• Borders are rough estimates.
  • I believe that the author has somewhere along the way combined the Anbei and Beiting Protectorates.
  • The author has made a sort of a mess of things in the southwest with the location of Jiange. Based on the author's descriptions, Jiange is a city on the border between Mengshe Zhao and the Tang Dynasty, but the historical Jiange was a city along a pass very far from the Nanzhao border. I believe that the author has taken the city of Yaozhou, where Geluofeng historically attacked, and renamed it Jiange for some inexplicable reason.
