Chapter 1719
by 林方方Chapter 1719 [Chaos] and Michael
Sensing the aura from that black man, Michael’s expression immediately turned grim.
“The Crawling [CHAOS]?!”
“YES!” The black man snapped his fingers. He opened his arms and smiled enthusiastically, “But here, I hope you’ll call me Dr. Nyarla.”
Michael had no intention of chatting with [CHAOS]. He gripped the golden holy sword with both hands, and powerful divine energy instantly filled the room. The next moment, a brilliant sword light burst out through the doors and windows of the room!
Boom—!!
A dull explosion echoed above the hospital. A figure wearing a white coat landed lightly in the courtyard like a kite, smiling as he watched the golden figure slowly walking out, without a single scratch on his body.
Michael walked out of the room holding his giant sword. His gaze swept across the surroundings, confusion appearing in his eyes.
“What is… this place?”
He had just released such a large amount of divine power, yet the room wasn’t damaged at all. The spotless corridor reflected light in the sunshine. He looked back and saw a mysterious nameplate above the room.
On the nameplate was the shape of six wings.
“Welcome to the Mental Hospital for Gods,” said [CHAOS] in the courtyard, casually spreading his arms. “And you are my first patient, Seraph Michael.”
At the same time, a virtual panel appeared above Michael’s head, though he himself was completely unaware of it.
”
Room Number One.
Patient: Michael
Task: Help Michael treat his mental illness. When the treatment progress reaches the specified values (1%, 50%, 100%), you can randomly extract some of Michael’s abilities.
Current treatment progress: 100% (No treatment needed)
”
Seeing this panel, [CHAOS] raised an eyebrow.
“No treatment needed… It seems your mental health is quite good?”
“But it doesn’t matter. Being mentally healthy now doesn’t mean you will be in the future… After all, what I’m best at is manipulating minds. As long as I torture you until your mind breaks, then heal you bit by bit, I can still obtain your power.” [CHAOS] grinned, his big white teeth gleaming before Michael’s eyes.
“As one of the Three Pillars of Cthulhu, yet possessing the most sacred and powerful Seraph power… don’t you find that interesting?”
“What are you talking about?” Michael couldn’t understand [CHAOS]’s nonsense. “How did you silently lock me in here? What do you want to do?”
“This hospital inherently has the effect of concealing its aura. Even if you are ‘the Supreme,’ you can’t detect its existence… Of course, those Xia Gods on Earth are the same.” [CHAOS] clapped his hands.
“So, in the world, except for you and me, no one knows that I’ve secretly arrived on the moon and imprisoned you, the guardian of the moon… As for what I want to do,
Hehe, guess?”
“You want to release THEM?!” Michael’s pupils contracted slightly, and terrifying Seraph divine might raged outward!
All Cthulhu deities except the Three Pillars were sealed on the moon. If they were released, the only Heavenly Court on Earth would be no match for all the Cthulhu gods. If [CHAOS] really did this, Earth would be completely finished.
[The Black Goat] had once attempted to break the moon’s seal but ultimately failed… Now, [CHAOS] was making a comeback with the power of the Mental Hospital for Gods!
Under the brilliant divine might, the flowers and plants in the courtyard were instantly vaporized. The fierce wind shattered the glass of the nearby staff dormitory, making [CHAOS]’s white coat flutter violently.
[CHAOS] paid no attention to this and chuckled:
“It’s useless, my dear Michael… Now I am the director here, and you are just a patient. You can’t hurt me at all…”
Boom—!!
A six-winged giant shadow instantly flashed behind [CHAOS]. The scorching, holy golden sword struck the ground, and endless golden light engulfed the entire hospital.
A figure staggered out from the dust clouds and landed on the ruins of the courtyard. [CHAOS] looked at the hideous bloody gash on his chest, disbelief appearing in his eyes.
“How is this possible? How could you hurt me in this hospital?”
Flowing golden divine power wove into a sacred domain that spread from the feet of the angel with six pure white wings on his back. Michael held the giant sword with one hand, his beautiful face as solemn and majestic as an iceberg.
[Mortal Divine Domain]!
Patients cannot harm the director—this is the rule of the hospital, but there are always exceptions… like miracles.
Sensing the threatening aura emanating from Michael, the contempt on [CHAOS]’s face gradually faded. He pulled his hands out of his white coat, and the evil, frenzied Cthulhu divine might also spread out, even suppressing Michael’s Seraph divine might and occupying two-thirds of the entire hospital.
“As expected of the First Angel under Yelan… I indeed underestimated you.” He spoke calmly, “But do you really think you can defeat me?”
Michael didn’t speak. He gripped the holy sword, and the [Mortal Divine Domain] beneath his feet frantically resisted [CHAOS]’s power, yet was still steadily losing ground.
The power of the Three Pillars had always far exceeded that of the Supreme Gods. He had to join forces with the three Heavenly Sovereigns to deal with [The Black Goat], and now he was facing [CHAOS], whose combat power far exceeded [The Black Goat]’s.
Even so, he had no choice but to fight!
At the very least, he had to break this hospital and expose the battle’s aftermath. Only this way could he attract the attention of the Heavenly Court. Only with the intervention of the three Heavenly Sovereigns would there be hope to protect the moon’s grand formation!
Brilliant light burst from the Seraph’s eyes. He transformed into a golden afterimage and charged once more toward [CHAOS] who stood firm in the darkness!
An earth-shattering boom resounded from within the hospital once again!
Meanwhile, in the deep space above the moon’s surface, everything remained deathly silent.
The hospital hovered above the gray-white ground like a silent ghost, without the slightest trace of aura leaking out. As the hospital slowly descended, it drew closer and closer to the sealing formation at the center of the crater.
…
Earth.
Between the snow-capped mountains, a monk sitting cross-legged in meditation slowly opened his eyes.
“Has it begun…” he murmured, glancing at the moon in the sky.
A moment later, he withdrew his gaze. Those indifferent eyes showed no emotional fluctuation. Instead, they slowly closed, and he sat motionless in the wind and snow like a stone statue.
“But, it’s not time yet.”
