Volume 1 Chapter 511
by post_apiChapter 511: Trusting Lolth’s Choice!
In Lolth’s mind, Murphy Yates’ voice echoed continuously, showing no signs of fading.
Each echo seemed to grow slightly stronger!
The cruel images that had appeared before, which she absolutely did not want to witness, flashed back repeatedly.
This caused Lolth immense pain, as if her entire soul was trembling.
Murphy Yates watched this scene with cold, crimson eyes.
As the Judgment Demon God, everything she said was beyond doubt.
Everything she revealed was a future that was destined to happen.
This is her power.
When she spoke of "exile," "imprisonment," or "death," even if the other person was a god, the outcome would be certain.
This is the power of "judgment."
It decides everything and determines all causes and effects.
It cannot be offended, it cannot be crossed—there is no way that succubus could withstand it!
Even if her bloodline was noble, even if her methods were endless…
In the end, she was still just a Holy Domain.
Without stepping into the realm of the gods, how could she defy the power that came from a god’s direct use of authority?
This half-plane would belong to her; it was only a matter of time.
As long as… the person behind her did not interfere.
She looked beyond the realm and could faintly sense some threatening presence.
However, the other party did not move.
This surprised Murphy Yates somewhat.
She placed the "Origin Clone" here not only to show her goodwill to Lolth but also to guard against her background.
Although wary of those people, Murphy Yates was not particularly afraid of them.
If a battle truly broke out, Hell would be a match for any divine system.
But Murphy Yates’s nature did not favor using violence.
Since the other party did not intend to take action, it was a good thing for her.
"Well then, Ruins of Sand, I shall accept it."
Murphy Yates said this as she looked at the "Five Colors" not far away.
The core of this half-plane, the artificial girl, was separated from Lolth by Murphy Yates to prevent any surprises since their negotiation began.
What Lolth had just seen, Five Colors, standing there, was only a reflection beyond an unpassable barrier.
Murphy Yates gently removed all of it.
After being freed, the girl with glasses looked at the suffering Lolth on the ground.
A flicker of anger crossed her face.
"You—!"
Five Colors murmured under her breath, poised to detonate the half-plane once more.
"Now, now, let’s not be so hasty, young lady."
Murphy Yates spoke softly, a wave of his hand summoning back the table, chairs, and tea set.
"How about we discuss a deal? If the suffering of this succubus pains you, why not hand over this half-plane to me?"
Murphy Yates offered with the same gentle smile he had used with Lolth.
"My interest lies solely in this half-plane. You are its current master, and the succubus is its rightful owner as recognized by you."
"Whether it’s you or her who strikes a deal with me, it matters not."
"I can even grant you a body, a soul, and life, liberating you from this existence!"
Murphy Yates reiterated the terms he had just proposed to Lolth.
But as Lolth had anticipated,
"Five Colors" was well aware of the price of Murphy Yates’s proposition!
"Grant me a body, a soul, and life… What can you offer that I do not already possess?" Five Colors retorted coldly. "Will you strip me of my essence and replace it with something inferior? Erase my identity and fashion a facsimile from my Soul Fragment—is this what you term ‘granting’?"
Five Colors challenged.
"Ah, when laid out so plainly, it does lose its luster," Murphy Yates conceded with a smirk. "But let’s phrase it differently—you could ‘sacrifice’ yourself for the succubus."
"She’s caught in a dilemma, torn between sacrificing you, a newfound friend, or her long-time companions from the main plane," Murphy Yates sighed, his gaze on Lolth. "Being too astute can be a curse… Had she realized that my acquisition of the half-plane would negate your ‘existence,’ she might not be so conflicted."
"And even as an Artificial Soul, even as a recent acquaintance, she values you equally… hence her indecision."
"It’s a peculiar notion; the choice should be clear—considering time and numbers, sacrificing you is the logical choice, isn’t it?"
Murphy Yates addressed Five Colors with a smile.
Each word was a dagger to the heart.
Five Colors remained silent.
She understood all too well.
On the scale’s other side were Isabella, Tina, Dorothy, Kanor… Lord Lolth’s dear friends and disciples, with whom she had shared countless experiences.
They were genuine, naturally born souls.
On the opposite side stood only herself, alone.
The choice was indeed clear.
Even if Lolth chose to forsake her, Five Colors would comprehend.
Yet…
Lolth was still in anguish, reluctant to yield.
"That’s enough… Your Honor…"
Five Colors sighed.
Her heart ached for Lolth.
Yet, there was a sliver of solace.
Thank you, Lord Lolth, for grappling with such an inequitable choice.
But there was no need to prolong the struggle.
She turned to Murphy Yates.
"I, Five Colors, the core and master of the realm ‘Ruins of Sand’…"
Five Colors spoke softly, and Murphy Yates smiled faintly.
The magic of the entire half-plane began to stir once more, not to explode,
But to transfer ownership.
Yet, at that very moment, Lolth on the ground suddenly raised her head.
Her eyes, bloodshot, locked onto Murphy Yates as she raised her middle finger.
"Damn you, Murphy Yates, I… fu… mud…"
"—Horse!"
She spat through gritted teeth, a slight smirk playing on her lips.
As Lolth struggled to lift her head, Five Colors’s voice echoed almost simultaneously.
"In the name of the master of the ‘Ruins of Sand’ half-plane, I pledge eternal loyalty and permanent ownership of the half-plane to Lolthlinda Falt Ms. Sokabus!"
Five Colors’s resolute voice rang out!
Like Lolth, she had never trusted Murphy Yates!
From the outset, she had chosen this daring course!
Because she believed in Lolth.
She believed that Lolth, with this newfound power, could find a path where no one had to be sacrificed!
This was the choice made by Five Colors!
