    Chapter 447: World Travels

Upon discovering they had arrived in Hell, Elene and Partridge’s faces turned grim.

Despite their vast battle experience, they were acutely aware of the peril they now faced. Thrust into Hell without warning, they found themselves utterly unprepared.

“What… is this place?” Elene whispered, her voice laced with tension.

The ground beneath them cracked, giving way to a sea of molten lava. A towering flame demon, over ten meters tall, emerged from the fiery depths, its glowing eyes filled with malice.

Partridge shrieked, stumbling backward as the demon advanced.

“Ahhh! Help!” she cried, her face pale as the ground beneath her feet disintegrated further.

Elene, usually calm and composed, felt panic rising. She tried to move, but her body wouldn’t respond.

“What’s happening? Why can’t I move?” she thought, her brows furrowing as she assessed the situation. If she couldn’t evade the demon’s attack, death was inevitable.

Yet, amidst the chaos, a voice cut through, steady and reassuring.

“It will be alright,” Bai Yan said calmly.

Mu Ling, standing beside him, echoed the sentiment, “Stay calm. This isn’t the end.”

The two exchanged a knowing glance.

At that moment, Mu Ling also found herself immobilized. But instead of fear, a strange sense of relief washed over her.

“This… this is the manipulation of the Chosen One,” she realized.

Unlike the others, she understood what was happening. If the Chosen One had intervened, nothing catastrophic would occur.

Bai Yan’s situation was different. His body could move, but he too was being subtly influenced by the power of the “Babel Tower” game.

As a unique “incarnation,” Bai Yan was both a participant in the game and an anomaly within it. He could follow the predetermined script or break free at any moment, reshaping the game’s narrative.

But now, he chose not to resist.

“Let’s see where this takes us,” he thought, his lips curling into a faint smile.

Suddenly, the group found themselves soaring through the air, carried by an unseen force. Mu Ling held Partridge tightly, guiding her through the chaos as fiery demons closed in from all sides.

In one swift motion, Mu Ling drew her sword, releasing a blinding arc of light. The blade’s energy cleaved through the fiery demons and the molten lava below, splitting the landscape in two.

A rain of fire erupted from the sky, accompanied by unearthly screeches. More demons emerged, their malevolent forms descending with bloodthirsty intent.

Mu Ling’s blade flashed again, this time targeting a specific point in the sky. A hidden “turning point,” revealed by the “Babel Tower” game, appeared before her.

    “Strike it!” Bai Yan commanded.

Without hesitation, Mu Ling’s sword connected with the turning point.

    The world shattered.

In the blink of an eye, they were transported to a serene meadow filled with blooming flowers. The air was fragrant, and the sunlight from five gentle suns bathed the landscape in warmth.

    But the tranquility was deceptive.

“Don’t breathe!” Partridge shouted, her voice urgent.

Her transformed body allowed her to detect toxins, and the seemingly harmless flowers were releasing a poisonous gas.

Yet, the true danger lay elsewhere.

Mu Ling soared into the sky once more, her blade aimed at one of the suns. With a single strike, the “sun” bled, revealing itself as a massive, bloodshot eye. It glared down at them with malevolent intent, its presence chilling.

But before they could react further, the world collapsed once again.

In the new world, everything was black and white. Rays of light intertwined, creating a surreal realm. The group no longer existed as three-dimensional beings; instead, they became “words” on a flat plane.

Strange black <> swam in the light, their movements erratic and menacing. One such entity noticed the intruding “words” and darted toward them.

Mu Ling, now represented as a “word,” moved swiftly toward another “turning point.”

With each collision, the surrounding world fractured.

    The group found themselves

    inside a gigantic bubble,

    suspended in a vast, white

    void. Countless bubbles

    surrounded them, descending

    toward a dark abyss. Each

    bubble contained its own

    unique world, teeming with life

    and activity.

They watched in awe as one

    bubble showcased the rise and

    fall of a civilization. Inside,

    five-eyed octopus-like

    creatures evolved from a

    primitive society to a cyber

age, only for their bubble to

    shatter moments later, erasing

    their existence.

    Their own bubble began to

    crack.

    “Quick! There’s another turning

    point!” Bai Yan shouted,

    pointing.

    They leaped toward it, narrowly

    escaping as their bubble

    burst.

    In this manner, they traversed

    dozens of bizarre worlds, each

    more dangerous and

    incomprehensible than the

    last.

    Finally, they returned to Noah’s

    world.

    Inside the Giant Hive’s Cloning

    Facility, the supervisor froze.

    His instincts screamed of

    imminent danger.

    “It’s impossible… They can’t

    have returned!” he muttered,

    disbelief etched across his

    face.

    But there they were—Bai Yan,

    Mu Ling, Elene, and Partridge—

    standing unscathed.

    “I’ve located the target,” Bai

    Yan said calmly.

Mu Ling vanished in an instant.

    Seconds later, she reappeared

    beside the supervisor, her

    sword gleaming.

    Time resumed.

    “Snap.”

    The supervisor’s lifeless body

    collapsed, along with the

    machinery behind him. Pieces

    scattered across the floor as

    silence engulfed the room.
