    Chapter 712: A Huge Harvest

"This? Isn’t that overkill?" Huangxu sweated profusely. "Once you act, you’ll carry dragon blood scent and dragon soul resentment. With these traces, escaping would be impossible!"

"How do you obtain Dragon Clan blood essence then?" Fang Lie furrowed his brows.

"We use secret methods to directly extract Dragon Clan blood essence without karma entanglement," Huangchun explained. "After merging with our bodies, we refine each drop within days using our strength. The guards won’t detect it!"

"I see." Fang Lie shrugged. "Do your thing. I’ll handle my own issues."

Seeing Fang Lie’s stubbornness, they reluctantly agreed.

Fang Lie dispatched three hundred clones to search the area. Soon they located multiple dragon corpses.

These massive dragon remains coiled like mountain ranges, each stretching thousands of feet. The outer ones were merely Tenth-Rank dragons – the deeper they went, the larger and stronger the Dragon Clan members became.

Even these Tenth-Rank corpses emitted extreme pressure. Their azure scales remained lustrous after millennia, flesh perfectly preserved with vibrant blood energy. Were it not for their stillness, Fang Lie’s group might’ve mistaken them for living creatures.

These dragons clearly died natural deaths, bodies unmarked and surrounded by faint spiritual essence – evidence of void Immortal seals. Fang Lie’s group carefully avoided disturbing them.

The Dragon Tomb’s compact size helped – they found a suitable target within hundred-mile intervals. The chosen sea dragon had shattered horns and countless scars, clearly fallen in some Great War.

Residual sword intent and terrifying Dao magic still clung to its wounds. Weaker cultivators might still suffer injuries from these ancient remnants. The persistent power after millennia hinted at opponents far surpassing modern Semi-Immortals – Fang Lie doubted even Sword God and Mo Qianxun combined could inflict such damage.

After securing this first prize, Fang Lie courteously offered: "Want it?"

Huangxu shook his head. "This Tenth-Rank Great Demon’s blood essence could only elevate us to Tenth-Rank. We need Eleventh-Rank Dragon King blood essence to properly ascend and progress further."

"Then I’ll claim it." Fang Lie grinned.

His clones swarmed the mountain-sized corpse. After safety checks, they simply hoisted it into a storage treasure. With a wave, Fang Lie appeared to store it in his bracelet, but actually employed the Sending-Home Art to transport it to Mo Sect’s Cycle of Fire.

In the Cycle of Fire, Old Bird panted excitedly: "Powerful spatial restrictions! Lucky they weakened over millennia, else I couldn’t have retrieved this treasure!"

"You seem exhausted. Necessary?" Fang Lie questioned.

"Obviously!" Old Bird retorted. "Breaching Dragon Palace and Tomb restrictions across vast distances required Mo Sect’s full protective array coordination! Only Mo Ancestor’s Thirteenth-Rank Heavenly Immortal Formation here retains enough power – not even Kunlun Mountain could achieve this!"

"Then I’ll take more!" Fang Lie’s eyes lit up.

"Wait!" Old Bird cautioned. "Show restraint."

"Since when are you frugal?" Fang Lie frowned.

"Necessity, not choice!" Old Bird grumbled. "Each teleportation drains massive Spiritual Energy and mental calculation. Maximum nine more attempts!"

"Could multiple dragons fit in one Space Treasure?"

"Foolish!" Old Bird snapped. "Teleportation cost depends on contents, not container size! Stop daydreaming!"

"Nine chances then." Fang Lie nodded. "Stand by!"

Next, Fang Lie stopped showing his skills and let 300 clones Inspect all the dragon corpses.

Fortunately, the area wasn’t too big, and the dragon corpses were large and noticeable, making them easy to find. After a little over an hour of searching, Fang Lie located all the dragon corpses. There were just over a thousand dragon corpses in this Dragon Tomb, including three Eleventh-Rank Dragon Emperors, more than a hundred Tenth-Rank Dragon Kings, and the rest were powerful members of the Dragon Clan at Ninth-Rank. Most of these dragons had died peacefully; only a small portion had perished in battle, including one Eleventh-Rank Dragon Emperor, eleven Tenth-Rank Dragon Kings, and about two to three hundred Ninth-Rank dragons.

