Chapter 414 A Welcome Gift for the Yamamoto Group!

“We have already arrived near Tokyo Airport and are now preparing to land.”

The two fighter pilots didn’t seem to take the Huaxia private jet’s refusal to establish a communication link to heart, and were reporting to the ground control center via their communicators.

Standing at the front of the ground control center was a man in a suit — clearly the person in charge of the Yamamoto Group here. The fact that he could so easily commandeer Tokyo Airport’s ground control center was more than enough to show just how far the tentacles of the Yamamoto Group, the number one gang in the East, could reach.

”Good. You two, escort that plane and have it land on Runway 3.”

The man in the suit looked to be in his mid-thirties, holding a walkie-talkie and issuing commands. Deep down, he felt a quiet surge of excitement. As a mid-level member of the Yamamoto Group, he knew full well what Yamamoto Kiwasen meant to the man at the very top. If he could just complete this mission without a hitch, he was certain to earn special recognition from Yamamoto Taichiro — and from there, a promotion into the upper echelons of the Yamamoto Group would only be a matter of time.

But at that very moment, everything changed.

The wings of the private jet suddenly blasted out powerful jets of air, and the plane lurched away from the two fighter jets in an instant.

Up until that point, the private jet had appeared to be decelerating for a landing at the airport. Neither of the fighter pilots had expected that at a moment like this, a plane like that could still manage to accelerate.

From near-standstill to full speed — the private jet’s sudden burst of acceleration left the two fighter jets far behind in the dust.

”What’s going on? Why are they accelerating?”

Watching the plane bypass Tokyo Airport entirely and instead surge off into the distant sky, the man in the suit realized something was very wrong. Sweat instantly began pouring from his head, impossible to stop.

”Unknown reason — they’re also refusing to establish a communication link.”

The two fighter jets quickly throttled up as well, giving chase toward the plane carrying Yamamoto Kiwasen.

”Target is locked. Missile strike can be initiated at any time.”

One of the fighter pilots said this while simultaneously entering the coordinates of the private jet ahead into the missile launch command system.

Hearing those words, the man in the suit nearly went crooked with rage.

”Are you an idiot? Mr. Yamamoto Kiwasen is still on that plane, and you want to launch a missile strike? Do you have a death wish? If you want to die, don’t drag me down with you!”

The man in the suit was utterly exasperated. If that missile were fired, there was no telling whether Yamamoto Kiwasen would survive the blast — but he himself would absolutely be dead.

”Who is Yamamoto Kiwasen?” The pilot actually looked almost endearingly clueless.

”He’s Mr. Yamamoto Taichiro’s son! You idiot!” the man in the suit roared.

Upon hearing this, the dim-witted pilot was so frightened that his hands and legs went weak — he nearly lost control of the aircraft entirely. The plane swayed and wobbled, looking for all the world like it was drunk.

”Damn it, keep flying! Wherever they go, you follow!”

At this point, the man in the suit had no good options. All he could do was have the two fighter jets maintain their escort. With Yamamoto Kiwasen on board, he didn’t dare make any aggressive moves.

The man in the suit strode quickly out of the control center, staring speechlessly in the direction where the plane had disappeared. All he could do now was pray in silence.

At the controls of the plane, Kim Tae-joo’s face was ice-cold, yet inside his blood was boiling with excitement.

He knew exactly what he was doing. He knew what was going to happen in the next few minutes. Following the Sun God was nothing short of endless thrills.

Su Rui’s sharp gaze was fixed on the night sky ahead, a keen edge gleaming in his eyes. “Drop altitude, lock onto the target, fly erratically for five minutes — then switch to autopilot after five minutes.”

Kim Tae-joo complied without a moment’s hesitation, and the plane immediately plunged sharply downward.

Yamamoto Kiwasen had already assumed the danger had passed and was resting with his eyes closed, waiting for the plane to land. But when the plane suddenly surged into a violent acceleration just as it had been decelerating, the crushing force of the g-load nearly made him seethe with fury.

They were already at this point — what kind of nonsense were these two Huaxia pilots still trying to pull?

Zhang Ziwei was also hit by a wave of dizziness from the g-force, but she showed no sign of panic whatsoever. Instead, she quietly moved her right hand to her lower abdomen and silently fastened her seatbelt.

Yamamoto Kiwasen launched himself to his feet and crossed several meters in an instant, delivering a heavy kick to the cockpit door.

The door was made of alloy. If the cockpit was locked, there was simply no way to force it open from the outside by human strength alone.

Yamamoto Kiwasen kicked it several times and found the door completely unresponsive — not even a single dent appeared.

He didn’t know whether these two Huaxia pilots had lost their minds, but the sense of dread in his chest was growing stronger by the second.

”Do you want to die? Don’t think I won’t cut you both down where you sit!”

Yamamoto Kiwasen was screaming and pounding furiously on the cockpit door, but it had absolutely no effect.

Meanwhile, Zhang Ziwei was gripping the armrest tightly to brace against the g-force, her nerves stretched to the absolute limit.

What came next would determine whether she could successfully escape from this plane.

Yamamoto Kiwasen stepped back two paces, then charged at the cockpit door again with full force.

At that very moment, Kim Tae-joo yanked the control stick, and the top-of-the-line private jet suddenly executed a full 360-degree roll in the opposite direction.

