Chapter 334: Legacy of the Divine Temple

The surrounding purple light swept toward You You like an inescapable net. With no other options left, she clutched Little Flame tightly and shut her eyes.

No hope left. Just waiting for death.

As the lethal purple light was about to slice her apart, her hands suddenly chilled. Something flew out with a metallic clang. The expected pain never came. When she opened her eyes, she found golden contract spells swirling around her like a protective tornado. The symbols looked oddly familiar.

Glancing at her wrist, she recognized Yuan Papa’s spell glowing there. The rotating golden barrier had halted the purple light’s advance completely.

“Yuan Papa, you’re amazing!” she breathed, heart pounding.

The spell circle expanded violently, shoving the purple light backward until both forces shattered into glittering particles. The hall filled with golden and purple sparkles as the freezing cold vanished. The original gentle glow reappeared, bathing everything in rainbow hues.

Catching her breath, You You noticed the glow now funneled toward the hall’s front. Approaching cautiously, she spotted a floating figure within converging light.

    “The Saint?” Hope surged.

But up close, it was just a mirror-smooth crystal reflecting prismatic light. A shadowy figure seemed trapped inside. As she leaned closer—CRACK! The crystal exploded into shards.

“What?!” She scrambled backward, expecting traps. Instead, a white-clad woman materialized from the debris. Moon-pale skin, jade-like radiance, eyes holding both divine frost and… familiarity.

The woman’s gaze swept over her—first detached, then shocked. Tears spilled from starry eyes as she floated down, caressing You You’s face. “You… finally returned.” Her voice trembled with centuries of longing.

You You’s chest ached. She reached to embrace the stranger, who dissolved into her arms like mist. “Xuan Ling?” The name surfaced instinctively.

“Welcome back…” The whisper faded with the disappearing figure. Only a palm-sized crystal remained, bearing a golden sun sigil. Energy unlike anything she knew—not spiritual, celestial, nor divine—flowed into her at will.

“An illusion?” She stared at the crystal. Had Saint Xuan Ling perished, leaving this legacy? Could this stabilize the Demon Realm’s seal? Why did the vision call her “You”?

The temple doors groaned open. Finding no trace of Xuan Ling through divine sense scans, You You exited. Beyond the dissolving light barrier, Yu Hao waved frantically.

    “Well? Saw the Saint?”

“Not… exactly.” A crash interrupted them. The temple collapsed into stardust, condensing into a golden beam that shot into her crystal.

Cold energy flooded her veins. Knowledge erupted in her mind—blueprints, coordinates, celestial alignments.

“What happened?!” Yu Hao gaped at the vanished temple.

    She turned slowly. “Yu Hao.”

    “Yeah?”

“I think… I just learned how to open the Divine Realm.”

    “…”
