    Chapter 1838 Divine Desire Paradise

    That is…

Lin Qiye noticed the crowd below, his golden eyes narrowing slightly.

Most of these people emanated the aura of secondary gods, but there were also several primary god-level beings. The thing carried in that black sedan chair was something even his spiritual power couldn’t clearly perceive.

Though called a black sedan chair, the object looked more like an enlarged and widened coffin, with several crossbeams extending from beneath. Several secondary gods carried it, moving slowly and steadily toward the depths of Antarctica.

These people’s backgrounds were quite complex. They definitely weren’t from any single divine country, but likely one of those organizations that had recently appeared in the Mist… was it [Hidden God]? Or [Paradise of Divine Desire]?

What were they planning to do here in Antarctica?

Just as Lin Qiye was pondering this, those figures suddenly stopped, seemingly communicating something among themselves before dispersing, as if searching for something in different directions.

Several secondary and primary gods departed, leaving only the weakest few to carry the black sedan chair. Lin Qiye initially wanted to take this opportunity to go down and kill all these people, as with his avatar’s power, he had almost no enemies below the Supreme level.

But considering the strange fragrance emanating from the black sedan chair, he abandoned this idea… After all, this was one of the most mysterious places on Earth, so caution was advisable.

After thinking for a moment, Lin Qiye locked his gaze on the direction one of the secondary gods had gone, narrowed his eyes, and silently followed.

“What kind of place is this… searched for so long and still can’t find it. Might as well go back,” Haren muttered as he walked alone on the ice, looking at the endless white surroundings.

“Wouldn’t it be better to go back and enjoy pleasure than waste time here?

What madness possessed the Holy Master to come to this godforsaken place… What a boring fool!”

Haren walked while cursing. Though he was a secondary god, his build wasn’t large—in fact, he was rather scrawny. His eyes were full of resentment and viciousness, like a drug addict who had overindulged.

He made a simple circuit of the area, then prepared to return and report. After all, he had no interest in what the Holy Master was looking for. The sooner he could persuade him to abandon this idea, the sooner they could leave.

Just as he turned to leave, the shadow cast on the ice suddenly shifted. A figure flashed behind him, a palm wrapped in golden light striking heavily at his temple!

This attack came too quickly and too suddenly. Haren only felt a heavy blow to his head before his entire being plunged into an endless dark abyss.

Lin Qiye steadily caught Haren’s falling body.

A brilliant magic array opened beneath his feet, swallowing the secondary god’s form. Then Lin Qiye’s appearance began to blur, and moments later, he had transformed into Haren’s likeness.

“This body is still convenient…” Lin Qiye sighed, experiencing the long-familiar transformation magic.

After briefly familiarizing himself with this body, he walked directly toward the black sedan chair. The distance from their position was considerable, and since Lin Qiye had acted extremely quickly without releasing divine power, no one had noticed.

By the time he returned to the black sedan chair, most of those who had scattered in other directions had also returned.

    “Did you find the entrance?”

A deep voice emanated from within the black sedan chair.

Hearing this voice, Lin Qiye was somewhat surprised. He had assumed the mysterious fragrance from the sedan chair came from an object, but it turned out to be a person… or rather, a god?

And unless he was mistaken, Lin Qiye felt the voice sounded somewhat familiar…

    Everyone shook their heads.

“Holy Master, we’ve been searching here for almost a day and still haven’t found the entrance… why don’t we go back?” a voice tentatively suggested.

Apparently, Haren wasn’t the only one with such thoughts.

    Holy Master?

What kind of title was that?

Lin Qiye glanced at the speaker who, like Haren, was scrawny with lifeless eyes. His condition seemed even worse than Haren’s, his voice drifting and weak.

The Holy Master’s voice sounded again, “That thing in the depths of the Time Labyrinth is more precious than any treasure in the world… Never mind one day, even if we search until death, we must continue!”

There was a ruthlessness in that voice. When he spoke of searching until death, everyone’s faces paled.

They knew the Holy Master wasn’t joking… if they couldn’t find it, they would never leave this world of ice and snow.

After a brief silence, the Holy Master spoke again:

“But rest assured, if we find that thing this time, everyone will be rewarded upon returning to [Paradise of Divine Desire]… How about tasting the ‘Forbidden Fruit’ once more?”

    “Forbidden Fruit?!”

Hearing these two words, everyone’s dull eyes immediately brightened. They licked their cracked lips, greed appearing in their eyes.

So it’s [Paradise of Divine Desire]…

Lin Qiye quickly concealed his true nature and joined the surrounding “excited” crowd, his eyes gleaming.

This organization had indeed only recently emerged in the Mist, and there wasn’t much intelligence about them. However, the speed at which they had grown after appearing was terrifying. Almost all the divine country survivors wandering in the Mist had joined this organization.

To investigate them, Lin Qiye had specifically sent [Knight] into the Mist to gather information, but there had been no response.

If he wasn’t mistaken, the one sitting in the black sedan chair was the supreme ruler of [Paradise of Divine Desire]… but how did they know about the existence of the Time Labyrinth?

“Let’s continue forward… It’s said that when approaching the entrance to the Time Labyrinth, temporal anomalies will appear. Everyone keep an eye on your surroundings.”

Under the Holy Master’s command, everyone moved forward again. The bright sunlight reflected off the ice, making the entire world appear blindingly white.

“Little Haren, do you think… we’ll really have a chance to taste the ‘Forbidden Fruit’ again?” a figure suddenly squeezed next to Lin Qiye and whispered.

Lin Qiye turned to look. The speaker was the same person who had suggested leaving earlier. Though he looked scrawny and weak, this fellow was actually a primary god.

“If the Holy Master says we can, then we probably can?” Lin Qiye replied in an equally low voice.

He didn’t know who this person was, but it seemed his current identity was quite familiar with him. This was undoubtedly a dangerous signal for Lin Qiye, as he hadn’t inherited the original’s memories.

“Tsk, tsk, that’s the ‘Forbidden Fruit’ we’re talking about…” The man turned to look at the black sedan chair behind them, a strange smile curling his lips. “Although [Paradise of Divine Desire] offers many pleasures to choose from, none can compare to the [Forbidden Fruit]… If I could taste it again, it would be worth staying here for a hundred years.”

Seeing the undisguised lewdness in his eyes, Lin Qiye’s expression immediately became rather strange.