This was the kind of maneuver only a seasoned, battle-hardened fighter pilot could pull off. Yet under Kim Tae-joo’s control, this extraordinarily difficult move was executed with such effortless ease it looked almost casual.

The pilots of the two escorting fighter jets behind them were left nearly slack-jawed — because the passenger jet was now tumbling end over end in a continuous roll. What was happening? Had it lost control?

There were four people on this plane in total. Three of them had already fastened their seatbelts. The most unfortunate one was naturally Yamamoto Kiwasen, who not only had no seatbelt on but had been charging forward with full momentum.

Even with his peerless martial prowess, he was no match for the violent centrifugal force generated by the rolling aircraft.

In almost an instant, he lost his footing and was hurled hard into the cabin wall. That single impact nearly made him cough up blood.

Zhang Ziwei, though she had never experienced anything like this and was dizzy and on the verge of vomiting, was at least protected by her seatbelt and wouldn’t be flung around the cabin.

Kim Tae-joo began to fully unleash his erratic flying technique. The massive fuselage rolled, pitched, and dove in turn, with every change in direction and speed completely unpredictable — never giving Yamamoto Kiwasen a single moment to stand steady. The powerful centrifugal force even prevented him from grabbing onto a seat back to stabilize himself.

Having undergone specialized training, this level of rolling was no more than a light drizzle to Su Rui and Kim Tae-joo. Su Rui held onto his seatbelt, watching the figure tumbling back and forth on the screen, and said coldly, “Increase the intensity of the erratic flight.”

The moment he finished speaking, Kim Tae-joo accelerated again.

This kind of maneuver was probably only achievable by the top ace pilots in the air forces of various nations.

Under this second burst of acceleration, Yamamoto Kiwasen’s body was violently hurled from one end of the cabin to the other, his head slamming hard into the rear cabin door.

Nearly five straight minutes of violent, erratic flight left Zhang Ziwei with blood rushing to her head, on the verge of losing consciousness, while Yamamoto Kiwasen was flailing in all directions, desperately trying to stabilize himself.

      Thud.

But as he was thrown about, Yamamoto Kiwasen involuntarily coughed up a mouthful of blood. He suddenly felt the strength inside him draining away at a rapid pace.

This loss of strength was far beyond ordinary exhaustion. He had already realized that under the violent shaking and rolling, the “miraculous healing medicine” he had taken earlier had worn off ahead of schedule.

Under normal circumstances, this “miracle medicine” would have sustained him for the better part of a day. But through Su Rui’s unintentional intervention, its effects had expired several hours early.

He had already been gravely wounded to begin with, and the forbidden jutsu had nearly wrung out the last of his life force. Now that the healing medicine’s effects had faded, Yamamoto Kiwasen instantly lost all capacity to resist, like a dead dog, and was tossed around the cabin at the plane’s mercy.

Watching Yamamoto Kiwasen lose his strength, Su Rui seemed somewhat surprised. The corner of his mouth curved into a faint smile.

His original plan had been to use the erratic flight to disorient Yamamoto Kiwasen and create distance between him and Zhang Ziwei, then move in himself to fight him while having Kim Tae-joo rescue Zhang Ziwei. But now, with the healing medicine having worn off, none of that plan was necessary anymore.

”Lock onto the coordinates of the Yamamoto Group headquarters building and engage autopilot.” The moment Su Rui finished saying this, exactly five minutes had passed since he had given the order to begin the erratic flight — not a second more, not a second less.

In those five minutes, they had crossed nearly half of Tokyo.

”That private jet is flying erratically — what do we do?”

The two escorting fighter jets were completely at a loss. They couldn’t attack, they couldn’t land, and all they could do was watch helplessly as their target ran wild.

”Follow them!” The man in the suit in the ground control center let out a furious shout, equally out of ideas. This situation was just too damn tricky to handle.

At this moment, Su Rui unfastened his seatbelt and stood up. He pulled a parachute pack from under his seat, strapped it on, and said, “Depressurize. Prepare to open the cabin door.”

Since a passenger jet is pressurized at altitude, the side cabin door cannot be opened under those conditions. To accomplish this in the air, the plane would need to descend to a lower altitude and depressurize first.

Fortunately, the plane’s current altitude was already quite low — barely a few hundred meters.

Su Rui then pulled open the cockpit door, walked over to Yamamoto Kiwasen, and delivered a heavy kick to his lower back.

That single blow knocked the already dead-dog-like Yamamoto Kiwasen completely unconscious.

The cabin door slowly opened, and a fierce gust of wind roared into the cabin, making it nearly impossible to breathe.

Su Rui walked over to the dazed Zhang Ziwei, unfastened her seatbelt, and pulled her tightly into his arms.

Kim Tae-joo also stepped out of the cockpit and glanced at Yamamoto Kiwasen, as if seeking Su Rui’s opinion.

”I’d very much like to kill him — but keeping him alive might prove more useful to us.” Su Rui’s eyes gleamed with a sharp light as he spoke.

He knew that bringing Yamamoto Kiwasen along would invite considerable risk and difficulty. But fortune favors the bold. If he wanted to accomplish a greater goal, he had to be prepared to take risks.

Kim Tae-joo raised no objection and tucked Yamamoto Kiwasen under one arm.

”The Yamamoto Group’s headquarters building will be split in two in twenty seconds. Consider it a little welcome gift from me to the Yamamoto Group.”

With those words, Su Rui held Zhang Ziwei in his arms and leaped directly out of the cabin.
