Sister Jue nodded slightly. “So that’s the truth?” She stepped closer to look down the pit, confirming that Su Li and Luo Jun were indeed digging downward and not involved in some other scheme.

“My name is Jiang Shuijue, and I’m from the ‘Golden Convergence Center Building.’ This is Ling Yi, and this is Gu Mingfeng.”

As she spoke, she introduced the two men beside her. The silent man in his thirties holding a sword was Ling Yi. The other tall, burly young man holding the gigantic iron hammer was Gu Mingfeng.

“I’m Xu Haishui.” Xu Haishui sighed in relief, glad that Jiang Shuijue believed him. He quickly introduced his companions.

Everyone knew about the Golden Convergence Center Building except Xu Xuehui. It was a 36-story skyscraper located about five kilometers from the Purple Wind Building.

Jiang Shuijue said, “We also saw this floating island from a distance, found it strange, and tracked it down to see what it was. We didn’t expect to find you under siege by monsters. My ‘Mist Maze’ won’t last much longer; it will dissipate soon and can’t be used again for a while. Since you are trying to stop this Blood Crystal Beast, we will lend you a hand.”

“What monster is that? It must be at least Level 7—” he cried out.

He had fought Level 6 Leader-class monsters before, and none could knock him away like this with a single blow. The only possibility was that the silver-armored monster’s strength surpassed that of a Level 6 Leader-class monster.

Gu Mingfeng’s instant defeat shocked the group. Jiang Shuijue let out a sharp cry and spread her hands. Suddenly, a dense mist rose around them.

After a short period of time, her “Mist Maze” could be used again.

Although the silver-armored monster was powerful, it was still trapped in the “Mist Maze.” It couldn’t break free until the Mist Maze dissipated.

The group breathed a sigh of relief. Ding Longyun hurriedly looked down. “How far have you dug? Xuehui, how much more is left?” he asked anxiously.

However, Elite Beasts were numerous, and killing a few would often lead to acquiring a new ability.

The silver-armored monster that had just appeared was too formidable. It charged like a silver tank. Even Gu Mingfeng, with his rock-hard skin, was knocked away. Its strength surpassed that of a Level 6 Leader-class monster.

A Level 7 Leader-class monster? No wonder it was so powerful and why the group couldn’t stop it. This was Su Li’s first encounter with such a creature.

The three of them couldn’t fight the silver-armored monster. Yet, Ding Longyun had called out to Su Li, thinking he could handle the silver-armored monster?

She had no time to think further. Su Li activated “Spider Walk,” narrowly avoiding the monster’s charge.

The Silver-Armored Giant Beast not only had off-the-charts defense, but its numerous centipede-like legs also made its movement terrifyingly fast. Its attack power was immense. It was virtually flawless.

Su Li dodged past the charging Silver-Armored Giant Beast. He swept the Dragon Rhino Sword along the monster’s body.

Under his immense power, the Dragon Rhino Sword made a spine-tingling screech across the silver armor. A clear, deep scratch appeared, nearly two centimeters deep, but it failed to completely cut through the thick silver armor.

The silver armor’s thickness exceeded two centimeters.
