According to Qiu, the armory stored a huge supply of weapons. The patrol members could use it as a defensive stronghold against the Calamity Beasts, making it far safer than most places in the city.

Suddenly, Xia Yi heard the cries of a child. Following the sound, she spotted a young human girl.
The little girl was cowering fearfully in a corner. Beside her lay an unconscious adult man who appeared badly injured.
A heavy strike smashed into the Calamity Beast.
“ROAR!!!”
The beast let out a miserable scream. Its hardened hide was pierced by overwhelming force, its body snapping apart before crashing into the ground and leaving behind a massive crater.
After landing, Xia Yi did not continue pursuing the creature. Instead, she immediately made a decision. Chanting a spell, she condensed icy chains in her hand, hooked both the little girl and her father, and swiftly pulled them away together.

Xia Yi asked the stunned little girl before her.

“Are you alright?”
Xia Yi stepped closer to check on her. Fortunately, the girl had not been injured.
“What’s your name?”
“…A silver dragon?” the child blinked in confusion.
“Mhm.”
“Silver Dragon Big Sister, thank you for saving me! My name is Lian Lian!”
“How is your father?” Xia Yi asked.
“Daddy got hit by a scary monster and fell over. Then he fainted,” Lian Lian explained.
“Let me take a look…”
Xia Yi examined Lian Lian’s father. He had suffered some injuries, but thankfully none were fatal.
During this time, the father slowly regained consciousness. The moment he saw Xia Yi, he was startled.
“A dragon?! Lian Lian!”
“Daddy, I’m here!”
Lian Lian immediately ran into her father’s arms.

“Take this.”
Xia Yi tossed the handgun to him.
“I modified this pistol myself. The bullets are stronger than normal rounds, so they should be able to pierce a Calamity Beast’s body and temporarily disable it. Here’s a map as well. Head to the Public Security Patrol’s armory, you’ll be able to find rescue there.”
