I Left the State-Sanctioned Party, and Eventually Became a Hero in the Frontier ~ A Tale of a “Scoundrel” Starting Over as a Hero ~
“You are hereby expelled from this party, effective today!”
Those words were suddenly directed at Rolo, my childhood friend and closest companion.
Though I protested the outrageous decision, the party leader Albert remained unyielding in his stance. Disgusted by his high-handedness, I—Yulg—decided to leave the State-Sanctioned party Silhasta along with my exiled friend Rolo.
A party that would cast out a comrade without reason, no matter how prestigious, was not one I wanted to be a part of. I declared our departure and returned to our hometown of Marhas in the eastern frontier with Rolo.
A few days after the incident, a girl departed the capital in pursuit of us.
It was Fimia the “Saint,” one of the key reasons Silhasta had been chosen as a national party.
Naturally, Silhasta—and especially Albert, who harbored feelings for her—was thrown into chaos.
By casting out a so-called “useless” member, they had lost both a core party member and the one Albert loved.
Frustrated that things were not going as planned, Albert began to pursue Fimia, believing that nothing could begin without her.
Meanwhile, Yulg and his companions had begun working as adventurers to investigate the strange occurrences around Marhas.
With the renowned strength of Yulg and Rolo, and now joined by Fimia, their new party Mercia gradually made a name for itself in the frontier.
This is the tale of Yulg, the adventurer who would one day come to be known as the “Hero of the Frontier.”
