil Andumali.
Sulya prayed to the Giant God.
“O great god of the new birth!”
“You were the last hope to defeat chaos!”
“There’s no need to worry about us, these tiny mortals!”
“Run!”
—-
The Chaos God Andumali looked at the giant beetle swimming slowly, filled with disdain.
“Was this the newly born God of Order?”
“Hehe, truly just a baby, with hardly any magic power at all.”
“Probably didn’t know any spells, eager to meet its end!?”
The form a deity takes in the primary material world is natural and hard to change; yet, the meaning of the divine body is limited.
Since they were gods, who resorted to physical confrontation?
Weren’t forbidden spells more appealing!?
Only an ignorant baby would have thought being strong gave it the freedom to do whatever it wanted.
“By devouring him, my status among the chaos gods would surely rise.”
“Then my son’s death would be worth it.”
Greedy Andumali forgot the pain of losing a son, as immense magic power gathered within him.
He planned to use forbidden spells to completely destroy the “baby” before him.
However…
“Grandson—!”
A furious shout echoed in his mind, and suddenly, a high, provocative middle finger appeared before Andumali.
With a loud bang, reason vanished, and his anger spilled out, making him forget the forbidden spell.
The rage pulled him forward, charging straight at the giant beetle!
“Boom—!”
The Trilobite and the conodont collided violently!

【Flip the World Off!】
【Description: This great yet ordinary family of Trilobites raised a “family tree” to flip off this cruel world, mocking its mercilessness and brutality. This middle finger stood for one hundred million years, only to meet the wrath of Gaia and its own glorious burial at the end of the Permian period.】
【When using this skill, the target will make a will check, and if they fail, they will recklessly charge toward the host.】
【Magic Power Cost: 100】
“Hey! Isn’t this just ‘taunting’? This set of armor really suits the Trilobite!”
The Trilobite had to admit that the system did a good job!
After raising middle finger at the conodont, the opponent forgot its mobility advantage and charged straight ahead.
A cartilage-based creature relying on athleticism trying to out-hardness the armored Trilobite…
Seeking death!
“Pfft—!”
The conodont got pinned against the edge of Trilobite’s shell.
“Just die!”
Trilobite slammed the conodont violently against a Large Stone!
“Boom—!”
The violent impact shattered the rock, collapsing it as the conodont’s thrashing churned muddy sand into a murky haze.
“Ugh…”
The conodont struggled.
Pointlessly.
Trilobite became the hammer, the stone the anvil—powerful momentum and counterforce crushing the conodont between them.
“Crack.”
The conodont’s body went limp. Though flexible, its vertebrae were fragile; breakage meant losing all ability to resist.
Now its slender form swayed uselessly like discarded rope, only faint mouthpart movements proving it still lived.
“Hmm, eating it alive then.”
Trilobite seized the conodont with his limbs, stretched his mouthparts wide, and shoved its head into his maw.
“Slurp—!”
The conodont was gradually sucked into his belly.
—-
“Boom—!”
Two colossal monsters collided head-on!
Violent currents erupted from the Giant Gods’ impact, scouring away corpses and mech parts littering the ground.
Floating rocks struck painfully!
Even this far from the giant beasts’ battlefield.
“Ugh…”
“Everyone! Grab onto something solid!”
The female knight drove her greatsword into the seabed, bracing against the torrential surge.
Yet joy blossomed within her!
This infantile new god possessed might surpassing the Chaos God—it had rammed the fiend against a mountain, shattering a peak towering nearly a kilometer above the abyss! The collapse birthed a storm of rock fragments and muddy sand!
“Rumble—!”
The sound of rocks collapsing echoed continuously.
The collapse of the underwater mountains kicked up mud and debris, creating an underwater “dust storm” that prevented the ocean people from seeing anything; but the dying wails of Andumali reverberated in everyone’s hearts.
“Roar—!”
With the desperate howl of the Chaos God, the heavy feeling of fear vanished in that instant!
Without a doubt, the Chaos God had fallen!
The demons were filled with despair and confusion, and the events unfolding before them had long surpassed their understanding.
“How could this have been…?”
“That was the true Chaos God, a member of the Chaos Assembly! Just like that… it was over?”
“It couldn’t be real, it had to be fake!”
“Respond to me, mighty Andumali!”
The chaos followers prayed in vain, but the Chaos God no longer answered them.
The mud and sand had dispersed.
The newly born Giant God stood before the collapsed mountain, stretched out its “sacred” and “ordered” body, showed all living beings the beauty of order, and declared its great victory.
The divine grace of the chaos followers was stripped away, and the zombies revived by the Chaos God turned back into corpses.
The demons fled in fear, their powers drained, as fragile as mere mortals.
…
On the other side, Sulya and the ocean warriors were immersed in the shock brought by the gigantic god, naturally knelt before the magnificent entity above them.
“We won! The Giant God had won!”
“The Chaos God, the Chaos Legion, just like that, were completely wiped out!?”
“Praise the Giant God! Great is the Giant God!”
As the leader, Sulya took a step further than anyone else.
“Look! The great deity spread its sacred limbs, the oracle was clearer than ever!”
“The god demanded sacrifices!”
The female knight raised her long sword high.
“Whoosh—!”
With a flash of light, a still-living chaos follower was beheaded.
“O great deity!”
She held up the chaos follower’s head, slowly knelt on one knee.
“May the blood and death of chaos evildoers bring you joy!”
“I would forever serve you as my lord!”
—-
Trilobite happily strolled along the ocean floor, having just eaten his fill, finished using the restroom, and left behind a pile of excrement.
He felt refreshed.
This battle had yielded rich rewards for him.

“Is there any need to ask!? Of course!”
Before Trilobite, a screen similar to “STEAM” appeared.
Various shell attachments, different pincers, gill opening systems, and tail muscle systems were all there in abundance.
“Trilobite was ecstatic.”
He felt a part of his soul leap with joy.
This was something that Trilobites longed for but could never obtain!
In the true history of the Earth, the Trilobite perished precisely because it never transformed its limb systems, leading to its eventual…
“Ah, let’s not bring that up, it’s sad.”
“But, I’m sorry.”
Trilobite skipped all the limb-related options directly.
“I’m not becoming an arthropod anymore!”
