Chapter 317: Ant Tribe vs. Earth Dragon (Part Six)

As Army Lady swung her two massive front limbs to evade incoming attacks while darting forward, her movements sent sprays of blood flying through the air. Behind her, Lvzi gingerly touched her swollen head, wiped away imaginary tears, and with cheeks puffed in determination, charged toward Earth Dragon Jon.

Her forelimbs carried corrosive, venomous, and paralyzing properties. Whenever she seized an opening to strike Jon, Army Lady would immediately follow with a relentless barrage of attacks. The regenerating spikes in Jon’s bloody wounds had yet to fully form, and fresh injuries continued to mar its body. Rivulets of crimson streamed down its colossal frame, staining the snowy ground beneath.

Every assault it launched was deftly dodged by the formidable golden-haired warrior. Yet when it shifted focus to the green-haired girl, the blonde combatant’s onslaught would descend like a tempest.

Frustration and rage consumed it. Agony coursing through its body drove it to madness.

Suddenly, the blonde warrior’s crushing blow severed its left foreleg, sending a fountain of blood arcing through the frosty air.

    "Run, Jon! Warn Mother!"

The thunderous roar from nearby snapped its attention away. Earth Dragon Aier appeared in dire straits—

Red Pupil, now transformed into a childlike form, had activated both "Berserk" and "Magnification" skills like Lvzi and Army Lady. The crimson-skinned, steam-shrouded girl moved with unprecedented speed and power, her punches shattering entire sections of Aier’s scales with each impact.

The towering Earth Dragon’s movements, already sluggish, grew even more ponderous under the "High Tower" skill’s effects. This disparity left Aier helpless as wounds multiplied across its body.

Though skills like "Earthquake" and "Earth Spike" occasionally disrupted Red Pupil’s rhythm, defensive abilities such as "Smooth Body," "Earth Wall," "Ironcladization," "Undead Crowd," "Fortress," and "Magic Scale" rendered Aier’s counterattacks ineffective—even with "High Tower’s" enhancements, its strikes only inflicted minor scratches.

Two other ants joined the assault. Weak Sound, empowered by "Magnification," "Berserk," "Magnification," and "Speeding," rivaled Red Pupil’s strength though not her speed. Meanwhile, Magic Rainbow rained icy spells from afar—"Ice Shield," "Ice Spear," and "Ice Wall"—their potency amplified by the bitter cold, shielding Weak Sound from retaliation.

Within moments, the three females had stripped swathes of scales from Aier’s body, exposing vulnerable flesh. Without its natural armor, the Earth Dragon’s defensive skills crumbled before their blade-like ant forelimbs.

Yet Aier, mightiest of the Five Dragons, endured. Its "Regeneration" skill, boosted by "High Tower," swiftly restored damaged tissue. The "Health High Speed Restore" skill continuously replenished its Health Value, while its massive frame prevented quick defeat.

Though outwardly battered and outmatched, Aier’s command for Jon to flee stemmed not merely from concern—it too planned to retreat. The grim truth loomed: sustaining both "High Tower" and "Regeneration" drained Magic Value catastrophically. Prolonged combat risked both dragons falling to these relentless ants.

    Especially the skill "Regeneration".

Under the relentless onslaught from Red Pupil and Weak Sound, Aier realized the skill "Regeneration" was draining Magic Value at a terrifying pace! Its Magic Value Limit was already low, with no means of recovery. Should this continue, its Magic Value would be depleted completely – and once that happened… it couldn’t guarantee victory against these ant monsters it had previously scorned.

Jon’s draconic eyes widened with utter disbelief. He knew Earth Dragon Aier’s power all too well – even Winter’s Ice Dragon Orna and Summer’s Fire Dragon Fan, whose strength far surpassed his own, could only claim second place against Aier! It was precisely this overwhelming power that made the other four dragons obey without question. Yet now, the mightiest Earth Dragon was shouting about retreat? Even ordering him to inform their currently absent mother? Did this mean even with Orna and Fan’s assistance, they still couldn’t defeat these ant creatures? He could scarcely believe his ears.

Yet the unfolding situation left no room for doubt. "ROAR!!" Earth Dragon Jon bellowed resentfully. His massive form suddenly contorted, coiling into a compact sphere. "Aier! Stay alive, damn you!" With this shout, Jon ignored Army Lady and Lvzi’s persistent attacks still raining upon him. Enduring excruciating pain, he transformed into a blood-smeared boulder that began rolling desperately toward the Fog Zone.

The crimson sphere moved with erratic but astonishing speed, crushing all vegetation and rocks in its path to create a broad, bloodstained trail. Though Army Lady and Lvzi initially gave chase, they gradually fell behind as the sphere accelerated. "Tsk. Got away," Lvzi clicked her tongue, halting pursuit. Army Lady glanced sideways. "Our inflicted damage suffices. Leave the rest to her." "…Fine," Lvzi reluctantly nodded before suddenly puffing her cheeks in indignation. "Hey Army Lady! You went way too hard on me! Since when do you hit this brutally?"

"Let’s regroup with Sister Red Pupil," Army Lady flatly replied, already sprinting back. "Hey! Ignoring me? That’s worse!" The green-haired girl shouted while chasing the golden-haired figure. Meanwhile, as Earth Dragon Jon began relaxing from their ceased pursuit, a searing pain suddenly tore through his abdomen.
