“No.”

Lin Aoxue, still in her pajamas, quickly got up with her head lowered, not even glancing at Su Rui once.

Even though she had been brave the night before, now that she had calmed down, her courage had retreated.

Su Rui didn’t try to stop her, leaning against the bathroom doorframe, humming a little tune while listening to the sound of the water, looking perfectly at ease.

When Lin Aoxue finished her shower and walked out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel, she suddenly let out a startled cry!

Because Su Rui, who had been standing guard at the door, had already swept Lin Aoxue up in his arms and tossed her back onto the bed!

First thing in the morning, the room was thick with a springtime mood.

Half an hour later, Lin Aoxue pushed Su Rui away and said, “We can’t keep doing this.”

Su Rui nodded with deep feeling. “Exactly. If we keep going, I’m going to die.”

“Don’t say the word die,” Lin Aoxue was still catching her breath, the curves of her chest having been flattened by Su Rui’s.

“I mean it. I’ll either be suffocated or burned alive, either way it’s certain death.” Su Rui was being completely sincere.

The guilt in Lin Aoxue’s eyes deepened. “I’m sorry. Give me some time, I’ll sort myself out.”

Su Rui smiled with great “magnanimity”. “Do I look like someone who lets desire cloud his judgment?”

Lin Aoxue nodded very seriously. “You look very much like one.”
