Chapter 354
by fanqienovelChapter 354: Grasping the Giant God’s Handle
In the Ether Sea, a fierce battle raged with one against two.
“Roar—!”
Roars and torrents rushed wildly through the ether.
The Ether Emperor was locked in a life-and-death battle with the Bird Fish Gods!
The Bird Fish Gods had intended to take down the nearby mortal fleet but instead attracted a powerful deity.
This deity was one they had never encountered before.
Yet, even in the Endless Ether, such power ranked among the "High Tyrants"!
They charged through the torrent of energy, attempting a frontal confrontation.
However, the Bird Fish Gods, knowing their Divine Bodies couldn’t match the strength, immediately scattered and kept their distance, planning to launch powerful directional forbidden spells.
But…
The four paddle fins suddenly flapped, making the massive Divine Body "dance" through the water, turning with almost zero turning radius to toy with the enemy.
In contrast, the "Bird Fish Gods" became the ones being toyed with.
They desperately rotated their bodies, trying to keep up with the movements of the "Ether Emperor."
But each time, they only caught a glimpse of a paddle fin or that short tail.
“Damn it!”
“How could such a massive Divine Body have such agility?!”
“I won’t believe it!”
“Ether’s Tooth: Droplet!”
The two Bird Fish Gods opened their beaks lined with sharp teeth.
However, they had no intent to bite; they couldn’t even reach them.
“Buzz—!”
“Buzz—!”
Magic gathered at their mouths, forming two orange-red "droplets" that swiftly swam toward the "Tyrant" gracefully navigating the sea.
Being agile alone was useless.
The magic "Ether’s Tooth: Droplet" was super-concentrated magic; it tracked a set prey at high speeds and crashed into them, causing violent explosions!
That four-paddle-finned "Tyrant Deity," while able to compete among top tyrants, was extremely agile and fast, but no matter how fast they were, they couldn’t outrun the droplets!
Sure enough…
“Boom—Boom—!”
A violent roar exploded in the Ether Sea!
The massive shockwave sent the Bird Fish Gods tumbling backward.
The overwhelming energy churned in the Ether Sea, creating huge bubbles that blurred vision, muddled scents, and disrupted magic perception.
"Good!"
"This was magic that surpassed forbidden spells!"
The magic "Ether’s Tooth: Droplet" was originally a forbidden spell, but in the hands of the skilled magic user "Bird Sparrow God," it possessed power beyond that level!
Even a high Tyrant in the Endless Ether would have been heavily injured by a single hit.
Not to mention, this was two hits!
The Bird Sparrow Gods were overjoyed!
They quickly flapped their caudal fins and rushed towards the area churned up by the violent torrent of energy.
Below, they aimed to tear apart the flesh and blood of that detestable Tyrant with their jaws and sharp teeth, delivering the final blow!
“Once you are hit by our magic, I’ll see if you still…”
“Ah?”
Their pride turned to startled sighs.
“Roar—!”
Blood-red jaws emerged from the chaotic bubbles!
“Is that all you can do with magic?”
The Tyrant’s eyes glimmered with taunt.
Yet inside, it felt relief.
“Great is the Giant God!”
“He enlarged my Divine Body, letting me store more Magic Power within!”
“Because of this, I had enough Magic Power to unleash two ‘Ether’s Tooth: Droplet’ spells, neutralizing the Bird Fish Gods’ magic while disrupting the environment of the Ether Sea!”
“This gave me the chance for close combat!”
In a blink, its giant jaws charged toward the Bird Sparrow God!
“Die—!”
“Ah—!”
The massive jaws bit down hard, sinking into the front end of a Bird Fish God’s body.
That was the front end of its body cavity, like its neck!
“Puff—!”
The Ether Sea was immediately dyed deep red with divine blood.
The unfortunate Bird Fish God had its front abdomen torn open, a huge gap appearing.
“Ugh…”
It struggled in pain, unable to move, dragging a trail of bloodied bubbles as it sank toward the Bottom of the Ether Sea.
“Damn it!”
Its companions showed no intention of rescue; instead, they turned and fled.
It’s not that easy!
“Boom—!”
The Ether Emperor ignored the nearly dead Bird Fish God.
The wounds were too severe; even a deity at full power couldn’t recover in an instant. Not to mention he’d just unleashed a powerful forbidden spell, draining much of his magic.
What’s more…
“Whoosh…”
“Swoosh…”
Countless gray shadows, led by a crimson streak, charged toward the sinking deity.
Albert Drake’s ether Fleet!
She relished delivering the final blow!
“Boom—!”
The Ether Emperor beat his four paddle fins furiously, closing in on his second target!
“Agh—!”
His colossal maw gaped wide, snapping straight for the evil god’s tail!
“Crunch—!”
“ROAR—!”
The Ether evil god shrieked as he thrashed his divine form, straining to swim forward with all his might yet moving nowhere.
His severed tail sank inexorably toward the Bottom of the Ether Sea.
Desperately he writhed and flailed, fighting to surge ahead.
But struggle proved futile.
The front half of his divine form began its slow descent.
“Hiss—!”
The ferocious Tyrant closed in once more.
Ravenous eyes fixed upon the defiant evil god who dared challenge his rule.
“Hungry… So hungry!”
The Bird Fish God’s final sight: the giant jaws emblem blazing on the Ether Emperor’s brow.
And then…
“GULP—!”
A devouring maw blotted out everything!
“Blood sacrifice for the Giant God! Flesh offering for the feast!”
—-
“Damn it!”
Samikina cursed fiercely in her heart.
Though her curses were fierce, she felt deep fear inside.
“Star-Eater Plutonium Dragons!?”
“How could they appear in this place?!”
“They were still holding my subordinate officials!”
“This… Was it a coincidence?!”
She hoped everything was just a coincidence, just bad luck.
But unfortunately, common sense told her it was impossible.
“If it wasn’t a coincidence, then there was only one possibility!”
Samikina suddenly felt like she was "trading pieces" with the Giant God.
She made a move, and the opponent immediately countered with a prepared scheme!
It was as if a great net spanned the heavens and earth, binding her and all the demon gods in this battle tightly!
And like an evil spider weaving this net, it was the Giant God!
“No wonder you could make Barbatos so wary!”
“But…”
“Don’t be afraid!”
“I had already guessed your weak spot, and I had a firm grasp on it!”
Under Samikina’s gaze, Amon limped over to the Tree of Reversal, which contained Saraph’s Soul!
“Look!”
“Saraph was very important to you, wasn’t she?!”
“Now, I had the hostage!”
“And according to the time, the powerful ‘Bird Fish God’ sent by Barbatos was about to arrive!”
“As long as I could hold out, my chance of victory rose to one thousand percent!”
“Despicable or not, the victor bore no blame!”
