Chapter 345
by fanqienovelChapter 345: Do We Need to Explain?
The square before the main hall held two opposing groups facing each other.
“Yu Hao, you’re the God of War!” the Divine Clan shouted angrily at the man standing with the Feng Clan. “How dare you side with the Sin Clan on a matter concerning the Three Realms?!”
“That’s not—” Yu Hao glanced between the furious gods and the bristling Feng Clan, raising his hands placatingly. “This situation remains unclear, and the battle’s tide could still shift. We mustn’t turn on allies now!”
“Allies?” A True God sneered. “The Demon God awoke from their ranks! Since when do we trust the Sin Clan?”
“The Heavenly Dao cast them out for good reason!” another god spat. “The Long Clan fell to darkness and birthed the Demon King. Other Sin Clans harbored demonic followers. Now the Feng Clan hides a Demon God!”
“They pretend to fight the demon tribes while sheltering a traitor!”
The Feng Clan’s members flushed with rage. “Lies!” one shouted. “Long Ting slaughtered our Thunder Phoenix! We’d never ally with murderers!”
“We battled the demon tribes before you cowards descended from the Divine Realm!” another phoenix snapped. “If we wanted to join them, why wait millennia?”
“Who among you defended Heaven’s Sacred Mountain’s seal while you cowered above?”
The gods reddened. “Then explain the Demon God! He was one of yours!”
The Feng Clan stiffened. None could deny Feng Rong’s shocking transformation from clan awakener to Demon God. “We know no more than you,” Feng Qing said coldly. “But we are no demons’ pawns.”
“Empty words!” A god pointed accusingly. “Your so-called sect master shelters you here. Perhaps she shares your treachery!”
“You You is blameless!” Yu Hao interjected hastily, noting the disciples’ gathering murderous intent. “She led the sealing efforts! Questioning her is madness!”
Lord Sang Feng stepped forward, undeterred. “She wielded the Demon God’s power to kill Long Ting! Let her explain that!”
“Only scheming minds suspect others!” Feng Qing roared.
“Then let her deny it herself!” Sang Feng challenged.
“Gladly!” The Feng Clan surged toward the hall—
CRACK!
A sword light split the ground before them, carving a ten-meter fissure.
“TRY ENTERING.”
The crowd froze. A white-clad woman emerged, sword gleaming. Though delicate in features, her aura burned like tempered steel. More women poured from the hall—dozens, then hundreds, until the square overflowed with sword-wielding Sisters.
“Who demands explanations?” Shui Yan’s blade gleamed. Steel whispered as countless swords unsheathed in unison.
The gods gaped at the sea of determined women. Even the Feng Clan stood speechless.
Yu Hao scrambled aside. “This wasn’t my idea!”
A beat of silence. Then—
“WE WERE WRONG!”
Demons? Who cared about demons when facing an army of enraged Sisters?