With this, Fang Lie had his targets: the eight best-preserved Dragon Kings and the one Dragon Emperor. He then chose the two least intact Dragon Kings, one of which had lost its back half, and the other was even worse, nearly in pieces, broken into ten or more segments, cobbled together. However, even these broken remains could yield at least a drop of blood essence, so Fang Lie handed them over to Huangchun and Huangxu to handle.

Though they were somewhat dissatisfied, they did not dare to say anything to Fang Lie and could only begrudgingly activate their secret methods. In addition, Fang Lie did not want the two Great Demons to leave empty-handed, so he generously gave them the right to freely pick from the Ninth-Rank dragon corpses, since he had no use for them. This decision made the two demons very grateful, and after expressing their thanks, they eagerly went to find suitable targets.

Meanwhile, Fang Lie began a massive relocation, first sending back the most precious body, the Eleventh-Rank Dragon Emperor, which took nearly half an hour to complete, leaving the old bird tired like a dog. Not only was it tired, but the Higher-ups of the Mo Sect were also exhausted. The Spiritual Energy consumed by the protective array was too severe, and they had to busy themselves again, continuously inputting Magic and sending people to burn spirit stones for replenishment. Fortunately, Fang Lie had made a fortune during the sea demon disaster; otherwise, the Mo Sect might have gone bankrupt!

Next, the remaining eight Tenth-Rank Dragon Kings’ bodies were also sent back to the Cycle of Fire. When the last Space Treasure returned, the old bird did not dare to transform its shape and even struggled to communicate telepathically, its last words being not to seek it out for at least a month, and that the Cycle of Fire should stop being used.

Despite being greatly exhausted, the old bird was extremely excited, while Mo Qianxun and the others were even more overjoyed. Having the corpses of such celestial-level dragons was immensely beneficial for the Mo Sect. Complete dragon corpses could be refined into powerful warships that could easily advance to Eighth-Rank or even Ninth-Rank! Damaged dragon corpses could be used to recover scales, bones, and other materials for refining advanced treasures.

As for dragon blood, dragon marrow, and even dragon pills, they were even more precious and could be used to create spirit pills that defy the heavens. Particularly, the Inner Core of a Dragon King, combined with other ingredients, could be used to refine Ascension Pills, which could help cultivators in the late stage of Thunder Tribulation advance to Semi-Immortal status.

Though cultivators may only seem one or two steps away from advancing, that last step is challenging for most people; on average, in major sects, only one Semi-Immortal will emerge from about twenty late-stage Thunder Tribulation cultivators. For scattered cultivators, even one out of a hundred late-stage Thunder Tribulation cultivators might not advance. The gap between Thunder Tribulation and Semi-Immortal is several times in strength and a difference of five thousand years in lifespan!

Many people dream of advancing, but limitations in potential and talent keep them from entering the door of Semi-Immortals. Now, just one Dragon King’s Ascension Pill can resolve this issue. The Mo Sect has six late-stage Thunder Tribulation cultivators on top of nearly ten with the potential to advance; how could they not be thrilled? They were almost going insane from joy!

However, the next challenge was even more troublesome. Firstly, the Mo Sect could not refine the Ascension Pill and would have to seek help from the Xuan Sect. However, the Dragon King’s Inner Core was an extremely rare ingredient, valued almost like a Peak Eighth-Rank treasure; who would dare expose it? The Xuan Sect would surely covet it.

Additionally, the Ascension Pill was a very high-grade spirit pill, and the Xuan Sect did not have a high success rate for refining it; if they made it but claimed they ruined it, no one would find flaws in their excuses. For such precious materials, the Xuan Sect would likely throw out their need for face as well.

Lastly, who would receive the refined spirit pills? Eight Dragon King pills would yield at best four successful Ascension Pills for six late-stage Thunder Tribulation cultivators and several others as candidates; wouldn’t they be fighting over this? As soon as Mo Qianxun thought about this matter, he felt a severe headache, and the late-stage Thunder Tribulation Immortals below already had a tense atmosphere, ready to fight for the Ascension Pills!
