Wang Chong's Friends and Acquaintances


The following is a list of Wang Chong's friends and acquaintances, with a brief note of their background and the chapter they were introduced. This is a work in progress and is not comprehensive.

  • Wei Hao: Childhood friend, son of Duke Wei.
  • Zhao Jingdian: Wang Chong's right hand man from his last life, accompanying Wang Chong throughout the calamity until the last battle. His grandfather was a subordinate under Wang Chong's grandfather. Introduced in Chapter 101-102
  • Sun Zhiming: In Wang Chong's last life, was a promising general who specialized in surprise attacks but ended up dying early. Introduced in Chapter 192
    Chen Burang: A young hunter who is an extremely skilled archer. Introduced in Chapter 197
  • Su Hanshan: An extremely capable general from Wang Chong's last life, excelling in offense. However, his prideful and lone wolf personality eventually caused his death. Introduced in Chapter 198.
  • Chi Weisi: A youth belonging to the Chi Clan, which is known for its steel guards and many experts. Introduced in Chapter 200.
  • Zhuang Zhengping: A youth belonging to the Zhuang Clan, which is known for its powerful cavalry. Introduced in Chapter 200.
  • Xu Qi: A recruit from Kunwu Training Camp and a capable general from Wang Chong's last life. Assisted Wang Chong when Kunwu Training Camp was attacked by Goguryeons. Introduced in Chapter 213
  • Gao Feng: A recruit from Kunwu Training Camp and a capable general from Wang Chong's last life. Assisted Wang Chong when Kunwu Training Camp was attacked by Goguryeons. Introduced in Chapter 213
  • Nie Yan: A recruit from Kunwu Training Camp and a capable general from Wang Chong's last life. Assisted Wang Chong when Kunwu Training Camp was attacked by Goguryeons. Introduced in Chapter 213
  • Guo Feng: A scion of the Guo Clan, one of the clans that assisted in the founding of the Tang Dynasty. Introduced in Chapter 223
  • Chai Zhiyi: A scion of the Chai Clan, on the clans that assisted in the founding of the Tang Dynasty. Introduced in Chapter 223
  • Wei Anfang: A recruit of Longwei Training Camp and a capable general in Wang Chong's last life. Extremely good at following the commands of his superiors. Introduced in Chapter 308.
  • Xu Qiqin: A recruit of Longwei Training Camp and the genius daughter of the Xu Clan. In Wang Chong's last life, she became known as the Queen of Logistics. Introduced in Chapter 321
  • Xu Gan: A recruit who participated in the training camp mission to exterminate bandits with Wang Chong, Bai Siling, and Huang Yongtu. Introduced in Chapter 324
  • Huang Yongtu: A recruit who participated in the training camp mission to exterminate bandits with Wang Chong, Bai Siling, and Xu Gan. Colluded with the Yao Clan to try and get Wang Chong assassinated and was punished with exile. Introduced in Chapter 324
  • Bai Siling: A recruit who participated in the training camp mission to exterminate bandits with Wang Chong, Xu Gan, and Huang Yongtu. Is in a competition for Wang Chong's affections with Zhao Yatong, Huang Qian-er, and Xu Qiqin. Introduced in Chapter 324
  • Zhao Yatong: A lady from the Zhao Clan and an extremely skilled spear user known in the capital as 'Spear of Crimson Flames'. Participated with Wang Chong in a mission to defeat a small force of Tibetans in Longxi. Is in a competition for Wang Chong's affections with Bai Siling, Huang Qian-er, and Xu Qiqin. Introduced in Chapter 364.
