Chapter 595: Seizing the Treasure Tower

"I’m still alive!" Fang Lie sneered. "Did you think my undying nature was some cheap trick?"

"But… this time was different!" the Masked Man stammered in shock. "We worked with Shi Shen – three Semi-Immortals, two Ninth-Rank Treasures, pre-arranged Formations! That Curse could kill even Semi-Immortals! How did a mere Qi Sea cultivator survive?"

"The Heavenly Dao protects the righteous," Fang Lie growled, seizing the man’s throat. "Now tell me – how many of your rats infest this place? What cultivation levels?"

"Fool!" The Masked Man struggled weakly. "Release me now or Zhu Xian will make you beg for death!"

Fang Lie’s palm smashed down on the man’s shoulder with mountain-shattering force. Bones crunched like dry twigs. "Still defiant?"

Sweat poured down the assassin’s face, but he hissed through clenched teeth: "Is that… all you’ve got?"

"Brave words." Fang Lie’s fingers danced, sending destructive Magic coursing through the man’s meridians. The killer’s scream echoed through the chamber as his energy channels shredded.

"I’ve endured worse," Fang Lie said coldly as the man writhed. "Mo Sect’s torture rituals make this feel like a massage. Now talk, and I’ll grant quick death."

"Can’t… speak of Zhu Xian secrets," the Man in Black gasped. "Mind restrictions… would destroy me."

    "Then what use are you?"

"Information about this outpost! Three hundred here, but only dozens are true Zhu Xian members – rest are servants. They’re all… on top floor."

Fang Lie tightened his grip. "Leaders?"

"Puppet master is Immortal Xuanqing – Wind Tribulation cultivator who’s slain Fire Tribulation targets. Real authority lies with Immortal Kumo of Blue River Town’s triads…"

As the interrogation continued, Fang Lie’s free hand subtly traced patterns in the air. Unseen, the Treasure Tower’s restrictions shifted under Bird Bro’s manipulation.

"You’re stalling for rescuers," Fang Lie suddenly realized. "They won’t come. This tower answers to me now."

    "Impossible! Our modifications…"

"Mo Sect blueprints," Fang Lie interrupted. "Child’s play for the Benevolence Token’s candidate." A casual wave activated sealing protocols. The entire structure hummed as every exit sealed shut.

    "Bird Bro?"

"All yours," came the nasal reply. "Like taking candy from a blind cultivator."

Lights flared as Fang Lie’s consciousness merged with the tower’s core. Three hundred trapped figures froze mid-movement, their panicked shouts echoing through suddenly silent halls.
