    Chapter 250: The Strange Formation

The three walked in and found the cave wasn’t large. They could see everything at a glance—empty space resembling a natural hollow.

“Clear formation fluctuations emanate from this stone wall. It must be the formation’s core,” Yuan Qi gestured toward the cave’s deepest part, casting a wind spell.

A gust suddenly blew away the dust, exposing intricate talisman patterns faintly forming a shape. Unlike typical flowing formations, this looked like crude cave art. If not for Yuan Qi’s expertise, they’d never have recognized it as a formation.

“But… this core’s design differs entirely from any formation I know—Divine, Spiritual, even Celestial. It’s its own system,” Yuan Qi frowned. He’d studied formations for years yet found no link to this. “So I still don’t know what this is…”

“Sealing Void Formation!” You You interrupted.

Yuan Qi and Feng Rong gaped. “You’ve seen this before?”

“No.” She shook her head. “The name… just came to me.” Since summoning the Wheel Mark for the Soul Beasts, odd knowledge sometimes surfaced. Seeing the pattern, “Sealing Void Formation” flashed in her mind—along with the sense that most of it remained hidden.

Feng Rong and Yuan Qi exchanged looks but didn’t press. “If you recognize it,” Yuan Qi asked gently, “do you know its purpose? Is this truly the two realms’ entrance?”

“No idea.” Only the name had come.

“It must be!” Old Divine Thought burst from the Divine Calling Order, pointing at the seal. “Ming Ye’s obsession with breaking this proves its importance!”

“But such a shabby formation as the realms’ entrance?” You You eyed the crude cave. “Seems underwhelming.”

“You lack formation knowledge,” Yuan Qi explained. “This appears simple but holds profound complexity, harmonizing with the Heavenly Dao. I once tried analyzing it but failed. If not aged, even I might’ve missed it.”

    “That hardcore?!” You You blinked.

“And unbreakable. Only a god’s full power might affect it.”

Relieved, You You stepped forward to pat the wall. “Then this seal’s safe. No way it’ll—”

Her hand met air. Stumbling forward, wind roared past her ears as darkness swallowed her, leaving two shouts behind:

    “You You!”

    “Yu You!”

    You You: “……”

    So much for unbreakable.

    ————————

Darkness enveloped her. Shapes brushed past, icy and fleeting.

She’d likely been sucked into the seal—alone. As she wondered, Old Divine Thought’s panicked voice erupted:

“Demonic Energy! Everywhere!” Clutching the Divine Calling Order, his form flickered. The thick black mist dwarfed even Ming Ye’s.

“This black mist is Demonic Energy?” You You channeled her power. Instantly, the fog vanished, revealing a Passage leading inward.

“Better now?” She lifted the Order.

    “Useless!” He trembled violently. “Too much… I’ll erode… can’t last…”

“Hide in my divine sense,” she offered. “You said it helps recovery.”

He stared, shocked. “You’d allow that?”

“Why not? Can’t watch you die.” She waved. “Hurry—you’re fading!”

With a conflicted glance, he vanished into her mind. The suffocating Presence lifted as healing energy enveloped him.

    “Better?”

“Yes. No Demonic Energy. Thank you, child.”

“Don’t mention it.” Behind her, the entrance had disappeared. “Just us here. Let’s explore.”

“Agreed.” Useless in this realm, he watched her scan the cave, moved by her determination.
